Chapter 129

nChapter 129: Chapter 129
nHo Sung Lee, who was keeping an eye on the monster in nervousness, was so in shock that he simply blinked with his jaw dropped.
nAlong with Bowl’s snicker, the undead devils grew distant before disappearing into the ground or wall.
nHo Sung Lee gulped and looked back at Bowl.
nHe was sweating buckets.
n“Pick up the item, son of a bitch. You don’t have to give this to Master. You eat it.”
n
n
nBowl then rode on his shadow board and spun around Ho Sung Lee.
n“Huh? Oh, okay! Thanks.”
nHo Sung Lee picked up the item on the ground while dripping in sweat.
n‘Damn it…’
nHe felt deeply ashamed while picking up the item from the ground.
nEver since he was able to make devils into the undead, Bowl became more powerful than ever before.
nIt no longer seemed like he could catch up to Bowl’s fighting ability.
nHo Sung Lee hung his head in disappointment and followed Bowl.
nThanks to Bowl, they managed to leave the tower safely, but on the inside, Ho Sung Lee felt helpless.
n***
n
n
nHe got into the water with Bowl.
nSince they were once late, Bowl dragged Ho Sung Lee on his shadow board.
nAs a result, Ho Sung Lee was able to get to shore safely without having to swim.
n“Thanks for your help, Bowl.”
nHo Sung Lee expressed his gratitude to Bowl. He squeezed out water from his clothes and then looked around.
nThere were hunters all over the assembly.
n“What’s going on here?”
nThe atmosphere had changed.
nIt could be sensed that the vibe of the assembly was completely different from before.
nHo Sung Lee thought strangely of this before he remembered Min Sung’s command.
n
n
nHe had a feeling that Min Sung Kang wouldn’t let him get away with being late again.
nHo Sung Lee hurried to find the car.
n“… Huh?”
nHe opened his mouth and rubbed his eyes.
n“Why isn’t it here?”
nHo Sung Lee knitted his brows.
nHe didn’t see the car that was supposed to be there.
nThe fast Lafararri was nowhere to be seen.
n“What’s wrong?
nBowl looked up at Ho Sung Lee and asked.
n
n
n“Our car’s not here. Why isn’t it here?”
nHo Sung Lee scratched his head in frustration and then went to the hunters at the assembly to ask where it went.
n“Did you see the car that was over there?”
nHo Sung Lee asked.
nOne of the hunters knew who Ho Sung Lee was and what happened to his car.
nHe was a witness.
n“Samchunkyo hunters came. 7 of them came to take the positions of the commanders, and one of those Samchunkyo hunters rode the car away.”
nIn response, Ho Sung Lee showed a shocked response and took out the keys from his pocket.
n“But the key’s right here…”
n“He was skilled. He unlocked the car and started it using some wires.”
n
n
nHo Sung Lee closed his eyes shut.
nThe stress he had been bottling up inside surfaced, and that made his head ache.
n“You don’t know where he went, do you?”
nThe hunter shook his head.
n“Okay, thank you.”
nHo Sung Lee bowed in greeting and then sighed deeply.
n“Bowl, can you find him?”
nHo Sung Lee looked down at Bowl and asked.
nBowl showed no response.
nHe was already using one of his dark magic to find the car.
nHo Sung Lee watched Bowl in silence.
nA moment later.
nBowl pointed in front of him with his narrow bone finger.
n“That way. Follow me, son of a bitch.”
nBowl rode his shadow board and led the way.
nHo Sung Lee clenched down on his teeth.
n‘I hope nothing’s wrong…!’
n***
nOne of the 7 Samchunkyo hunters.
nHe was a man with narrow eyes, curly and long hair, and a thin physique.
nWang Wei banged the door shut and got out of the car.
nHe then got on the hood of the car and laid down.
n“… I’m just going to take over the commander position and do nothing. I can’t wait to fool around with the ladies and drink lots of alcohol, and no one’s going to scold me for it. Snicker.”
nThe assembly was bustling.
nSo he wanted to go to a quiet place and take a nap.
nWhile he enjoyed the cold breeze, he sensed something that made him feel uncomfortable.
nWang Wei jolted his eyes open and got up.
nHe then looked toward one direction.
nSomething was approaching.
nA moment later, a skeleton the size of a hand appeared.
nWang Wei looked at Ho Sung Lee and Bowl in front of him with an uncomfortable look on his face.
nHo Sung Lee was panting while grabbing his knees, and Bowl was staring at him with flames in his eyes.
n“… Who are you?”
nWang Wei stared at Ho Sung Lee and Bowl and asked.
nHo Sung Lee caught his breath and waved his hand.
n“Get off from there,” Ho Sung Lee said.
nHis language watch translated it for him.
nWang Wei sucked on his front teeth and then spat on the ground.
nAnd the spit landed right in front of Ho Sung Lee’s feet.
nHo Sung Lee stared at him as if he was insulted, and Wang Wei smiled and showed his yellow teeth.
