Chapter 26 - Killing The Adventurer Bandits

n

n

nAdventurer bandits, are the bandits that set their eyes on the low-level adventurers and they would take half of the loot from the adventurers if they willingly give; otherwise, they would just kill the adventurers and loot them completely.

n'Hehe'

nHowever, when he heard the leader of the adventurer bandits, Porter could not help reveal an eerie laugh but he didn't say anything.

n'Huh?'

nSeeing the eerie chuckle on Porter's face, the leader felt something was not right and hurriedly looked at Lucas to check his cultivation.

n'He is just a mid-level squire but why does he look so confident?'

nHowever, no matter how he looked at Lucas, the leader of the adventurer bandits didn't think that Lucas could win against the dozen squires in which there were even a couple of high-level squires and high-level apprentice mages.

n'Puchi'

n'Puchi'

n'Thud'

nJust then, he saw something that made him freeze in his place.

nBecause among the twelve of his men, eight were dead before they could even reach Lucas and the other two were killed by the short swords in his hands.

n'From the 12, only two were alive. What kind of monster is he? What should I do now?'

nThe leader of the adventurer bandits didn't know what he should do because he was not as strong as Porter despite having the same tier 1 lesser knight rank.

n'Ding,

nCongratulations to the host for killing six mid-level squires and a high-level squire.

n'Ding,

nThe host is rewarded with 7 sovereign points and his short sword mastery increased by (2

/ 100) in the small success stage.

n'Ding,

nCongratulations to the host for killing 2 mid-level apprentices and a high-level apprentice mage.

n'Ding,

nThe host is rewarded with 3 sovereign points and a basic earth spell.

nSoon, his head was filled with the system notifications which he didn't have any time to check as he still had one high-level squire and a high-level mage to take care of.

nIf someone had killed a human for the first time, they would not maintain their calm; however, Lucas was much calmer because, in the past life, his entire life was about killing.

n'No matter which life it is, I am cursed to either kill my way to the top or die in the process.'

nLucas had already thought he would be killing the humans in this life too; however, he didn't expect it to happen sooner than he imagined.

n

"What are you? How did you kill them?

"

nAfter seeing their friends die, the two bandits looked at Lucas as though they were looking at some kind of monster. Moreover, they also lost the will to fight Lucas as they shuddered in fear looking at Lucas.

n

"O fire elements...

"

nNevertheless, the high-level apprentice mage started chanting while the high-level squire was protecting him.

n'Swoosh'

nHowever, why would Lucas let the apprentice finish his spell? So, without wasting any time he rushed towards them.

n'Take this.'

nJust when he was a few meters away from the high-level squire, Lucas threw the short sword at his neck.

n'Clang'

nThe high-level squire was able to deflect the short sword with his sword; however, felt a sharp pain in his foot because Lucas' other short sword was in his foot.

nThe short sword which was half a meter long was completely entering into the ground through the high-level squire's foot.

n'Aargh'

nThe squire could not help but groan as he looked at his leg.

n

"I will come back for you. Just endure it for a while.

"

nWith a slight smile on his face, Lucas rushed towards the high-level apprentice mage.

n'Snap'

nBefore the apprentice could finish his chanting, he saw Lucas snapped his neck.

nGenerally, apprentice mages had weak bodies compared to squires. So, all Lucas had to do was close the distance between him and the apprentice before killing him.

n'Ding,

nCongratulations to the host for killing a high-level apprentice mage.

n'Ding,

nThe host is rewarded with one sovereign point.

n'Only one sovereign point?'

nLucas shook his head as he went back to the high-level squire who was still groaning in pain.

n

"I will put you out of your misery.

"

nLucas picked the short sword deflected by the squire earlier as he slashed his throat getting another sovereign point.

n'With this, I have 210 sovereign points. Looks like I can buy some good items in the next weekly items in the sovereign shop.'

nLucas was keeping track of his sovereign points as he was eagerly waiting for the weekly refresh of the items in the sovereign points.

n'Should I just buy the 'Lesser knight pill' and sell it in the auction too?'

nLucas had another thought; however, he quickly rejected that idea because he just wanted to save the sovereign points for the next weekly items.

n'What poor bandits? Their weapons are all normal ones.'

nLucas shook his head in pity when he saw their weapons and didn't bother to take them as it was just extra weight for him.

n

"Porter, stop playing and kill him. We didn't have all day to waste here.

"

nEvan was waiting for him back in the Raindrop manor and he still had to sell the body parts of the devil rabbit and the iron-headed ants. So, Lucas shouted at Porter to finish the fight.

n

"Yes, master.

"

nPorter was just having some fun with the leader of the bandits and when he heard Lucas's shout, he nodded his head.

n

"If something happens to me, the Grayeye family will not let you off.

"

nHe knew that his end was near. So, he wanted to threaten them with the name of the Grayeye of the family.

n

"How can such a top family have ties with you poor bastards?

"

nHearing the 'Grayeye' family name, Porter looked at Lucas as though he was asking what he had to do. So, Lucas walked towards them and scoffed at the leader of the bandits.

nEven though he didn't like the Grayeye family, it was still a well-established family in the Silverstone town.

nAs for these adventurer bandits, they have nothing valuable on them. So, Lucas was having a hard time believing that.

n'Looks like it is working. He seems to fear the Grayeye family.'

nWhen he saw that Lucas didn't ask his servant to kill him, the leader of the bandits felt his life could be saved.

n

"Here, this is the insignia of the Grayeye family.

"

nWith a confident smile on his face, he took out a silver-coloured coin with an eye symbol on it.

n

"Porter, he just gave me another reason to kill him. You know what to do, right?

"

nAfter checking the insignia of the Grayeye, Lucas calmly replied to Porter, before going back to the horses.

n

"Did you hear that? You better leave...what?

"

nThe leader of the bandits thought Lucas was letting him; however, by the time he understood that Lucas asked Porter to kill him, he was cut into two pieces.
