Chapter 21 - Dogfight
n

n‘It was weird.’
nThe opponent’s movements weren’t normal. He was clearly imaging an opponent of something else entirely. That’s when he thought maybe Changhun was imagining the fight against Dohyuk from his previous life.
n“…”
nChanghun realized that his enemy was not the Great Emperor. It was a different monster entirely. But it was too late. His Gauntlet of the Fire Demon did give him coins for successful kills, but it could not heal him.
n“Did I win?” Dohyuk asked the angels.
n-Hmm.
nThey didn’t seem to object, but they didn’t declare a victory.
nChanghun had stood up.
n-Whoa
n-He stood up!
n-Way to go!
nThe angels cheered for Changhun, but they were soon shocked.
n-Uh…
nThey knew it wasn’t Changhun who was moving his body.
n“Argh… ah… rg…”
nHe moaned in pain as his damaged bones and muscles began to distort to find their place.

n“…Trash?”
nMashiv finished speaking as he took control of Changhun’s body. Mashiv then turned to the angels.
n“This is my right. I will kill you all if you interrupt.”
n-….
n-….
nThe angels couldn’t respond. It wasn’t only because they were afraid of Mashiv. Mashiv did have the right to do so as he owned Changhun. It could have been seen as a god volunteering to fight on their follower’s behalf.
n“What is this?” Dohyuk spoke as he readied himself, “…Why can’t it end cleanly?”
n“I would’ve finished it with claiming my power and putting this fool’s spirit in hell if it wasn’t for…”
nMashiv, with its inverted colored eyes, looked at Dohyuuk.
n“Some trash with the seal of that ‘whore’ on the cheek was beating up my dog.”
n“…!”
nDohyuk rubbed his cheek, and Mashiv charged. It was a quick attack that sent Dohyuk flying backwards. He was able to land safely, but Mashiv’s hand was already in front of him, striking him again. And with it he said,
n“This should have been the result from the beginning.”
nMashiv began beating Dohyuk down; the violence was impossible for Dohyuk to avoid. The power still remained as it was still Changhun’s body, however, this was with the skill and experience of a god. When Mashiv stopped, Dohyuk was kneeling down. If it wasn’t for Mashiv holding onto his head, he would have fallen into the ground.
n“Not bad,” Mashiv commented as he watched Dohyuk. Even in his state, Dohyuk’s eye still embodied defiance or a will to survive.
n“…I will give you a chance.”
nMashiv tapped his cheek.
n“Rip off your cheek.”
n“…”
n“Cut the whore’s seal out and consume this fool’s body as a means to serve me as your master.”
nThis place had no shrine, but what existed was the Gauntlet of the Fire Demon and Changhun’s body who was deeply imbued with the gauntlet. It was enough for one to accept Mashiv the body.
n“With that, you will be my dog-”
nIt wasn’t Dohyuk’s arm or leg that interrupted. It was done by the only part of the body he had the energy to use. He spat on Changhun’s face.
n“You all jabble… like parrots…”
nAll of them, gods and humans alike, spoke of the same thing.
n“F*ck… you.”
nAs Dohyuk spoke, Mashiv’s fist crumbled his face.
n“YOU FOOL!”
nA voice came to Dohyuk who had almost fainted. Mashiv clenched and prepared for another punch. It was going to be the last one that would kill Dohyuk, but Dohyuk grabbed it.
n“…!”
nA strength that was too powerful for Changhun’s body to shake off held onto his fist.
n“Youuuu… shouldn’tttttt… doooo thisssss.”
nA girl’s screech was coming from Dohyuk’s mouth.
n“Don’tttttt interfeeeeere with kidsssss’ fightttt.”
n“YOU….!”
nMashiv moaned and Dohyuk began to rise. The hand that was grabbing Dohyuk’s head was now being grabbed by Dohyuk’s other hand.
n“Youuuur dog is weakkkkk.”
n“You… You have no right! I own this body! How dare you control his body for having just a seal! That is against the rule-”
n“F*CKKKKK!”
nKa’Kudenol screamed as Dohyuk’s knee struck Mashiv’s chin, and Changhun’s body was flung back. Dohyuk’s body let go of one arm and held onto the arm with the gauntlet and wrapped itself against the entire body with both legs.
n“F*ck those rulesssss.”
nMashiv was now being tied down.
n“I likeeeee my puppyyyy.”
nThen, the gauntlet began to grow in size and Ka’Kudenol jumped back. The gauntlet had been destroyed.
n“Now you can say ‘WE’ wonnnn…. Righttt?”
n“SHUT UP!”
nMashiv charged. Without the arm, however, there was no chance for Mashiv to win.
n“Hmmmm.”
nDohyuk’s eyes turned into crescents while watching. With the ‘host’ being destroyed, the outcome was obvious. It was an easy fight for Ka’Kudenol. But…
n“My prettyyyy….”
nShe smiled and raised the leg. What came after was-
n-Kan He Nan Mu
nIt was a kicking skill that was completely different from Flying Master Kicks. As if it was some kind of a whip, Dohyuk’s two legs moved in a frenzy, as savagely as they could. And when they stopped, Changhun’s body was covered in blood with all of his nerves cut off.
nDohyuk’s body walked up and stepped on Changhun’s gauntlet.
n“Don’t eat stuff on the groundddddd.”
nWith the power, Ka’Kudenol cut the gauntlet off from Changhun’s body with the leg and kicked it away.
nAnd it was done. Mashiv had been kicked out of Changhun’s body and Changhun was dying.
n“But…”
nKa’kudenol then looked up.
n“What are youuuuu?”
nIt was the angels.
n-….heeeek!
n“Why are you just watchiiiiing? That asshole isn’t supposed to do thattttt!”
n-…..
nIt was actually Ka’kudenol who shouldn’t be doing what she had done as Mashiv was still bound by a rule. But nobody could object. They were up against someone who did not care about the rules.
n“Oh well….”
nKa’Kudenol nodded without doing anything.
n“I have no timeeee, and my puppy is too strong-minded so I have to get outtt.”
nKa’Kudenol waved to Basil among the angels.
n“You, come downnn.”
n-….
nBasil landed as the other angels watched.
n“Let’s do thisssss. I let you goo, but you protect himmm until he wakes uppp.”
n-….
n“You can do thattt, right?”
nBasil and the angels looked at each other. Just looking didn’t pose any problems, but if it in some way helped Dohyuk, there would be a problem with the fairness. The angels then turned to the top of the black tower. On top was the four-winged angel, the top administrator of this region who was looking down silently.
nKa’Kudenol then looked that way and spoke.
n“You have no problem toooo? Right b**tchhh?”
n-….
nThe four-winged angel did not speak or make any expressions.
n“Goooood.”
nKa’Kudenol clapped and began touching Dohyuk’s body, feeling every wound and muscle.
n“It’s so cool.”
nAnd with that, Dohyuk’s body collapsed.
n“Uh….”
nAnd came.
n“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!” Dohyuk screamed. He had been keeping his consciousness even when Ka’Kudenol was controlling him. That’s why he could feel everything. Every pain from the wounds to the muscles seared through his body and it was like unlike any pain he had felt before.
nIt was because of Ka’Kudenol’s godly skill.
nAs Dohyuk felt unbearable pain, he saw two things: the face of an angel and the message that popped up.
