Chapter 47 - : Fair, Cunning Reward
n
n
nHere wasn’t modern time. For an ancient man to accept that his wife had kissed a woman in public would be a very hard thing. He had reasons to be angry.
nHe must hate her now. He won’t accept her any more.
nSo disappointed! Her heart ached…
n
n
nMo Qianxue’s tears ran along her cheeks to damp the wiping sleeve and the hand on her neck. Only then did Ning Shaoqing’s attention was distracted from her lips to face.
nThe face looked in despair and distress, shining with tears…
nNing Shaoqing was stunned, and his hand stopped. What was he doing? He had promised to protect her and take good care of her…but now, he should be the bully who made her cry.
nFeeling that the hand on her neck loosened and the action of wiping her lips halted, Mo Qianxue opened her eyes, in which there was no more concern that had used to be, but vacancy. The formerly dark bright eyes were now filled with grayish despair.
n
n
nShe kept telling herself that this person was a conservative antique. If he dared to dislike her, then she also dared to leave…
n“Do you finish the wiping? Are they clean now?” Even if to leave, she must maintain her dignity. Shaking her head and push away his sleeve and the hand at her neck, Mo Qianxue said in a cold tone.
nFrom this familiar face, Ning Shaoqing didn’t find any trace of warmth. There was only cold, indifference that kept people thousands of miles of away, and even sneer.
nNing Shaoqing’s heart suddenly trembled.
n
n
nNo!
nThis was not what he wanted!
nNing Shaoqing panicked at once!
nFresh red blood oozed out of Mo Qianxue’s swollen lips, which were moving as she spoke.
nNing Shaoqing couldn’t bear to watch that again. He at once took Mo Qianxue into his arms, scared like never before.
nMo Qianxue’s body became stiff. The expected hug should come at this time. But, she didn’t want to be softhearted any more.
n
n
n“Let go of me! Behave yourself!” The tone was still cold in every word.
nNing Shaoqing remained speechless and trembling but hugged her tighter. The person in his arms was stiff, making him feel ominous.
nReally…
n“Let go of me! Give me a letter of divorce. I’ll leave and never tarnish any inch of land of your house.” It would be better to leave than to be disliked.
n“No.”
n“No?”
n“No! Unless I die!”
nDeadlock!
n
n
nHe admitted that he had overacted, but he didn’t think that was his fault. Her lips could only be touched by him. But now, he had never kissed her while she herself…
nMo Qianxue’s backbone remained stiff and straight. She stood there with a cold look but didn’t struggle anymore, which, however, made Ning Shaoqing even more flustered.
n“Sorry…” Ning Shaoqing really thought his behavior was wrong. What he should have done was to throw a stone to kill that woman whom Mo Qianxue had kissed, not come back and wipe Mo Qianxue’s mouth.
nHe was really wrong. Now he regretted it. Unfortunately, Mo Qianxue couldn’t read his mind. By only hearing his apology, she felt delighted as if the world instantly turned bright and beautiful again.
nIn fact, on saying the word “divorce”, Mo Qianxue could feel her heart shivering, though she looked impassive, and suddenly became scared, fearing that he would really hate her and that he would agree at once on his awkward personality.
nSeeing that Ning Shaoqing so panicked, she found that she misunderstood him. The temporary feeling of loss and despair disappear, and she even felt complacent.
nKnowing that to herself, she didn’t compromise verbally, “Don’t you hate me? Accusing me of having no women’s virtue and being shameless…”
n“I was just too mad.”
n“You clearly hated me…”
n“No! Never!”
n“You did…um…”
nThe thin traces of bloodstain turned denser as Mo Qianxue’s mouth opened and moved. The scarlet color seemed to stimulate certain nerves of Ning Shaoqing. He couldn’t help bowing his head and kissing her to block the words she was going to say.
nMo Qianxue’s mouth had been heated and aching and thirsty. Now it was suddenly wrapped up by a pair of soft moist lips, so her brain momentarily went blank because of the unspeakable comfort. Her initial reaction was to suck and swallow. Her enthusiasm encouraged Ning Shaoqing, whose eyes were lit up, to be darer to gently and meticulously lick away the blood on her lips.
n
n
nHe wanted to tell that he didn’t hate her. He was just jealous.
nYes, he was jealous. Madly jealous!
nThe blood on Mo Qianxue’s mouth kept reminding him of how rude he had been and how hard he had hurt her.
nNing Shaoqing lingeringly licked and gently bit the lips while Mo Qianxue recovered from the blankness. She shouldn’t be that shameless that in the last second, she was asking for a letter of divorce and the next second, she was exchanging slaver with him.
nHeaven.
nPlease forgive her. She was too thirsty.
nPushing away Ning Shaoqing, Mo Qianxue flushed and cleared her throat, “Actually, I wasn’t kissing the woman. She was in danger, and I happen to know first aid. I was just blowing some air to her.”
nAlthough Ning Shaoqing wasn’t angry any more, it would be better to give him a clear explanation.
nHe couldn’t understand CPR. Just tell him in plain words.
nNing Shaoqing remembered that situation at the time. He was a well-informed person, and actually he had guessed the reason, but he just couldn’t convince himself.
n“Don’t do that again…”
n“Um?”
n“Don’t be mad at me again.” Ning Shaoqing changed his speech in time.
nMo Qianxue was very satisfied with his attitude, but she still pretended to be unhappy, pulling her little face, “It’s okay that I don’t be mad at you again, but…”
n“Go ahead…” Seeing that things could be made up for and the girl in his heart returned bright, he would try to get stars in the sky high above if she asked.
nLooking at Ning Shaoqing’s incomparably soft lips, Mo Qianxue’s eyes flashed with cunningness, and standing up on her toes, she quickly pecked at them.
n“Ah…you…”
nA fascinating scolding echoed in the yard of Ning family.
nHe had thought that she wanted to kiss him…but there was only pain on his lips…
nNing Shaoqing, with a red face, touched the burning lips with his hand and found a red peony blossoming in it. This woman…this woman should bite his lips.
nMo Qianxue, on the other hand, walked out of the living room with a bright smile on her face and a pair of shining giggling eyes. She touched her lips. The ghost of red blood was either hers or his.
nHe wiped her mouth and she bit his lips.
nVery fair!
n
