n“Not bad. Looks like we have a few promising candidates in Limestone City this year,” one of the guys sitting in the VIP box commented.
n“That guy must be hiding his power,” the other guy said. “His power is as strong as a Spirit Cultivating Ninth Realm warrior. It’s really rare for participants stronger than the Sixth Realm to appear in the Limestone City.”
nThe participants for this year’s tournament were stronger than previous tournaments.
nYe Hou lay on the ground after being sent flying away by a finger flick. He looked around and could feel himself being looked down on.
nYe Mo used to be a no one, yet he has grown to be able to defeat him with just a flick of his finger.
nFilled with rage, Ye Hou quickly got up and charged towards the arena. He drew his sword and waved it around as five Sword Projections flickered. As his red energy seeped out, the projections merged into one huge sword and came down towards Ye Mo.
nYe Mo stood on the stage without moving an inch as the sword hit him.
nBoom!
nYe Mo shook a little, and the projection disappeared.
n“So this is the Six Pillars Sword Style? It’s so weak!” Ye Mo insulted.
n“How is this possible!’ Ye Hou roared. “How could you take on my most powerful attack without a scratch!”
nYe Hou was stunned by the fact that Ye Mo was unaffected by his attack and took a few steps back. He suddenly lost his footing and fell from the seven-feet wide arena.
nThe crowd looked at Ye Mo in awe. They couldn’t believe that he withstood an attack from a warrior that was on the same level at him without taking any damage. Even though a warrior’s defense increased as their level increased, most warriors were still not sturdy enough to take on a full frontal attack from another warrior on the same level.

n“Is there anyone who wants to challenge me?” Ye Mo’s voice rang from the arena.
nNot one participant dared to challenge him after he’d shown his true power, and he got the last spot in the next round.
n“Since there are no more challenger, I will announce the results!” Qin Hao said. “Ye Changsheng, Ye Mo, Qin Tianmu, Leng Feng, and Leng Leng will be qualified to enter one of the Three Major Alliances. We’ll proceed to the final duel in a short moment. The first and second place for the duel will be rewarded with badges from the Qingyun Alliance, the third place will be awarded a badge from the Wushuang Alliance, and the Fourth and Fifth place will be awarded badges from the Tiandi Alliance.”
n“My sister and I will forfeit from the final round,” Leng Feng announced on his arena.
nLeng Feng wanted to stay with his sister, and since they had no hopes to enter the Qingyun Alliance, they could only enter the Tiandi Alliance. The easiest way for them to do that was to forfeit first and get the last two places.
nQin Tianmu had also forfeited from the match as he wasn’t sure if he could win against Ye Changsheng or Ye Mo. He was awarded the badge from the Wushuang Alliance.
nWith that, Ye Mo and Ye Changsheng both got into the Qingyun Alliance without any dispute.
nYet they still had to fight each other. That was what Ye Mo had suggested. To Ye Mo, it was not a fight for glory but a fight to prove that he had become stronger than his father since Ye Qin defeated the second place challenger of his time without breaking a sweat.
nYe Mo also wanted to achieve the same feat; he wanted to let Ye Kuang see the mistake that he’d made, that Ye Kuang had chased away the best disciple that the Ye Clan had ever produced.
n“Ye Changsheng, let’s fight!” Ye Mo shouted from his arena.
nThe two guys from both the Wushuang and Tiandi Alliances were looking at Ye Mo with interest.
nYet, Yao Yue had different opinions about them.
n“Youngsters!” she scolded. “What’s there to fight when they’ve already won the first two places?”
n“But isn’t this a chance to see who’s stronger?”
nYe Changsheng looked at Ye Mo from his stage. The power Ye Mo had shown when he defeated Ye Hou did really surprise Ye Changsheng, but it wasn’t enough for Ye Changsheng to pay attention to him.
nYe Changsheng jumped onto Ye Mo’s stage as he tried to hide his smile.
n“Ye Mo, you’ve grown stronger than I could have ever imagined,” Ye Changsheng said. “But I’m still stronger than you, and I’m still going to lose to you on purpose because someone is waiting to kill you.”
nJust as Ye Changsheng finished his sentence, Ye Mo could feel a killing intent locked onto him. It was from Man Qi who was sitting far away from him.
n“Lose to me on purpose?” Ye Mo almost laughed. “I never thought that you could advance to the Ninth Realm in such a short time. You must’ve had someone powerful helping you out. Not bad, not bad at all.”
n“Shut the hell up!” Ye Changsheng shouted as he pulled out a purple sword. The shine from the sword proved that it was not the average weapon people could get their hands on. “Let me tell you the truth. I was learning under one of the Union Chiefs in Qingyun Alliance and have mastered a Spiritual Level Martial Technique. There’s no way you will defeat me.”
n“Oh, really?” Ye Mo mocked.
n“This is the power that you will never attain!” Ye Changsheng said. “Purple Blaze!”
nA heat that was as intense as a blaze sprouted from Ye Changsheng’s body. A huge purple fireball appeared on the tip on his blade, a fireball as hot as a sun.
nIt was as if the sun was slowly creeping towards the earth.
nYet, Ye Changsheng did not use all of his power. He was afraid that Ye Mo might not be able to withstand it.
nJust as Ye Changsheng was about to unleash his attack, the Formation-Breaking Spear appeared in Ye Mo’s hand.
nWithout any hesitation, Ye Mo thrust his spear forward. The thrust was normal, yet a Spear Projection appeared from it.
nThe projection wasn’t sharp nor strong but filled with rage and bloodthirst.
nWith just a normal thrust from Ye Mo, all of the aura, the heat, and the power that Ye Changsheng was unleashing disappeared in an instant, like snow melting instantly.
nThe trustrst was merged with the Will of the Sky Blood Spear. It was normal, but Ye Changsheng could feel wandering souls and demons screaming beside him.
nThe Purple Blaze cracked and broke into small embers that flew all around in different directions as Ye Changsheng was sent flying away.
n“Ye Changsheng,” Ye Mo said coldly. “Even if you’d used all your power, you could never withstand my attack.”
