Chapter 1286 Constance
The reason Aurora had held off on using the Representation for so long was due to the nature of her Constellation’s power.
Constance belonged to Capricorn, and it had the ability to make permanent changes to reality.
Anything she did with that Representation would create a lasting effect on the world—no, even the Aether Tree.
That was why it was only to be used as a last resort.
Thus far, Capricorn had provided her with Aether which noticeably boosted her abilities.
However, in a fight against a Representation… it was only trite to use another Representation.
This time, to overcome the power of Imagination, Aurora was going to use Constance.
“My power is absolute. I therefore decree it to be true.” Aurora spoke, her palm stretched at the massive figure before her.
“From simple colors, to ideas, to damage. There is nothing I can not insert into reality.”
The only exception to Constance was its need for consistency. Aurora could not defy what had already occurred or been manifested in the bid for consistency.
That also meant that whatever she manifested could be changed again.
“But that’s fine…” Aurora smiled.
The massive thing already raised its hand, ready to crush Aurora under its might.
“There is a new color that I have made. It exists in the spectrum of red and purple, with tints that would conform to 60 percent red and 40 percent purple, having dashes of blue and yellow as a base in lining…”
Being very specific was key in using Constance.
There was no room for error.
“After a trillionth of a second, the color suddenly fades away into obscurity, as if it never existed to begin with.”
The fist drew closer.
“The color’s name is Auroradi. You are made of that color.”
In an instant, the massive being of white took on a different color.
It was now made up of Aurorandi—the new color that had been birthed into existence by Constance.
Unfortunately, as was the fate of Aurorandi, it was a fleeting color.
One that was inevitably going to vanish almost as soon as it was birthed.
As a result…
~FSHUUUUUUUUUUUU~
… Before the fist even reached Aurora…
“Goodbye.”
… It disappeared—forever lost to obscurity.
Aurora stood, floating in the darkness of space with a smile on her face.
Everything could have been this simple, but if she could easily use her abilities, it would lead to some very devastating effects—at least, according to Capricorn.
‘I’m quite responsible, though…’ Her thoughts trailed as she sighed slightly.
~Good job. Looks like we’re done here.~
Once Capricorn spoke, Aurora straightened herself and nodded stiffly.
“Indeed. Should we go and assist the rest?”
~It would be preferable to rendezvous with the spearhead team. The mission comes first, after all.~
Upon hearing this, Aurora nodded and prepared for interstellar flight.
Out of everyone who was fighting, there was one particular person whom she was worried for.
The most unserious of the group.
‘Lemi, you better not play around this time.’
With that thought, Aurora sped off.

Moments Earlier
There once existed a Constellation Host who was chosen by the great Scorpio.
He was meant to be the Hero of his world—saving everyone from the great evil that pervaded the land and ensuring the world was at peace.
He did all of that.
However… soon after, he became the great evil.
Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
The one who was once called a Hero soon grew to be a tyrannical leader in his world as he ruled his people with an iron fist.
With the power of a Constellation, no one could stand up to him.
No one could stop him.
… Until someone finally appeared.
Legris Damien stripped him of all his power and killed him. The overwhelming disgrace he suffered was still etched in his lifeless body, even now that he was a mere pawn.
The once great Conqueror was now reduced to a pawn.
A pawn who was matched against a girl who seemed young enough to be his daughter.
She had pointy ears, and her black and white hair instantly stood out as she fsddd him.
Despite the supposed tension of battle, she had a smile on her face.
Why?
Why would she be so optimistic in such a dreaded scenario? She was currently facing the very embodiment of death and despair—at least that was what he was in the past.
Right now, this fallen Hero, and dead Conqueror, had no will of his own. He had no mind to reason, or memory to draw from.
He was no longer himself.
However, his body remembered details from his time as an invincible warrior.
The mere fact that he was donning his armor, and held his long, lean blade put him in the mood—showcasing his battle instincts.
Muscle memory and sheer bodily instincts gave him a persona.
Slowly, he raised his hand and pointed his blade at the smiling girl before him.
She was an impudent one that he would have to put in her place.
“You’ll die.”
For a moment, there was silence. Even after making his declaration, there was no motion from either of them.
The girl was frozen in motion, almost as if shocked by his declaration.
Yes, this was it.
She was probably experiencing absolute despair. It pleased the shell of the man greatly.
However, his suspicions could not be further from reality.
“W-what! You can speak? That’s crazy!”
From a look of shock, the girl’s expression graduated into further excitement.
She seemed to have stars in her eyes as she gushed over the armored devil.
It confused even his sharp senses.
At this point, he could not converse any longer. His instincts were sending him into overdrive, and there was only one thing he could do now.
~BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!~
Energy surged from his body in the form of blood-red light, with hints of blackness swirling around him.
His armor glowed, his blade gleamed sharper, and everything around him became warped under his command.
He had been asleep long enough.
It was finally time for the Tyrannical Devil to emerge.

Thanks for reading, everyone!
Constance is really powerful, isn’t it? With great power comes great responsibility, though.
