Chapter 1533: Into the Crater

The wave pulled all the Spark with it, and the top of it curved so that Spark didn’t fly off. From the direction the Spark moved in, it was clear that they wanted to fill this crater with all the Spark that was in this asteroid.

But there were still things here that made Ning wonder how they were going to gather Spark exactly.

After all, regardless of how much Spark they gathered, there was no gravity to keep it in the crater.

An asteroid of this size was much too small for the gravity on it to be of any note at all. The only reason they weren’t being dragged into the Krimanax at the moment was because… well, they were.

They were falling into Krimanax at the moment, but the falling was happening in a way where they simply missed Krimanax. They fell and they missed.

Which was to say that they were in orbit around the planet and were experiencing weightlessness. They were affected by Krimanax’s gravity, but they weren’t influenced by it.

So as things stood, the asteroid was the only working source of gravity for them at the moment. But that was just too little. This gravity was just not going to be enough.

Just as Ning was thinking that, 3 people took off the chain that attached them to the ship and teleported to the middle of the crater.

As soon as the three were at the center, they pulled the remaining chains out of their suits and tied them onto something tiny at the center.

Seemingly, the carver had created a place for them to latch their chains onto beforehand.

It had all been preplanned.

There was also a small opening on the ground where the three got into, with the chains attached to the place right next to the opening.

The opening was nothing more than a small crater in the middle of the crater. It wasn’t a fancy cave or a place for them to be in.

Once the three were in place, they got to work as well.

The Teleporter’s job was to get the other two to the bottom, but he didn’t leave the place for some reason. He still remained with them, his chain tied to the bottom as well.

Next, another person acted, a girl. She pulled out something that was attached to her back and took it out.

It was a sheet of plastic, about 5 meters large in all directions. It was a thick plastic that Ning could tell even from where he was. saʀᴄh th N0vlFire(.)nt website on Ggl to access chapters of nvels early and in the highest quality.

The girl unfolded the plastic and straightened it out of the ground, pulling it with all her might. If she let go of it, it could very well fly away from this place.

As Ning watched the girl work, the plastic sheet suddenly turned into metal, immediately shrinking to match the weight of the original object with two handles on the bottom that the girl pulled on.

She held onto it tightly, closing the ground where they were hidden. Ning only wondered what they were doing now.

The wave from the side arrived right on time and everything that it brought was poured onto the side of the crater. Everything came down onto the ground, some flying over the wall, and some flying under it.

Ning suddenly felt himself lose weightlessness, as a source of gravity appeared for him right at that moment. He looked in the direction of where he felt the gravity and realized it was the three people that were at the center of the crater.

Because of the gravity, the Spark didn’t fly away in all directions like he had thought it would. In fact, it settled properly onto the crater, filling it up to quite a degree.

Ning hadn’t expected them to gather this much Spark in one go. There had to be over dozens of tons of Spark in this one place.

And from what he could see, the Carver wasn’t done just yet.

With the gravity working constantly, Ning saw the Carver do his work again and again. He went around far from the Crater and pulled out all the Spark that was gathered in that area. He was quite surprised at the efficiency of the work they were doing there.

The gravity he felt was also not coming from the asteroid at all. That was what he had assumed at first, but to his surprise, it was coming from the man inside the crater.

That was also why things looked tilted in perspective when they were further away from the crater. That was why there were four holes in the wall with smooth surfaces just beyond it. The Spark that was gathered there was sliding ‘down’ the surface and going into the crater through the holes.

Ning wondered why there had to be walls, but there was most likely some reason for that as well.

Ning remained where he was and watched as the crater was slowly filled with Spark, with no less than over 8 thousand tons of Spark.

That was a lot of Spark that these people had managed to gather today.

Ning saw a flash of light and noticed the three people from the bottom come out onto the surface again, quickly grabbed onto by their friend.

From what he could see, the metal plate they had created to cover them had done its job and they were safe from the tons and tons of powdered power that was gathered over them. Although, it probably didn’t cause a lot of pressure, and the gravity was certainly not that high.

The six gathered outside the crater and began celebrating. The Carver was sitting on the side, tired from all the work he did. Of all of them, he was the one that had done the most there.

Still, the job wasn’t over.

Ning stared at the 8000 tons of Spark that they had managed to gather and wondered, just how the hell were they going to take that home?
