"May I ask another question?
"
n
"Please, madam. You can ask anything, as long as it is within the scope of my knowledge, I will answer it.
"
n
"Before me, did any other women live here?
"
n
"Am I Brian's only wife?
" Anna asked again, with Brian's character still etched in her memory, it seemed that the man would never be satisfied with just one woman. So most likely if she is not the only wife of the man.
n
"I don't know, madam, the only woman I serve is you, regarding your question I don't have any answers,
" replied Elena.
n
"Okay, you can go now,
" said Anna.
n
"Thank you, madam. If you are bored in your room, you can watch tv.
"
n
"Erm, uh yeah I almost forgot. From all the rules here, it doesn't say that I can't contact Brian. That means I can call my husband anytime, right?
" she asked.
n
"That's right, madam.
"
n
"Erm okay. Well, I don't have any more questions,
" said Anna.
n
"Okay, then excuse me,
" replied Elena and immediately got a nod from Anna.
nAfter Elena's leave, Anna immediately grabbed her cellphone and intended to call Brian. Maybe do a little negotiation with the man about the rules she's read?
nThe only contact left on her cell phone was that of the man.
n
"Hello...
"
nSuddenly Anna froze on the spot. All the sentences that had been neatly arranged in her mind now vanished in an instant.
n
"Hello...
" the voice from the other end came back.
nAnna became nervous. It wasn't Brian's voice, or any man's but a woman's voice.
nTut...
nAnna ended the call without making a sound.
nWas this a fitting answer to the question he had asked Elena a moment ago?
nIf so, it looks like she contacted the man at the wrong time.
nShe didn't feel anything after hearing a woman's voice from her husband's cellphone. Just flat and plain.
nAnna put her phone back on the nightstand and got up from her position, walking to the side of the window.
nLooking at the entire area that her vision could reach, Anna could conclude that the number of people guarding down there tended to be more at night than during the day.
nBut unfortunately, from the current position of her room, she couldn't see the gate and the surrounding area.

nD.A Group
nAt this time Devan had just come out of the meeting room, accompanied by Clarissa the man stepped down the corridor, wanting to return to his room.
nSince this morning, he doesn't know how many times he has checked his cell phone, even during a meeting he still does it, as if he is waiting for a message or an incoming call from someone.
nSuddenly his steps stopped and made Clarissa who was walking behind the man almost hit him on the back if he didn't do the same.
n
"Did you forget something, sir?
" Clarissa asked as she took a few steps back, keeping her distance from Devan.
n
"No,
" replied Devan and at the same time turned his body and walked again, of course, Clarissa did the same with her boss.
n
"Clarissa, go back to your room. I want to go alone,
" said Devan when he heard the knock on the woman's shoes that followed him.
n
"Okay, sir,
" Clarissa replied and then turned around.
nWithout waiting for the woman to move away from him, Devan resumed his stopped steps.
nUsing a private elevator, he headed to the first floor. Some of the employees looked surprised when they saw him suddenly appear, while others chose to turn around trying to avoid running into the Leader of D.A Group.
nAs for those who had passed each other, they immediately bowed respectfully until Mr. Devan passed their position.
nDevan did not pay attention to the treatment of these people and just continued his steps without turning back or slowing down in the slightest.
nTowards the back of the office, a place where there was not a single employee in sight except the cleaning workers.
nAnd the employees who saw their Leader enter that area wondered.
nHas something happened?
nIt is now two o'clock in the afternoon. All employees and cleaning workers should return to their work after a break.
nStopped in front of a room, it was Mrs. Lidya's room, the woman in charge of cleaning all the rooms inside and outside the building.
nSuddenly Devan fell silent.
nAs if he had just realized what he was doing, he then turned around without knocking on the door.
nWhat was he thinking about when he wanted to go to Lidya?
nHe was the Head of the company, he shouldn't have done something like this and caused a meaningless uproar.
nWhereas he could summon anyone into his room without bothering or wasting his energy as he did now.
nIt seemed like Anna's sudden disappearance made his focus shift.
nHow could he forget that woman? No matter how hard he tried to do it, that figure also became clearer in him.
nIs it this hard to forget someone?
nA sigh escaped his lips, walking towards the elevator, he wanted to go back to his room.
nAnd his sudden appearance again made the employee that the man had previously met again surprised at the same time. The reason is, the Leader just passed a few minutes ago and is now back in the focus of attention on the first floor.
n
"Clarissa, tell Lidya to my room,
" asked Devan before opening the door to his room.
nInstantly the woman gasped in surprise, it seemed she didn't notice Devan's presence at all.
n
"O-okay, sir,
" she stuttered as the man disappeared behind the door.
nClarissa immediately contacted someone and carried out her boss's orders. Although she felt a little curious, why would the Leader ask the janitor to see him?
nFinished making the call, Clarissa resumed her work. Prepare the minutes of the meeting.
nOnly a few seconds later, Mrs. Lidya came.
n
"You just go in, the boss is waiting,
" Clarissa said to the woman.
n
"Okay,
" replied Mrs. Lidya as she walked to the door and knocked.
n
"Good afternoon, sir,
" said Mrs. Lidya after being invited in.
n
"Sit down,
" said Devan, now he was in his chair.
nLidya obeyed, she had been wondering about why the Leader had summoned her.
n
"You're in charge of cleaning, aren't you?
"
n
"R-right, sir.
"
n
"Then do you remember the woman named Anna?
"
n
"Yes sir,
" answered Mrs. Lidya.
n
"Did she come to work today?
" asked Devan, tapping his forefinger on the table.
n
"Huh?
"
n
"D-doesn't that woman work at your house, sir?
"
n
"I don't allow you to ask?
n
