nTim looked at Jasmine’s finger and her missing ring. Not only that, she wasn’t even using any illusion on herself.

n“Where is your ring?” he asked.

nJasmine stared at her own finger and nearly screamed. “Where is my ring? Where did I lose it?” she asked, looking around.

nTim looked at her closely. “No, you’re a fake!” he said.

n“What?” Jasmine looked up just in time to see Tim jump on her and grapple her to the ground. Tim landed on top of Jasmine and held her hands. “Who are you? You’re not Jasmine!”

n“Idiot! It’s me. Let go of me,” Jasmine shouted, trying to push Tim off of her. But Tim was simply too heavy for her to do so. And too strong.

n“Then where is your ring?” he asked.

n“I don’t know,” Jasmine shouted. “Let go of me already.”

n“No,” Tim said. “If you’re Jasmine, then tell me something only she would know about.”

n“What do you want to know about? Your jewelry box? Your power? You becoming a pope?” Jasmine blurted out quickly.

n“Oh!” Tim quickly got off her. “You really are Jasmine. I thought you were someone else impersonating you.”

n“Obviously I’m not,” Jasmine said angrily while rubbing her wrists. “Then where is your ring?” he asked.

n“I don’t know,” she said worriedly, looking around the floor.

n“Did you drop it somewhere?” he asked.

n“Maybe? Let me go check the rooms again,” Jasmine said and turned around.

nTim tried to follow her when he suddenly felt something touch his back. He turned around quickly to see who was there, but there was no one.

n‘The hell?’ he thought, touching his back where he felt someone’s touch. There was nothing there, that made him forget about it all, but as he was turning away, he stopped.

nHe touched his back again and felt his shirt out from inside his pants. And where there should have been something on the inside, there was nothing.

n“My box!” Tim nearly shouted, quickly touching around his back to see if it had been displaced. It had not. His jewelry box was entirely missing.

n“What? What’s going on?” Jasmine quickly ran out and looked at Tim’s panicked face.

n“What? When?” she asked.

n“Just now. I felt someone touch my back. They took my box,” he said. Jasmine frowned. “And the horn? Or the eyepatch?” she asked.

nTim quickly touched around his waist and nodded. “They’re there. Only the box is gone,” he said.

n“That’s… curious,” Jasmine said. “First my ring, then your box.”

nShe looked around. “There might be someone in here with us that is taking our treasures.” A name floated to her mind. “Darkwind.”

nThe person to whom this penthouse belonged.

n“Search every room, now,” Jasmine said. “Forget about keeping yourself hidden. Our treasures have been stolen.”

nTim nodded and quickly ran through all the doors to search for anyone he could find. However, no matter where they searched, there was nobody in there.

nThey could not understand how their treasures were stolen. They searched for nearly 15 minutes before they had to give up. There truly was no one inside the room, and the windows were barred shut, so the chances of someone making it inside were none.

nAs such, the only way the person must have left was through the door. That, or he had a treasure that was capable of helping him do so much more.

n“What do we do now?” Jasmine asked.

n“We… we can only ask for help,” he said. “We can’t find this person. Only Ning can find him.”

nDejected, the two decided to leave the room. Leaving the room wasn’t such a simple task either. With the two guards sitting outside the room, and with their lack of treasures, they had to give themselves up to leave.

nThey thought for a while before they decided to give themselves up. So, they walked out of the room, ready to be captured.

nHowever, to their surprise, there were no guards there. They could hear shouts from inside the hotel, somehow on the ground floor. There were people gathered there, which they did not know the reason for.

nThey went to see it.

nArriving at the ground floor, they saw Stillwater gathered with her wounded pirates, giving an announcement on the matter that had passed that morning.

nShe announced the death of the Greenskull pirates as well as the Silvereye pirates. Tim was surprised to learn that Silvereye, who had joined the Greenskull pirates in this war had been eradicated.

nThe man whom he had stolen the eyepatch from was now dead.

nJasmine shoved him from the side, pushing him away from the place. They weren’t there to hear about the announcement, but to get back up to their room.

nThey needed to find a way to find their treasures as soon as they could.

nJasmine and Tim arrived at the penthouse quickly and saw Ning sitting on the couch.

n“Ning, there’s an emergency,” Jasmine shouted as soon as she walked in, catching their attention immediately.

nNing turned toward them. “What is it?” he asked curiously. “I heard you were gone to find the last treasure.”

n“We were,” Jasmine said. “But our treasures were stolen instead.”

n“My Jewelry box was stolen as well,” Tim said.

nNing raised an eyebrow. “Who stole from you? You couldn’t fight back?” he asked.

n“We couldn’t even see who it was,” Jasmine said. “We saw nobody. We were there and somehow the treasure was just gone. Tim says he felt something but that’s the extent of it.”

n“I see,” Ning said. “That’s unfortunate. And the 10th treasure?”

n“Screw the 10th treasure. Let us find the one we lost first.”

n“Okay, I’ll find it for you,” he said with a sigh and asked the system for information.

nWhen he got the information, Ning was a little confused at first and then surprised.

n“That… is a very interesting treasure,” Ning said. “I don’t think I know how to defeat this person.”
