nClicking on the General Skill tab showed a myriad assortment of different skills.

nLearning all these skills would give anyone so much help, but the shortage of skill points made it imperative to choose only the ones that were the most beneficial.

nThe (3

/3) indicated that a skill maxed out at 3 levels, while (1

/1) indicated that a skill maxed out at level 1.

nI already knew about the skills in the first section and scrolled past, but the skills below that I’d never heard of caught my eye.

n“There were these kinds of skills, too?”

nI selected the Increase Accessory Slot skill.

nIncrease accessory slot (1

/1), (passive)

nOpens up a new slot on an accessory. Usable only on rings and bracelets.

nSkill points required: 1

nGolden rings required: 7,875,000,000

nDue to the special reward rule, 0 golden rings are required.

n“What!”

nThe description was simple enough, but that was a lot of information.

nTo be able to open up a new slot on an accessory…

nAmulets had one slot, earrings and bracelets had two, and a belt had eight.

nIt was as helpful as the amount of slots you had.

nIncreasing eight slots to nine didn’t seem that helpful at first, but increasing the number of slots by equipping another ring or too was instrumental!

nThis was like cheating, to be honest!

n“This price is damn scary, too. It costs nearly 7.9 billion…”

nThe cost made it hard for me to imagine that there was someone with this skill during my past life.

nAll these skills that I had never seen before were revealed before me because right now, they were free and I had 20 skill points to use.

nI clicked on the other skills below.

nBoost Equipped Item Effects (3

/3), (active)

nBoosts the effects of a selected item. After a cooldown time of 1 month, a new item can be chosen to take the effect of the skill.

nLevel 1 – Boost the effect of one item by 5%

nLevel 2 – Boost the effects of two items by 7% each

nLevel 3 – Boost the effects of three items by 10% each

nRequired skill points: 1

nRequired golden rings: 1,940,000,000

nDue to the special reward rule, 0 golden rings are required.

nRecover Death Penalty (1

/1), (active)

nRecover penalty received upon death. Usable once every 10 days. Usage limited by 5.

nRequired skill points: 2

nRequired golden rings: 3,000,000,000

nDue to the special reward rule, 0 golden rings are required.

n“Whoa…”

nI practically drooled over these skills. During my previous life, I had never even heard of these general skills!

nThis death penalty recovery enticed me the most. If I had this, I would never have to be afraid of dying ever again!

nI could hunt in dangerous areas, and challenge stronger people without fear.

n“No. I still need to check out that skill. Search for skill: Unrivaled.”

nI didn’t see it below on the list, so I decided to search for it instead.

nSearched: Unrivaled

nUnrivaled (1

/1), (passive)

nThe skill showed up on a new menu. I clicked it right away.

nUnrivaled (1

/1), (passive)

nThis is a skill designed to give one an advantage over others. Unrivaled is a skill available to only 114 people. Once all 114 ‘Unrivaled’ skills have been acquired, this skill will not be available to anyone else unless a previous holder removes it.

nAcquiring Unrivaled increases all stats by 1000 points each. This skill grants another 10 stat points upon leveling up. (This effect is not retroactive.)

nImmune to all status depreciation

nDecrease damage received by deities by 50%

nRequired skill points: 20

nRequired golden rings: 2,430,000,000

nDue to the special reward rule, 0 golden rings are required.

nUnrivaled comes with 3 options to choose from.

nThe first Unrivaled: Increase damage and accuracy against deities by 25%

n77th Unrivaled: Decrease incoming damage received by deities by 50%

nThe last Unrivaled: Increase damage and accuracy against deities by 15% and decrease incoming damage received by deities by 15%

n“…!!!”

nI stood there, mouth wide open, staring at the godly effects of the ‘Unrivaled’ skill.

nI may have known the ‘Unrivaled’ skill existed, but a normal deva like me could never learn what the valuable info about the skill was. I couldn’t help but be shocked looking at it all for the first time.

n“This… all looks great, but if I think about, it’s a pretty risky choice, isn’t it?”

nIt cost more than 2.4 billion golden rings, and required all 20 of my skill points!

nI was able to receive 20 skill points at level 0 for becoming the first deva, but anyone one else would have to save for 500 levels to get to that point, and they would even have to save up 2.4 billion golden rings to even hope to buy this skill!

n
