nChapter 21 – No Blood Relations! (冇有血緣!)

nEven though Qiao Hongye was anxious, she still believed in her luck.

nShe had known the boss of those hooligans for quite a few years. Their relationship had always been good and he had helped her a lot in the past. They definitely wouldn’t rat her out…

nThinking of that, Qiao Hongye lightly sighed in relief.

nJing Yunzhao entered the office and faced her audience, “Teachers, you have all been wronged because of me, and I am deeply sorry. But Yunzhao still has something that will need the help of all of you and the school. This kind of abuse, I don’t want to endure it any longer!”

n“Jing Yunzhao, what kind of abuse have you gone through?! If I don’t beat you, you won’t remember your place!”

nQiao Weimin was used to using violence and after saying what he had said, he naturally raised his hand. Unexpectedly, when his hand fell, it didn’t hit Jing Yunzhao’s face, but was instead caught by her.

nDuring this week’s length of time, she tried to make time every day to enter her space. When in the space, she would either spend most of her time absorbing the jade piece’s medical knowledge or practising martial arts. Because she only practised a little, she didn’t improve significantly. However, the strength of her hands was far stronger than before.

n“You’re getting more and more arrogant. You dare block it? I’ll **ing beat you, you shameless bastard, no matter what…” Jing Yunzhao’s acting angered Qiao Weimin and he tried to attack again.

nLuckily, the surrounding male teachers reacted in time and stopped Qiao Weimin, but it still left their hearts cold afterwards.

nWith this kind of father, it would be better to be an orphan!

n“Qiao Weimin, since you’re saying that I’m a bastard, then you admit that I’m not your daughter?! If so, then what qualifications do you have to make me quit school?! Plus, just because there are things I’ve never said doesn’t mean I don’t know anything about them!” Jing Yunzhao stared at him coldly and continued, “Teachers, you all know that I’m a child from my mom’s previous marriage, but you don’t know that Ye Qin isn’t my biological mother either!”

n“During Ye Qin’s pregnancy, she had found me swaddled in clothing. She originally wanted to abandon me, but a fortune-teller said that I could be used to block evil for her children. So she reigned in her temper and took me home. I didn’t know the truth before. I never understood why my parents treated me with cold words and wronged me every day. However, I later found out the truth, and finally understood the reason!”

n“No matter what, Ye Qin did raise me for years, and I am very grateful for that. She passed away recently, and I mourned for her without complaint and hesitation. But the one whom I owe is Ye Qin. I owe Qiao Weimin nothing! All these years, he would scold and beat me. He would rather believe in the dirty rumours and not me! Today, he’s here to make me quit school not because I did something wrong, but because the house now lacks a mother who cooks and cleans!”

nJing Yunzhao’s eyes were red, dumbfounding the people surrounding her.

nThey were all surprised with what she had said.

nEven Qiao Weimin and Qiao Hongye didn’t consider that Jing Yunzhao had already known of her own birth story.

n“Jing Yunzhao… So you’re saying that you, Qiao Hongye, and Qiao Zizhou have absolutely no blood relations?” Teacher Jin inhaled a breath of cold air and asked.

nIf Jing Yunzhao were Ye Qin’s biological child, then they could only hope Qiao Weimin would treat Jing Yunzhao better on account of his deceased wife…

nBut now, Jing Yunzhao was a child with no blood relations to the Qiaos. Even Qiao Weimin called her a bastard. Towards a “bastard”, don’t even think about treating her with great care, Qiao Weimin might not even treat her with basic courtesy!

nAt this moment, the eyes of the teachers became strict and cold.

nThey were only polite to Qiao Weimin before because he was Jing Yunzhao’s parent. But now…

n
