nInside the destroyer class battleship a man in battle armor was relaxing with a glass of wine, when an alarm sounded in the battleship.

nThe man didn't care much, but soon a soldier arrived into the room and reported

" sir there is an unforeseen development, the fugitive that we have been looking for has appeared in the village and killed one of our officers and escaped into the forest with the rebel that we had captured.

nThe two vice captains have already followed them...

nClaudius crushed the wine glass in his hand with wine spilling all over.

nClaudius yelled out in anger

" Every spacecraft follow the fugitive, he shouldn't escape at any cost...

nHe stormed into the control center of the battleship, but the scene on the monitoring device enraged him further.

nThe screen only showed a big sand storm and detecting the two rebels in the sand storm was becoming more difficult with time.

nThere was nothing showing in the infra red or other specific scans, it was as if the two rebels had melded into the sand storm.

nCaludius yelled

" Fire at will...Open the exit door....

nClaudius disappeared from the control centre, leaving behind a gust of wind.

nA little while back Sam had killed the officer who was doing the interrogation and after that when everyone was still surprised he arrived near Levi.

nTook out the heavy black blade and cut down the sturdy chain that had tied up Levi's hand.

nEven though the soldiers were a little slow they started firing, but Sam had already used the heavy blade as a shield and used the next earth skip to get out of the encirclement carrying Levi on his shoulder.

nAfter arriving at the boundary walls of the village with some more earth skips.

nHe used the sand storm technique and the one with the earth technique to create distraction and cover.

nBut if someone were to look carefully they would notice that Sam had not taken the optimum path to retreat.

nSam wanted to lead the troops and spacecraft towards the forest so that the villagers won't get involved in what was coming next.

nSam didn't have to wait for long, almost all of the fighter class spaceships along with the Destroyer started following him.

nHe was a little surprised at first because he had believed that he would have to create more trouble to lead the troops completely towards his direction, but he saw that they were completely focused on him without much effort.

nOfcourse Sam didn't know the commander of this troop was the brother of the guy that he had killed earlier.

nBut soon he found that maybe he had attracted a little too much attention as the spaceship started firing continuously.

nEven Though he was hidden inside the sand storm, the spaceship started using the strategy of burning the whole house to kill a single rat.

nSam took out the armored golem, but he still had to carry Levi like a Knight carrying a damsel.

nSam was able to avoid the major plasma beams with the help of his beastly instincts and Maya's intuition.

nBut still avoiding everything was impossible with his current level of cultivation, But the sturdy armor and energy shield was able to withstand the lesser fire power.

nAs he was going to get out of the area where the spaceship's were focusing heavy fire on, he heard a mutter from his back.

nIt was like some heavy psionic weapon was launched, the sound came a little far away from where he was.

nSam was in cold sweats when he heard the sound, thinking that it was some heavily destructive weapon.

nBut the energy explosion or fire that he was expecting never came.

nWhat came was a heavy gust of wind which covered the entire area of his sand storm and dispersed the sand storm completely.

nSam appeared before the whole army and he was a sitting duck.

nClaudius was also a natural born elemental body and the element that he controlled was wind.

nSam was in no mood to check out the person that used such a move, because he could feel goosebumps rising as the guns started pointing at his back.

nSam used the energy shield with full power to form a heavy shield behind him, he also took out the dark brown shield that he has not used for a while.

nThe shackles of Maya also started wounding around the body of the golem.

nAll of this happened within seconds.

nSam didn't stop and used another earth skip, but this time the super computers in the space ship were able to perfectly lock on him.

nBut something really lucky happened as the loaded destroyer class battleship didn't fire unlike the rest and a small explosion happened inside the destroyer.

nThis was the doing of the Evil sword which has disappeared after destroying one of the fighter class spaceships.

nIf it wasn't for the timely aid of the Evil sword, Sam would have been in big danger.

nBut the fighter class space ship was also not just for show.

nwhen they clearly identified the target the fire power was heavy and accurate.

nSam was blasted away completely, his armor and shield damaged. His brain felt like it had been completely shaken.

nBut he used the extra momentum to launch another earth skip, which took him further away. But Levi was in really bad condition; his left arm and shoulder were completely blasted away and his whole body was burned. He was close to death.
