n456 Mysterious Space

nFang started to look around, staying in place as she tried to grasp what sort of place she got herself into.

n“This… isn’t a pocket dimension, is it?”

nShe was no longer joking around, with her expression turning serious. Her ears both perked up, trying to pick up even the faintest sounds, but she came out with nothing at all.

n“Nobody’s here?”

nAfter waiting for a few more seconds, and after nobody appeared, nor any sort of presence anywhere at all, Fang decided to take a step forward and walk around the dark space. .

n“…”

nThe first place she went was where the only things present were the table and chairs. She inspected them, but other than being made out of unknown material, similar to wood in texture and look, she was completely unable to figure it out.

n“Wait, this scent…”

nFaintly, her nose picked up a familiar scent.

n“Leader?”

nThis further confused Fang, who was wondering where she got herself into. Just as she was worrying about what to do next, a voice echoed loudly, causing her to lower her stance in wariness.

n“Who’s there?”

n“…!”

nJust as she crouched, Fang’s brain processed what she just heard and quickly realized something weird. The voice sounded similar to Will’s but a little bit deeper and calmer, as if mouthed by an older version of him.

n“You are… Fang? What are you doing in this place?”

nThe owner of the voice seemed to know who she was, making Fang feel warier. She quickly looked around, looking for possible cover if a fight started, but other than the table and chairs, there wasn’t anything else in that space.

n“No need to panic; I’m not an enemy… Rather, I’m an ally of Will.”

n“Leader’s ally!”

nFang felt surprised after hearing that, but she didn’t completely lower her guard. She couldn’t deny the possibility that it could be an enemy trying to deceive her, after all.

nSeeing her still act vigilant, the voice laughed heartily, as if amused by what he was seeing.

n“Hahaha! Right, don’t lower your guard just because of what I claimed to be. You have good danger management skills, don’t you? I think Death would want to take you in as his disciple if he were here.”

nHis voice turned from solemn to friendly, making Fang feel completely lost. However, soon enough, her body started to glow a translucent white, causing her to panic.

n“W-What’s happening?! What did you do to me?!”

n“Relax,”

nThe voice asserted, trying to calm her down.

n“But still, you shouldn’t be here. You must be curious about this place, so try asking Will about it. I’m sure he’ll answer you.”

nBefore Fang could ask again, she was already ejected from that space. As soon as her vision returned, the first thing she saw was Ember’s face, with her brows furrowed and a faint frown on her face. 𝘦𝑎.𝒸ℴ

n“…”

nFeeling uncomfortable, Fang wiped the sweat off her forehead. Beads of them were forming, as if Fang had been in deep focus for a long while.

n“How long was I like that?”

nShe asked Ember, who finally heaved a sigh of relief after Fang woke up.

n“You were like that for five minutes. You were even moaning uncomfortably as if having a nightmare.”

n“Five minutes, huh…?”

nShe felt like she had only been in that space for a minute, two at most. With the disparity between the time she experienced and the time that had actually passed, Fang couldn’t deny the possibility that it was all just a dream.

n“Phew…”

nBut when she took a deep breath, as she was breathing out, she felt something weird in the middle of her chest. Curious, she placed a hand over it, at the center, right between her twin peaks. There, she could feel a presence that she hadn’t felt before.

n“Could this be…?”

nRealizing a small possibility, Fang quickly closed her eyes, resuming her cross-legged sitting position. She focused on the “presence” in the middle of her chest and then started to push her entire energy toward it.

nAs if by magic, the energy got compressed and slowly turned into a pocket dimension.

n‘This is it!’

nFang inwardly cheered, discovering the “location” of her soul and succeeding in creating a seed of her God Kingdom!

nFang didn’t let the chance go and quickly gathered more of her energy, feeding it to her soul. Slowly, but surely, the pocket dimension she created was slowly starting to gain more space. This process continued for a while, until Fang’s Domain was forcefully activated, just like with Igni’s.

n“Oh my!”

nEmber was surprised, seeing that Fang was now doing the same thing as Igni! The two, just after getting a few clues, managed to actually create their own God Kingdoms! She quickly moved to protect Igni from Fang’s Doman, while Minerva and Hekate stopped their attempts to protect themselves too.

nJust like that, the four of them watched with bated breaths as Fang built her world!

nHowever, there was one problem.

nDue to the large impact of the dark space she visited on her psyche, her God Kingdom ended up taking the same look. A place covered in eternal darkness where you can’t even see your nose.

nFortunately, Fang could manipulate the dimness and brightness of every corner of it. As such, she wouldn’t have any problems staying in there for a while if need be. But for those whom she deems enemies, they would lose all their senses and become lost in darkness until they breathed their last.

n“…”

nHowever, before she could rejoice, the thing about the black space she visited still bothered her. If it wasn’t a nightmare, then that place should be real.

n“I should ask Leader about it later…”

nShe muttered to herself before finally relaxing her tensed body. Her God Kingdom had finally stabilized, and even without consciously maintaining it, it wasn’t disintegrating.

nThis process was a lot faster for Fang compared to Igni, probably due to the difference in their mastery and control of their energies.
