Chapter 312

nMin Sung thought Rucifer seemed familiar, and it was only a moment later that he realized who he was.
nHe was the blonde man that harassed him in his dreams.
n“Why is the owner of Heaven giving off magic energy like this?”
nMin Sung asked Rucifer.
n“Because I abandoned Heaven and chose the Demonic Realm.”
nRucifer’s answer was simple.
nMin Sung couldn’t understand.
nHe was currently the devil king of the Demonic Realm.
nBut Rucifer abandoned Heaven and chose the Demonic Realm? On top of that, he was giving off magic energy and the energy he gave off was quite hostile.
nMin Sung was certain that something was going on that he didn’t know about.
n“I’m curious to know the reason.”
nHe didn’t ask with much anticipation, but Rucifer willingly answered him in a friendly manner.
n“I unleashed the former owner of the Demonic Realm, Hellcard from his seal. I’m thinking of making him into the owner of the Demonic Realm and rewrite history.”
n“Rewrite history?”
n“Rule over Heaven. Oh, and the human world, too,” responded Rucifer with a smile.
n“Did you come over to the Demonic Realm because Hellcard is strong? Or were you abandoned by Heaven?”
nMin Sung’s question was out of curiosity as well as the intent to provoke him.
nAs soon as Rucifer clapped his hands, thunder and lightning went off before a window of light appeared on his hands.
nIn the window that Rucifer grasped, a powerful energy with great magic energy wavered.
n“Gods also have fates. And me, Rucifer, also has a fate. And that is to take over the entire universe. That is my fate.”
nRucifer smiled with sparkling eyes.
nHis smile was filled with greedy ambition.
nMin Sung smiled bitterly at Rucifer.
n“I’m just surprised that the gods are crueler than humans.”
nRucifer sighed at Min Sung.
n“Seeing your face makes it hard for me to not tell you the truth.”
nThe mention of the truth made Min Sung look at Rucifer with a stiffened face.
nRucifer smiled at Min Sung.
n“Aren’t you curious to find out why you ended up in the Demonic Realm, why you spent all that time there, and why you returned to the human world?”
nMin Sung’s eyes widened.
nHis dilated pupils contained the reflection of Rucifer.
n“What… are you talking about?”
nMin Sung asked with a raging voice.
nRucifer snickered like a little kid.
n“You really don’t know?”
nHis eyes and lips bent into a smile.
nHis smile felt disgusting.
nHe felt sickened by it.
nKaboom!
nA powerful magic energy exploded in all directions from Min Sung’s body.
n“Tell me,” Min Sung threatened.
nRucifer, who was snickering, stopped laughing and nodded.
n“It was all a part of my plan, but you knew that much, right?”
nMin Sung ground his teeth.
nRucifer continued, “You coming to the Demonic Realm, and you going back to the human world was all a part of my plan. But you killing Veld without my help wasn’t a part of it. But I’ll commend you for it. Thanks to you, I had a good excuse to wake up Hellcard from his seal.”
nRucifer laughed and continued, “In order to escape the great god and take over the universe, I set up a plan. And in that process, I needed someone. And you were much more useful than I expected.”
n“…”
n“Thanks to you, I was able to prepare without being suspected by the great god. It’s all thanks to you. All of this.”
nRucifer smiled out of gratitude, and Min Sung wanted to rip his face off.
nThe thought of his painful 100 years all having been a part of Rucifer’s plan made Min Sung’s blood boil.
n“It’s time to prepare for war. You’re no longer useful to me… So that means it’s time you disappear.”
nMin Sung glared at Rucifer with the desire to kill.
nRucifer saw Min Sung’s eyes and snickered.
n“Didn’t you hear me? You’re useless now, so I’m going to throw you away now as a card. You’re not thinking of fighting back when you’re a mere object to me, are you? You can’t beat me. You’re nothing but an object that I used.”
nMin Sung glared at Rucifer and showed a crooked smile.
n“You’re acting like you’re all that when you’re just a lowly devil.”
nIn response to Min Sung’s remark, Rucifer’s smile faded away.
n“I’m a little sad to throw away the object I’ve been using though.”
nRucifer’s eyes lit up coldly.
n“It’s time to send you away.”
nRumble!
nWhile Min Sung and Rucifer faced off, the ground of the Demonic Realm shook like an earthquake.
nMin Sung stared at Rucifer and put powerful magic energy into his Gungnir S.
nMin Sung’s Gungnir S wriggled as if it was dying to fight.
n“The reason why you were so powerful despite being a mere human was all because of me, and it’s up to me to take it all back…”
n“You talk too much.”
nMin Sung refused to wait any longer and let go of his Gungnir S.
