nWei Xiao Bei felt his blood run cold. He did not dare stay there any longer and broke into a run.

nWhile he kept smashing down on the black beetles at the edge of the street, he failed to notice a red clothed, long haired woman standing on top of the roof of one of the small buildings on the other side of the street.

nFollowing her appearance, a strange sound that could not be heard by normal ears travelled through in the air.

nThe sound echoed causing the temperature of the street to instantly drop.

nWei Xiao Bei could not help sneezing at this. Soon, the black beetles receded back to Lake Cui like a tide.

nAll of a sudden, Wei Xiao Bei was left alone, baffled at this scene.

nWhat’s going on?

nBecause he was still worried that the back beetles would come back, he did not immediately respond. He only came back to his senses when the black beetles retreated back to more than ten meters away.

nThose retreating black beetles were important evolution points, so he quickly chased after them and smashed towards them with the club in his hand.

nHowever, as soon as he reached the lakeside, his instincts quickly warned him of the danger, stopping him from going anymore forward.
