nGui rolled eyes at him, seeing his bandaged hand, didn’t answer but asked, “What happened to your hand?”
n“What happened? It was broken by the man you’re thinking in every second. I just had it splinted.” Ning Shaoyu was angry.
nHearing that his hand was broken by Ning Shaoqing, somehow she felt delighted by his injury.
n
n
nHowever, the look was caught by Ning Shaoyu. His previously suppressed fury could no longer be held in. At this moment, he saw the shadow of Ning Shaoqing from the eyes of Gui.
nHe pounced over like a tiger, knocking Gui down to the ground, rode on her and began to tear her clothes.
nHe did it in an extreme violence. Gui was a little frightened but most of all, irritated!
nTo do something salacious in daytime and with violence?
n
n
nShe was a noble lady and his legal wife, not those cheap prostitutes. He couldn’t do that to her.
nGui somehow collected some strength and immediately push Ning Shaoyu off her, “Are you crazy, Ning Shaoyu?”
nNing Shaoyu, unwittingly pushed off because his one hand was powerless from the bandage, hit the ceiling, ripped off the bandage, and slapped Gui right in the face, “Yes, I am crazy now!”
nGui was shocked by the slapping, and Ning Shaoyu got on her again.
n
n
nNoises rang in the room, firstly of things thrown all over and later of ripping clothes, in the midst of the second lord’s roar and the second lady’s cry for help…
nBut the servant girls and nannies waiting outside, blushed, could do nothing but look at each other. None of them dared to break in and ruin the second lord’s mood.
n“You…you’re not a man.”
n“Don’t you already know whether I’m a man or not?”
n“…”
nThen, the sound of heavy breathing covered up everything else.
n
n
nAfter a while, the room got completely quiet.
nGui, face swollen, hair messy, lay naked on the ground like a dead fish, motionless. She could never imagine she would one day be raped by her husband like a humble cheap woman.
nYet, Ning Shaoyu didn’t stop the insult. While she putting on clothes, he took a hard grip at her hair, growling fiercely at her, “I tell you, Gui Xiaoxi. Don’t think of it for your life. He will never give you a glance anymore.
nBesides, behave yourself and give birth to a son for me. Maybe, you still have the chance to become a madam. Or…”

nAfter lunch, Mrs. Jia held Mo Qianxue’s hand and chatted in the thermal pavilion, while concubine aunt Zhang and aunt Li served around carefully.
nMrs. Jia invited Mo Qianxue to sit on the couch, while the eldest sister-in-law Jiang, the second sister-in-law Yao and the three daughters of concubines naturally sat politely and respectfully in the chairs.
nThe inner courtyard was the place for females, so after lunch when Mr. Jia and Mo Qianxue decided the date for her to give lectures in the Academy, Mr. Jia had left with content.
n
n
nThe two young lords also left for their own business after saying hi to this suddenly-appearing sister.
nThe females of the whole mansion were gather in Mrs. Jia’s thermal pavilion to accompany with guest. Certainly, the servants here were also on the go, shuttling nonstop.
nSeeing tea was served, Mo Qianxue remembered that she hadn’t offered the refreshment that she brought from the Founder mansion yet. She hurried summoned over nanny Mo who was waiting at the door and ordered, “Nanny, please take over the cakes I made for mother.”
nThe cakes were said to be made by her, but in fact by Chuyi and Shiwu under her instruction. Mo Qianxue just watched the time when they were ready to take out of the oven.
nHowever, to a lady like her, this could be called making on her own.
nOf course, Mo Qianxue didn’t only bring such a simple gift on this visit. Other valuable presents had already been offered by the four servants Zhizhu, Zhihe, Zhiling and Zhiqiao, when they just entered the door.
nAfter a while, each of the four servants carried an exquisite cake and showed up.
nThe four cakes, in four colors and flavors, were coated with a layer of jam made by fresh fruit.
nTo make the cakes, Mo Qianxue had racked her brains. Here, there was no plastic, but luckily there was glaze although the porcelain technique wasn’t well developed.
nThe cakes were beautifully packed and carried in the four flat glaze bowls.
nThese bowls were among the dowry of Feng Qingyu. It was said that across the whole Tianqi, there were few bowls alike, something for appreciation instead of having meals with.
