nChapter 711: Chapter 707: Tiffany Gets Kidnapped

nRichelle Dunn took over all the work at the Lewis Group recently, giving Roy Lewis enough time and energy to sprint full speed ahead.

nAfter staying busy with Roy for a while, Nathan Caroule withdrew most of his energy and returned to the Lewis Group business.

n“Nathan, are you and Delroy the ones following Aldo Lewis?”

nRichelle learned from the old housekeeper last night that Alexander Lewis had run away.

nAs to where he had run off to, the old housekeeper said the old man hadn’t found him yet.

nThis matter wasn’t supposed to concern Richelle.

nBut Roy was too preoccupied recently to care about anything else, and she was worried that before the old man found Alexander, he would cause trouble.

nSo, she wanted to see if Nathan and Delroy had any idea of Alexander’s whereabouts.

nNathan didn’t know Alexander had run away, so he only said,

n“Yes, we’ve got several people watching him, and we’re collecting evidence now, ready to strike at the right moment.”

nRichelle let out a hum, “Last night, the old housekeeper told me secretly that Alexander had run away. The old man probably wants to give him another chance, so he sent people to look for him privately. You and Delroy should be on guard too. If you find him, bring him back to the old man.”

nNathan looked at her seriously, “You want to pretend you don’t know about this, right?”

nRichelle nodded, “Yes, the old man always felt guilty about me, but there’s no need for that. I’ve talked to Roy about this before, but if the old man insists on feeling guilty, I’ll pretend to be ignorant, so he won’t feel bad.”

nNathan nodded decisively, “Alright, I’ll talk to Delroy and have the people watching Aldo keep an eye on Alexander’s whereabouts.”

nThe old man kept Alexander confined in the old house for fear that he would join forces with Aldo.

nNow that he had run away, the likelihood was that he had gone to look for Aldo.

nHowever, before Nathan had any news, Alexander sent a “big gift” to Richelle.

nAround 3 o’clock in the afternoon, Richelle suddenly received a call from the principal.

n“Dr. Dunn, something terrible happened—Tifanny Dunn has been taken hostage to the top floor of the school building!”

nRichelle, who was in a meeting, abruptly changed her expression and hurriedly got up, running out the door.

n“Principal, please call the police. I’ll be right there.”

nNathan, who was in the meeting with Richelle, heard the words “principal” and “police” and saw Richelle’s anxious behavior. He quickly gestured to pause the meeting, moved it to a later date, and ran out the door as well.

nWhen he caught up to Richelle, he said, “Dr. Dunn…”

nSeeing him catch up, Richelle told him urgently with a worried look on her face,

n“Someone has taken Tifanny hostage to the top floor of the teaching building. We suspect it’s Alexander!”

n“Damn it!”

nNathan cursed, “Wait for me. I’ll go with you.”

nHe ran back to his office to grab something and then hurried back to Richelle’s car.

nWhile in the car, Richelle called the principal once more.

n“Dr. Dunn, Tifanny is still relatively calm, and the kidnapper seems calm, too. They’re sitting on the top floor, and he says he wants to see you…”

nRichelle regretted and blamed herself, how could she not have thought that besides cooperating with Aldo, Alexander might take a desperate gamble and go after the kids?

nRichelle tried to stay calm as much as possible.

n“Principal, please try to calm the kidnapper’s emotions, and try to satisfy any requests he makes for now!”

nTifanny was only five years old, a lovely little girl. Could Alexander really go through with this?

nRichelle was furious, but at the moment, anger couldn’t solve the problem, nor rescue Tifanny.

n“Nathan, contact the bank now and ask them to reserve the maximum amount of cash to withdraw. Also, call the Lewis family’s pilot and tell him to fly a plane near the school, ready to go at any moment.”

nIf Alexander wanted to take the money and leave, Richelle would let him go first.

nAt least, this would ensure Tifanny’s safety.

nAs for Alexander, there would be time for revenge later!

nNathan nodded in agreement and then asked Richelle,

n“Aren’t we going to inform Roy?”

nRichelle frowned, “Do you think he could sit still at home if we told him?”

nThinking about it, Nathan agreed that given Roy’s love and care for Tifanny,

nIf Roy knew Tifanny had been taken hostage, he would definitely leave everything behind and fight Alexander to the death.

n“But Tifanny is in great danger right now…”

nNathan admitted he didn’t have Roy’s intelligence and strategy, but this was about Tifanny’s safety, and there couldn’t be any mistakes.

nRichelle thought for a moment, knowing the matter involved their beloved daughter. If they didn’t tell Roy, he’d be crazy once he found out.

n“You go ahead and do what I just arranged. I’ll call Roy.”

nThe call connected quickly, and Richelle prepared Roy for the news,

n“Roy, you’ll be furious when you hear this, but promise me you won’t act recklessly.”

nRoy responded solemnly, “I promise; tell me.”

nRichelle took a deep breath, “Alexander has taken Tifanny hostage; they’re on the top floor of the teaching building…”

n“Damn it, I’ll kill him!”

nThe vicious rage in Roy’s voice was accompanied by the sound of a chair being knocked over, all racing into Richelle’s ears.