nThe Gungnir S spilled magic energy as it flew over toward Rucifer.
nUpon seeing the Gungnir S flying through the air, Rucifer laughed out of ridicule.
nRucifer didn’t use his own sword.
nHe then used his left hand to grab the Gungnir S that flew toward him.
nZapppppp!
nThe dark lightning zapped through Rucifer’s left arm, but Rucifer smiled as if it had no impact.
n“Is that it? I thought this was your best ability.”
nMin Sung clenched his teeth and controlled his magic energy.
nThe Gungnir S tried to wriggle out, but Rucifer’s grasp was so tight that it was unable to escape.
n“This is the Demonic Realm. Did you think you could use anything materialistic to defeat me?”
nRucifer’s voice rang like thunder, but Min Sung didn’t back down and charged toward him.
nAfter that, he threw his fist.
nThe force charged with magic energy flew toward Rucifer.
nPowwww!
nThe sound of the air being impacted could be heard, but Rucifer was simply pushed back.
nRucifer snickered and disappeared from Min Sung’s sight.
nAnd once he reappeared on top of Min Sung’s head, Rucifer stabbed down the Gungnir S in his hands upon Min Sung’s head.
nBut Min Sung reacted calmly.
nHe dodged Rucifer’s attack. He grabbed onto his Gunngir S and pushed Rucifer back.
nDespite having returned the Gungnir S back to Min Sung, his face still looked full of leisure.
nHe looked as if he believed he was playing around with Min Sung.
n“I know you don’t want to accept it, but this is your limit. It might be painful, but you must accept that you can’t go up any higher from here.”
nRucifer swung his sword of light.
nFlash!
nKabooom!
nA lightning more powerful than that of Min Sung charged toward Min Sung.
nSince he sensed that substantial power was charging his way, Min Sung immediately used his counter barrier ability.
nThe reflected force headed back in Rucifer’s direction.
nBut Rucifer must have predicted it because he teleported behind Min Sung.
n“You’re so pathetic.”
nRucifer stabbed Min Sung with his sword of light.
n“Ugh…”
nMin Sung spat out blood.
nDespair filled his head, and Min Sung immediately felt his body grow heavy.
nSlash!
nRucifer took out the sword of light back from Min Sung’s back.
nMin Sung wobbled around before plopping down on his knees.
nHe tried to get back up, but he had no strength in his legs.
nMin Sung stabbed his Gungnir S into the ground and turned around toward Rucifer.
nRucifer looked down at Min Sung who was on his knees and smiled.
n“I had a fun time thanks to you. I had fun watching you suffer in pain in the Demonic Realm, and when I saw you kill the devils and being happy when you returned to the human world, I had fun watching. I’ve always been watching you.”
nRucifer smiled.
nMin Sung continued to spit out blood, but he kept his eyes on Rucifer.
nRucifer looked at Min Sung and burst into laughter.
n“How do you feel? How does it feel to surrender after winning time and time again? How does it feel to know that all of your wins were because of me? Can you accept that reality?”
nMin Sung clenched down on his teeth and charged toward Rucifer with his Gungnir S.
nThe dark magic energy pierced through the ground, and it flew over to Rucifer.
nUpon seeing that, Rucifer opened his eyes wide, but he scoffed at the same time.
nRucifer swung his sword of light and made Min Sung’s magic energy disappear into thin air.
nThe magic energy faded away like fog, but the Gungnir S pierced through it head-on.
nAnd Rucifer turned his head to dodge it.
nAs a result, the Gungnir S slid past Rucifer’s face.
nRucifer then stepped his sword of light into Min Sung’s chest.
nSlash!
nMin Sung dropped his jaw, and large amounts of blood gushed out.
nRucifer snickered and let go of his sword of light.
nWith the sword of light in his chest, Min Sung walked backward and landed on his butt.
nBlood continued to pour out of Min Sung’s open mouth.
nRucifer was too powerful for him to handle.
nHe wasn’t someone he could defeat with mindset alone.
nThe difference was like the ground and the sky.
n“Just be honored that I used you. No need to feel wronged. You came up fairly high for a mere human. So you should have no regrets, right?”
nRucifer walked over. He looked down at Min Sung and spoke in a friendly voice.
nMin Sung’s eyes began to fade away.
nHe was losing sight.
nRucifer took out his sword of light.
nAs a result, Min Sung’s body shook.
nRucifer looked down at Min Sung and grinned.
n“It’s been fun, my muse.”
nJust before Rucifer lowered his sword of light…
nThe dark sky of the Demonic Realm flashed with white light.
nRucifer looked up at the sky with a startled face.
n