nThis gift shocked everyone in the Jia mansion. The lady of the Founder mansion and future madam of a super family was indeed extraordinary. Even cakes could be made so beautiful…
nAfter gazing long at the cakes with appreciation, Mrs. Jia picked one of the bowl, scooped a little with a prepared gold spoon and put into her mouth.
n
n
nShe closed her eyes to taste it, and suddenly her brows leaped. After she swallowed it, she was still feeling the aftertaste, “Emm…nice! It’s fine and soft, fragrant and sweet. A strong flavor but not greasy.”
nThe appreciative look and praise of Mrs. Jia made everyone else almost drool.
nMrs. Jia wasn’t the kind of tasteless person who was mean on food. After tasting, she put down the spoon and took a glance over the four cakes, smilling at Mo Qianxue, “Thank you so much for the effort. Yet, I’m too old to have too much sweet food.” Then, she turned to Jiang, “Later, you take back one. When Chi goes back from school, let him have some together with Yan and Hui.”
nJiang replied, “Yes, mother.”
nMrs. Jia nodded and turned to Yao, “You take back one. When Rui comes back from work, let him and Qi have some too.”
nYao replied, “Yes. I’ll serve our second lord and Qi to eat it.”
nMrs. Jia nodded again and shifted her gaze back at the cake, as if talking to herself, “Save one for master. He doesn’t have a good appetite recently. I guess he’ll like such a soft and sweet cake.”
nJust in a moment, Mrs. Jia had arranged the future of the cakes. She was doing Mo Qianxue a favor in pleasing everyone. Of course Mo Qianxue understood it and was quite grateful, saying with worry, “A good arrangement mother has made. It’s my bad that I didn’t make too many…”
nMrs. Jia smiled and pointed at the aunts serving around, “Aunt Zhang, let the girls take over plates and share this cake. I hope everyone can have a taste of my daughter’s delicious cake.”
nWhen mentioning daughter, Mrs. Jia looked very proud, which make Mo Qianxue feel closer to her.
n“Madam is sharp-eyed. The daughter you recognize can’t be bad.” Aunt Zhang echoed with a smile and then left, passing down the order.
nMrs. Jia stroked Mo Qianxue’s hand and joked, “Qianxue, my taste is going to be picky by your cakes. I’m afraid I won’t like other refreshments in the future…”
nMo Qianxue held back and played cute, “Then mom, don’t dislike me if I visit you more often later!”
nSuch intimate movement and sweet words turned Mrs. Jia’s smiling eyes into curves, “I’ll be more than happy…”
nJiang smiled and chimed with, “Yes. Mother has been looking forward to seeing Qianxue for years. Please visit us more often.”
nYao also added, “Yes, Qianxue, I also hopes you can visit us more often.”
n“…”
nThe scene was instantly full of joy, and smiles rippled in the thermal pavilion.
nMo Qianxue was a little touched because they really made her feel at home. She cherished Mrs. Jia’s caring. In Jiang and Yao, there was not the mean manner that displayed by other women. They treated her nicely, with neither flattery nor jealousy nor satire.
nThe three daughters of them sat there quietly with smiles. There weren’t any wrinkles on their clothes, which must be new that they wore specially for today.
nThe eldest of them was Jia Wanhua, seventeen years old and just got engaged. In a few days, the wedding would be held. The man was a humble scholar in the Academy.
nIt was said that the man had a good character and learnings. She would marry him as his legal wife.
nHe was humble, only relative to a huge noble family. The scholars that could be employed by the Academy mostly came from a well-off family.
nThe other two girls, Wanruo and Wanru, were of similar age to Mo Qianxue. One just turned fifteen years old, and the other would turn fifteen in six months.
nBoth of them were quite pretty.
nJia Wanruo turned fifteen at the end of last year. Although she was a daughter of Mr. Jia, she hadn’t found a suitable man due to her identity as the daughter of a concubine.
nHer dark hair tucked up behind her head, leaving some short strands around her ears. The pair of watery eyes were as fresh as lotus flowers that just came out of water.
nJia Wanru, younger than Mo Qianxue, was a little chubby. When she smiled, there was a sweetness that instantly captured the eye.
nBoth of them looked meek and behaved themselves before Mrs. Jia. They were of good temperaments and daughters of aunt Li.
nAfter sharing the cake, the crowd of people were generous to praise again and again and chatted more with intimacy.
n
