nChapter 83 – Too Violent (太暴力)
nJing Yunzhao shook her hand. Her gloomy appearance was a bit frightening. The corners of her lip curved, smiling coldly. She squeezed her words through the cracks of her teeth. “Oh, excuse me. I couldn’t control it and accidentally slapped you. Sorry. I won’t do it again! Do you think this is okay?!”
nEvery time Qiao Hongye finished saying her slanderous words, she always had an innocent, apologetic look. If Jing Yunzhao didn’t forgive her, she would seem petty. Plus, back when Qiao Hongye had Ye Qin’s (her mom) backing, Qiao Hongye was even more shameless, reckless. But Jing Yunzhao was not the Jing Yunzhao she was before.
nQiao Hongye’s eyes widened. Her tears came trickling down effortlessly, “Ho-how could you hit me…”
n“If you can spread rumors everywhere, then why can’t I teach you a lesson?! This slap was only to bring you pain for a while. You, yourself, should know how much trouble your words have given me. Qiao Hongye, just because I have put up with you in past doesn’t mean that I will let you do as you please in the future. It’s only a slap today, but if I hear any more bad things coming out of your mouth again, I won’t let you off easily!”
nAfter Jing Yuzhao ended her sentence, she walked away from that crowd of girls. The cold sight of her back had awoken fear within others.
nEven though they were all of the same age, they had to admit that Jing Yunzhao was different from them.
nIn the past, Jing Yunzhao had an unapproachable aura and had always been an outcast. However, recently, she has been assertive and possessed unbridled confidence. Usually, her existence is overlooked. She would be overly fixated with being in her own world, studying or reading. Other times, however, she would explode like a volcano if her limit was tested. Those eyes of hers would then be filled with animosity and turn unbelievably cold.
nQiao Hongye was still standing outside of the classroom door. Her lips had been bitten red, eyes swollen, her tears were flowing nonstop.
nA few girls around her tried to console her but did not know what to say.
nShould they say that Jing Yunzhao was unreasonable? But she only wanted Qiao Hongye to stop talking so mindlessly about dating as the school deemed it as a serious offense. They would be severely reprimanded if the teachers were to find out.
nShould they say that Jing Yunzhao was too violent? She was a little… but they dare not mention it!
nQiao Hongye looked so pitiful. Her tears made the hearts of many boys ache. They truly wanted to avenge Qiao Hongye and teach Jing Yunzhao a lesson.
nThis is truly the case for Jiang Xia who just walked into the situation and saw Qiao Hongye’s pitiful appearance. He panicked, “Qi-Qiao Hongye, why are you crying? Tell me who bullied you, I’ll help you teach them a lesson!”
nQiao Hongye was his Goddess. She looked so cute and kind whenever she smiled. How could there be someone blind enough to bully her?!
nShe’s crying so hard. Did she get taken advantage of?
nQiao Hongye shook her head. She had some impression of this Jiang Xia.
nShe knew that he was Class One’s Class Monitor. Even though he wasn’t as well-known as Gan Jinchen, he was still pretty good-looking. Many girls liked him. Sometimes they would share greetings and maybe even have a casual conversation every so often.
n“Why do you shake your head? Were you scolded by a teacher? But classes haven’t started yet…” How would Jiang Xia understand the heart of a girl?
nQiao Hongye had many boys and girls beside her as her companions. When they saw just how mistreated and pitiful Qiao Hongye looked, they immediately said, “It’s all because of your class’s Jing Yunzhao! Hongye merely asked if she and Gan Jinchen were dating, but Jing Yunzhao slapped Hongye. And now look at her face, it’s all red!”
