Chapter 256 - Slaughter

nLu Xuan saw boundless blood energies in the pool of blood below, surging into the vampires’ bodies and rejuvenating their powers.

nTo put it precisely, the ancestral land of those vampires had become a small world on its own.

nThat small world itself had the power to resist the power of laws governing the entire planet.

nAs such, one could recover some bit of power above the planet’s limit for a brief period of time within that small world.

nThat was how the sects and clans that isolated themselves from the world maintained their powers.

nIn comparison to many others, the ancestral land of the vampires was far more inferior and of a far smaller area. Even though it had the power to resist the power of laws governing the planet, said power could only be maintained for brief moments and nowhere near lasting long enough.

nThe vampires would have been able to rule the world in the era of total Spirit Qi dissipation otherwise.

nThe vampires finally relocated the ancestral land of the bloodkin within the eight days Lu Xuan spent hunting Lilith, laying down that lethal trap.

nAll of that was done with the expressed purpose of killing Lu Xuan, their sworn and very difficult enemy.

nOne could say that the vampires had truly come to make use of their true hidden trump card of resources. Those affiliated forces popping up in Huaxia and Russia before were but the tip of the iceberg in comparison.

nThose affiliated forces had only been that of the outer circle, which were orders of magnitude more inferior compared to the true core powers of the vampires.

nWhat was seen at the moment was the true core powers that served as the lifeline of the Vampiric Empire, which was so formidable that even the US government became very wary of.

nAll of that power was at the moment, brought to the fore.

nEven Lilith had become a lot more powerful under the support of their ancestral land. While she had yet to reach beyond the Celestial Realm, she was nonetheless at the pinnacle of that realm.

nHer powers at least doubled when compared to what was seen before. To put it precisely, it was the restoration of her powers that was doubled.

n“I’ve heard that other than you and Dracula, there is yet another ancestor to you vamps, a man named Cain. Where is he, by the way? It’d be best for him to show up here as well, as that means I can take you all out in one go.”

nLu Xuan remained unfazed in the face of the lineup he was about to fight.

n“Such a lineup is already deemed grand enough to kill the likes of you. There wouldn’t be any need for him to do anything.” Lilith glared at Lu Xuan and smirked as she spoke.

n“Well, it’d be quite a shame that I couldn’t take you all out at once then.”

nLu Xuan chuckled, and a tinge of coldness was seen in his eyes.

n“Your death is near, and yet, your big mouth runs all the same. I guess that is how you Huaxians put it, no?”

nLilith regained her confidence.

nShe had been so severely beaten by Lu Xuan in the past eight days that she was about to get traumatized.

nShe had never faced someone as terrifying as Lu Xuan, who was able to beat her using almost only one hand. He went after her for eight days and nights, destroying the affiliated forces of the vampires both in Huaxia and Russia along the way.

nAt the moment, she was finally able to regain her confidence and get rid of that wretched human before her once and for all.

nShoop.

nA shadow appeared right beside Lu Xuan all of a sudden, lashing out at him with a claw in an instant.

nThe terrifying power of the claw brought a terrifying gust of wind, which headed straight for Lu Xuan’s head.

nThe claw squarely hit Lu Xuan. It was capable of crushing his skills at once.

nBoom!

nThose vampires did not see what they had anticipated would happen, but a rumble was heard, and Lu Xuan’s hand was clamping down on the neck of a vampire, which was then snapped.

nAll of that happened in an instant. A vampire at the Celestial Realm ended up having their neck snapped by Lu Xuan.

nDead silence loomed all over the place.

nAll of the other vampires were stunned before flashing ferocious expressions, baring their fangs. It looked as furious beasts with bloodshot eyes were on Lu Xuan, who were all very eager to go up and kill him right away.

n“Do it!” Lilith roared, and those vampires seemed to launch like streaks of blood-red shadows, heading straight for Lu Xuan.

nBoom!

nLu Xuan made his move right away, disappearing from where he stood.

nAll manner of blood energy-powered flashes were brought down on the place he stood. But at that moment, he disappeared.

nHe appeared right behind one of the vampires at the very next second, bringing a kick down on the head of that vampire.

nThe head of that vampire was blown off right away, torn right off of its body.

nThe fiery battle began instantaneously.

nThe vampires had always been known for their speed, yet Lu Xuan’s speed was even more terrifying than the vampires in that department.

nLu Xuan flickered in and out of existence, with every emergence taking down a vampire.

nLu Xuan remained unfazed throughout the fight. It was as if he was fighting common Invincible Vajras instead of vampires at Celestial Realm.

nIt was all child’s play to him, and he did not need more than one move to deal with one vampire.

nHe killed over 30 vampires consecutively and without breaking a sweat. He made it all look like a walk in the park.

nIt was only then that those vampires finally realized just how impossibly frightening and effective Lu Xuan was at killing their own.

nIt looked as if he was cutting weed with a lawnmower instead of killing Celestial Realm beings.

nThat was what made him so frightening.

nThey wondered since when Celestials became so frail that they were unable to take even a single hit.

nWorse still, the enemy was slaughtering them in their ancestral land.

nIn an ancestral land, the power of any enemy would supposedly be suppressed while the power of those of the land was boosted.

nYet, none of the vampires proved to be a match to Lu Xuan. Everything looked so insanely unreal that Lu Xuan looked more like a monster to them.

nIt was especially so in the case of Lilith. All that trauma she suffered when being hunted by Lu Xuan for the past eight days surfaced right there and then. It was as if she was able to see herself being hunted down like a dog all over again.

nThe remaining vampires were all stunned, and they gathered around frantically, becoming reluctant to give Lu Xuan any chance of taking them out one by one.

n“How boring, and I’m just about to get warmed up,” Lu Xuan commented plainly.

n“If this is all you vampires got while being in your ancestral land, then get prepared to be annihilated all at once,” Lu Xuan smirked and continued.

n“What did you say?” Lilith’s pupils contracted somewhat, and she shrieked.

n“I’m just saying that every single one of you can go to hell!” Lu Xuan roared and launched himself into the air, appearing high in the air in an instant.

nUnlike his previous walk-in-the-park state just moments ago, he was, at the moment, bursting with terrifying aura of Spiritual Qi all over him, with every single pore gushing Spiritual Qi.

nThat power of his, which was at least ten times more terrifying than the usual Celestial Realm being, was brought to the very fore and becoming very apparent at the moment.

nBoundless Spiritual Qi coiled around his arm and materialized into an impossibly huge golden dragon, which he then blasted forward with.

n…

n
