Chapter 77 - I saw a monster

nCrushing a face with his feet was still unpleasant, but Dohyuk knew that unpleasant feeling meant he needed to attack. The second kick was aimed at Yuri’s chin and chest.
n‘She’s not dead.’
nDohyuk’s stats were the following:
n<
n-Strength: 300( 2)(C)
n-Stamina: 300( 10)(C)
n-Agility: 300( 7)(C)
n-Magic: 56( 8)(D)
n-Endurance: 250( 11)(C)
n-Charisma: 176( 11)(D)
n-Coins: 2624882
nThe SSS-rank item had given him an abundance of coins. He had used millions to increase his stats, but the attack wasn’t enough to kill Yuri right away.
n‘She probably has more than 300 in Stamina.’
nBut it didn’t mean Yuri was in a state where she could continue fighting. Yuri’s body fell to the ground, unconscious, and Dohyuk tried to reach out to her, but he jumped back suddenly.
nSeventeen men were ready to attack.
n‘I guess I have to fight them too.’
nYuri was lying in a ‘clean state’ in front of him. Whether they were trying to protect her or take her as their own, they had a motive to fight Dohyuk. Besides, there were more of them.
n“Don’t be afraid! He’s outnumbered!”
nDohyuk then activated the skill again.
n“He’s using Double again!”
nThe two Dohyuks then ran off in the opposite direction. They were reminded of what Dohyuk did before – he was using it to teleport after merging back together.
n‘He’s trying to do that again!’
n‘We won’t be fooled this time.’
nThey were not as strong as a Four Circle, but they were still powerful warriors. They knew where Dohyuk would appear if he merged. Some were already ready to attack at the point. They also knew when it would end as they began creating a half circle around Dohyuk. So when Dohyuk was running in the opposite direction, there were men at either end of the half circle.
n“DIE!”
nTwo men from each end charged at Dohyuk. They knew Dohyuk would have no choice but to merge back, so the others looked at the point where Dohyuk would appear and waited.
n“…?”
nHe did not appear. Instead, sounds came from either side. The sounds, however, weren’t coming from their men. Both Dohyuks were struck down. They were shocked by the unexpected sight, but then they heard Dohyuk speaking.
n“This is… enough.”

n-Stamina: 500( 10)(B)
nThe message that popped up a few seconds ago was disappearing, but Dohyuk had no time to check. Right after he took the attack, he was ready for the counterattack. It was just a regular kick, but it was enough.
nThe two men were killed right after they were kicked and the Dohyuks moved onto the next target. A giant flail flew towards him from the right, while stones thrown by some kind of magic skill were flying at him from the left.
nThe Dohyuks did not dodge. It was the idea he got from not being able to kill Yuri. If he would be hindered by dividing into two, he would require his body to withstand the attacks so he could get closer and land his attacks.
nEven if he got hit, a single blow to the target was enough to kill them. Two more men fell and Dohyuk attacked again. The third pair died.
n“G-gather up!”
nThe fourth pair was already next to the fifth pair for a joint attack, but Dohyuk was now different. The Dohyuk on the right grabbed the club that hit him and spoke.
n“Digest.”
nIt all happened at the same time when the Dohyuk on the left dodged the weapon that was thrown at him.
nAll of them then realized-
n“T-that’s impossible…”
n“He- he…”
nThe coordination between Dohyuk’s two bodies was improving. He was getting used to controlling both bodies.
nOthers began running toward fourth and fifth pair fighting against the Dohyuks. They had been letting the others die to get rid of the competition to take Yuri, but they now knew that wasn’t an option.
n“That’s a monster!”
nIf they waited, they would end up facing the unbeatable monster.
n“HUH?!”
nThat’s when Dohyuk disappeared from both sides.
nThey then turned to the center as one man.
n‘So if I merge, the damage adds up. If I merge and divide myself again, it’ll be a loss.’
nThat was the only result he earned. The gamble was a success. When he defeated Lee Yuri, his purpose wasn’t to win the battle. Dohyuk just wanted to test it out. He wanted to see the skill that Giwon had mentioned shrugged off and experience using it in real combat.
n“…Will you continue?” Dohyuk asked, and the eight men flinched. They weren’t just shocked because Dohyuk was strong. The being in front of them was ‘different’. It a type of strength they could not replicate even if they were under the same conditions.
n“Hm? You can’t speak?”
nIt was awe.
n“No, sir!” one of them shouted. Dohyuk wasn’t asking them. Eight of them turned in the direction Dohyuk was looking at. There was a woman who was shaking violently while standing up. Dohyuk took a step closer to her and saw the word that popped up earlier.
nBut he wasn’t surprised this time.
