"Ah… Umm… Yes, your highness.

" Sylvia hurriedly nodded and tried to lift her bow up.

nEverything around her was entirely new to her.

nShe was someone who was farthest away from magic and combat.

nSo all these things intimidated her, not excluding her present company.

nWith the little devil rushing her, Sylvia haphazardly scrambled and tried to get an arrow out.

nShe imitated other people around her and held her bow in a similar fashion.

nShe then placed an arrow in the middle and pulled the string along with the arrow with the full strength that she could muster.

nTWANG

nA clear sound rang out as Sylvia's eager eyes searched for her arrow in the sky.

nThis was her first try and she had a good feeling about it!

nMoreover, holding a bow for some reason felt very empowering.

nHer lips curved upwards as she craned her neck and gazed above at the dancing water droplets.

nHowever, before she could even blink and search properly for her arrow amidst the dazzling shiny water droplets, a loud peal of laughter echoed near her.

n

"Bwa Ha Ha Ha. Slave gal! What are you looking at? See down, you idiot. Bwa Ha Ha Ha.

"

nThe little devil was clutching his stomach and laughing his heart out.

nSylvia's eyes slowly trailed down and gazed at the arrow that hadn't gone anywhere but simply fallen flat on the ground in front of her.

nAh~~~

nThe poor girl instantly reddened, embarrassment covering her entire body and soul from top to bottom.

nIn her defense, she had never held a bow in her hands before!!!

nBut the three people next to her didn't seem to remember that important fact and were all laughing at her openly.

nEven the usually calm and composed knight Sir Theodore was chuckling openly.

nWaaah! Sylvia wanted to bury her head somewhere.

nBullies! Big bullies! All the three men standing around her were big bad bullies!

nEven so… this small embarrassment was nothing compared to the other humiliations she had suffered through recently.

nSo Sylvia quickly brushed it aside and squeezed out a weak smile in response to the little devil's taunts.

nShe absentmindedly stared at the small kid as his innocent bubbly laugh was contagious, making her own smile a little bit bigger.

nBut this smile abruptly paused as Sylvia suddenly felt a presence behind her.

nWas some damned lecher trying to feel her up in the crowd?

nShe turned around in alarm, only to come face to face with the devil himself.

nSylvia froze and stood still without making another move as if this would make her invisible and help her magically disappear from his spotlight.

nMikel returned the woman's gaze, his eyes fervently imprisoning hers.

n

"Why don't I teach you?

" His full lips moved, his velvety voice sounding powerful and alluring.

n

"Teach me… what?

" Sylvia gulped, forgetting momentarily where they were.

nOnly this devil had the ability to make her head dizzy and her knees weak.

n

"Heh. What else?

" The man was clearly amused by her reply. He wordlessly spun her around and pulled her back into his chest.

nHer body fit snugly within his embrace, her trembling back resting on his wide arrogant chest.

nThe man held her closely, his hands bigger and warmer, wrapped around hers, helping her hold the wooden bow more steadily.

nA small gasp escaped Sylvia's lips as she felt the man everywhere on her body.

nNo one has ever held her so intimately, that too in front of so many people.

nHer heart rate quickened and her cheeks flushed. A vague heat spread through her limbs making her lose focus.

nShe burned under the man's touch, while he was busily whispering various instructions in her ears.

n

"Hold it firm.

"

n

"Keep it tight.

"

n

"Straighten your back.

"

nOnly half the words fell on Sylvia's ears, the other half magically vanishing into nothingness.

n

"And now… take a deep breath… aim and release.

"

nIn the end, Mikel even finished his lesson and Sylvia had barely paid attention to any of it.

nWhen he released her from his touch, she gulped nervously, taking a look at the bow in her hands and the way the arrow had been placed.

nShe memorized it.

n

"Go on,

" Mikel smirked.

n

"Slave gal! You can do it.

" Even the little devil cheered for her.

nSighing helplessly, Sylvia decided to try it one more time.

nShe was already half drenched in the rain, she might as well get fully wet.

nAfter all, this embarrassment was nothing when compared to the other things that the devil had done to her.

n

"Damn it. Why am I getting affected by him so much? I could have at least learned to do this properly if I had paid attention.

"

nShe lamented her stupid brain inwardly and released the arrow in one swift motion, aiming for a random water droplet dancing in the sky above them.

n