n“Is this your car?”
nWang Wei pointed at Ho Sung Lee and asked.
nHo Sung Lee’s face grew red.
nHe was angry, but as long as he knew he was a Samchunkyo hunter, there was nothing he could do.
n“It is, so please get down. We’re in a hurry,” Ho Sung Lee responded in annoyance.
nIn response, Wang Wei took out a sword from his item window.
nHe spun the crude sword round and round.
n“You don’t seem to be from the assembly. Who are you? And what’s that monster?”
nHo Sung Lee closed his eyes and sighed.
n“The owner of that car is the Korean hunter, Min Sung Kang, and we’re just here to run an errand…”
nWang Wei snickered.
n“Oh, I’ve heard about that great Korean hunter. Apparently, he cleared up to the 9th floor of the tower. We checked the lights of the Black Tower.”
nHo Sung Lee glared.
nSeeing from his way of speaking, it didn’t sound like he was going to back down easily.
nHo Sung Lee’s head ached.
nSince Bowl was there, they could handle any average hunter, but the man in front of him was a Samchunkyo hunter.
nNot even Min Sung could attack him carelessly, and it didn’t seem like Samchunkyo would just let that happen.
n“Are you just going to stay there?”
nIn response to Ho Sung Lee’s question, Wang Wei grimaced.
n“Watch your tone.”
nOnce Wang Wei got off the hood, Ho Sung Lee clicked his tongue and took out the Death Knight Sword from his item window.
nSince he received a command from Min Sung Kang, he had to fight anyone that would get in his way.
nWang Wei smiled.
n“You have guts, Korean man.”
nWang Wei’s sword gave off a blue Aura as it made swishing sounds.
nHo Sung Lee gulped.
nWhat would happen if they faced off?
nJust thinking about it made him nervous.
nWang Wei’s force was unmatched.
nHe felt nervous at the thought that that sword could easily slice his body in half.
nAs soon as Wang Wei took a step forward.
nSwoosh, swoosh, swoosh!
nDark figures appeared.
nThe three tall men wearing black robes surrounded Wang Wei.
n“Heukrangdae…”
nWang Wei spoke softly with a bothered look in his eyes.
n“We’ve been ordered to keep our hands off of anyone related to Min Sung Kang.”
nOne of the three men in black robes spoke in a ringing voice.
nIn response, Wang Wei breathed sharply.
nHo Sung Lee, who was keeping an eye on Wang Wei, saw him put his sword back into his item window and let out a sigh of relief.
nWang Wei walked and stood in front of Ho Sung Lee.
nMeanwhile, Heukrangdae was watching.
n“I’ll see you again soon.”
nIn response, Ho Sung Lee laughed bitterly.
n“Let me warn you. It’ s best that you don’t.”
nWang Wei laughed.
n“What?”
n“I’m saying this for your own good. I’ve already seen people go down countless…”
nRight before Wang Wei shot an Aura from his hand toward Ho Sung Lee.
nSwoosh, swoosh, swoosh!
nHeukrangdae appeared right in front of Wang Wei.
n“Stop,” the three of them said simultaneously.
nWang Wei looked to the ground and laughed.
n“Ugh, these bastards. You’re so noisy.”
nWang Wei spat on the ground and then laughed at Ho Sung Lee.
n“See you around.”
nHe then walked off.
nAs for Heukrangdae, they only disappeared once Wang Wei grew distant.
nThey left so quickly that it looked like they teleported.
nAs soon as they left, Ho Sung Lee looked at the car and sighed.
n“Fuck, I can’t believe I had the guts to face off against Samchunkyo. Wow. I can’t believe this.”
nHo Sung Lee clicked his tongue and walked toward the parked car.
nBowl followed behind him.
n***
n“We wasted a lot of time because of that thug.”
nHo Sung Lee parked at a large market and got out of the car.
nBowl ran behind Ho Sung Lee. He climbed up his clothes and then sat on his shoulder.
n“Get down,” Ho Sung Lee said while glaring, but Bowl pretended not to hear him and looked around.
nHo Sung Lee called Woong Jang as he entered the market.
nSince he had already texted him, Woong Jang answered right away.
nHello, Ho Sung.
n“Hello, Sir. I’m at the market now.”
nHo Sung Lee walked toward the food corner while talking on the phone.
nSince the market was big, he was able to get just about any food material he needed.
n“I have to cook, but I was wondering what I can make that’s easy and delicious. Oh, there’s a Korean section! Wow, that’s crazy. This place is great.”
nIt’s not like you only have to make one dish. You have to make all sorts of things.
n“That’s true.”
nFirst of all, you need a pack of eggs.
nHo Sung Lee bought what Woong Jang suggested.
nOnce he picked all of his materials, he went to find a frying pan and a pot.
nThanks to Woong Jang, he was able to finish his shopping in no time.
nThe only problem was that he bought so much that his item window was full.
nHe figured he could just go back one way or another and paid for his purchases.
n
