Chapter 58 - 050 It’s a self defense – (2)
n
n
n-Huh?
nAruga was startled by his response, and Dohyuk asked his question.
n“Are they weak against heat too?”
n…
nAbout twenty minutes later, people were mumbling to themselves.
n“MOVE IN LINE! YOU INSECTS!”
n“MOVE FASTER!!”
nNot even a few minutes after a mysterious man killed Changkun, Bermuran soldiers came to them and gave them a ‘mission’.
n<
n-Follow the City Guard’s orders and move toward the top of the city wall, where the High Priest is watching.
n-Reward: 1000 coins
n-Repeatable – N
/A
nNo one rejected the mission. It was 1000 coins just for moving. They all knew the importance of the coins and Changkun and the overseers were no more.
n“W-what is that?!”
n“Those are Moss Sloths!”
n“Didn’t they recently just disappear?!”
nPeople witnessed monsters circling the city. The only weird thing wasn’t that however.
n“A human!”
nIn the city, there was a group of Bermuran soldiers. About twenty of them were circling one man in custody. It was Dohyuk.
n“Isn’t he the one who killed Kang Changkun?”
n“Why is he being taken away? Because he killed someone?”
n“Since when do those bastards care about that?”
nWhile being watched by the people from above, Dohyuk quietly followed the guards.
n-…You are crazy.
n“Maybe,” Dohyuk answered as he was led out of the city. The guards removed his chains and closed the city gates behind them.
n“YOU CALLED ME?!” Dohyuk shouted, stepping forward the forest toward the monsters growling at him.
n“I’M HERE YOU SICK BASTARD! WHAT DO YOU WANT?”
nIt was one of 7-meter long monsters responded with a rough voice.
n“I don’t know what fool broke the ‘rule’ and helped you, but he will not dare to do that again in front of me.”
n“A fool?”
nDohyuk then glanced at the city wall he had just come from.
n“You mean Chickenhead?”
n“The one that gave you the Power of Flame.”
n“No. Why would I borrow power from someone just to kill a retarded idiot?”
n“…We shall see. I’m not like that self-proclaimed God of Sun. If I see your god breaking the ‘rule’, you will regret your insolence.’
nWith that said, the monster charged instantly, as did the other monsters.
nDohyuk checked his resources.
n-Faith: 27223
nIt wasn’t enough to use the fire. It was powerful, but too expensive to use. Using the fire that burned Changkun cost him 30000.
n“It’s not worth it.”
nEven if those monsters’ weakness was fire, it was too much to wish for the fire to spread to the other monsters.
n“And it’s not cool either…” Dohyuk mumbled as he jumped back. The place where he was standing was now a crater after the attack from a Moss Sloth. Its strength was no joke.
n“HEY, CHICKENHEAD!!”
nDohyuk began to shout.
n“ARE YOU REALLY A GOD? YOU SCARED? WHY DID YOU CLOSE THE GATE? HUH? WHY DON’T YOU QUIT BEING A GOD AND JUST MANAGE A ‘KFC’ STORE?”
nDohyuk shouted furiously.
n“OH WAIT- YOU DON’T KNOW ABOUT FRIED CHICKEN! YOU’RE ALL F*CKING RETARDED FARMERS WHO FARM IN A DESERT!”
nAnd then he saw a sun shining brightly.
n“H-HERESY!!!”
nWith shame and fury, the High Priest of Aruga lifted his staff. And when he aimed, a thick ray of light struck at Dohyuk. And it struck the area faster than a Moss Sloth.
n“…”
n“…”
nIn the next moment, everyone who was watching from the wall couldn’t believe their eyes. Dohyuk was unharmed. Instead, the Moss Sloths were killed with giant holes in their bodies. Two of them fell.
n<
n<
n<
n<
n“IS THAT IT, CHICKENHEAD?!” Dohyuk shouted, and the light struck again.
n“GOD- DAMMIT!” Dohyuk screamed and spun in the air.
n<
n<
nAnd he kicked the light. The light was then sliced into two and-
n<
n<
n<
n<
nHe instantly killed 2 more Moss Sloths. That was the plan Dohyuk had thought up. Slicing the light didn’t cost as much as creating a fire, so he just cut the light, spending just enough faith to do so.
n-Faith: 28311
nAll the faith that was used was replenished instantly by the people who were watching.
n“MORE!”
nHe didn’t even need to aim.
n“MORE!”
nThere were just too many monsters around to not miss.
n“MORE!!!!”
nGrava then realized something was wrong and pulled his monsters back, but Dohyuk didn’t care. He was only looking up at the city wall.
n“…”
nHe took a deep breath and raised his middle finger toward the city, toward Aruga.
n“DO YOU EVEN HAVE BALLS?!”
nAruga released his ‘legitimate’ anger.
n-YOU!!!!!!
nWith that exclamation, somehow mixed with excitement, a thick ray of light was shot down by the god himself.
n“Oh, I guess you do have it.”
nAnd then he kicked it again. It was so big that it was divided into multiple rays of light, which was then thrown towards the forest. After repeating a few more times, the forest was now covered in flames.
n<
n<
n<
n<
n<
n<
n….
n…
n..
n“WOW.”
nDohyuk smiled in satisfaction as he watched his coins increasing exponentially.
nIt was then that he heard a scream from Grava.
n
