nVillain Ch 26. Endless Battle

nThe battle was endless. The problem was, the tower was too quiet and the only sound that came was from their battle. So the monsters kept coming to them because they were attracted to the noises.

nThe duo fought valiantly, but this time, the zombies were more aggressive. Some of the zombies managed to get close enough to scratch and bite them, causing their HP to decrease. The wounds on their bodies were deep and painful. Allen felt the sharp sting of a zombie’s nail digging into his flesh, while Larissa had a deep gash on her arm from a zombie’s bite.

nBut fortunately, Allen was able to use his Soul Siphon skill to absorb their enemies’ HP and MP, replenishing his own. Meanwhile, Larissa used her Blood Drain skill to fill her own HP, feeling the strength returning to her body.

nAllen and Larissa continued to fight, their movements becoming more frenzied and desperate. They fought with wild abandon, striking out at the zombies with all their might. Allen’s claws tore through the zombies’ flesh, while Larissa’s Blood Manipulation skill sliced through them like a razor-sharp knife.

nFinally, after what seemed like an eternity, the last of the zombies fell to the ground. Allen and Larissa stood there, panting and covered in sweat and blood.

nYou received Zombie Salive 21 ea, Decayed Nail 31 ea, and 121 Coins.

nLevel up!

nYou are now level 16!

nThe room was quiet once again, the only sound coming from the duo’s ragged breathing. .

n“That was intense…” Allen gasped out, his voice trembling slightly from the adrenaline still coursing through his veins. He looked down at his hands and took a deep breath to steady himself. He had managed to raise his level by one, just by defeating these zombies, but he knew that the journey ahead was going to be much harder.

n“Indeed.” Larissa nodded in agreement, her eyes scanning the area for any signs of movement. She had also gained some experience points from the battle, but her thoughts were now focused on the wounds that she had sustained. Her body was covered in scratches and bite marks from the zombies, and she winced as she tried to move her left arm.

nLarissa took a deep breath and raised her hand, calling upon the inventory system of the game. A holographic interface materialized in front of her, showing all the items that she had acquired so far. She quickly scanned through the list and selected a Basic Health Potion, which she pulled out from the inventory and held in her hand.

nThe potion was a small, clear vial that glowed with a bright red light. Larissa uncorked it and raised it to her lips, closing her eyes as she drank it down in one gulp. A cool, refreshing sensation flooded her body as the potion’s magical energy coursed through her veins, replenishing her depleted HP points.

nAllen also followed suit, summoning his own inventory system and retrieving a Basic Mana Potion of his own. He drank it down quickly, feeling a surge of power as his mana reserves were restored to their full capacity.

n“All right, are you ready for the next battle?” Allen asked, looking at Larissa with a determined glint in his eyes.

nLarissa nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips. “Of course, let’s keep going.”

nThey went further. The atmosphere grew darker and more oppressive. The air grew musty and moist, and the only sound was the rhythmic beat of their footsteps on the stone floor. As they went deeper, the darkness enveloped them. It was as if they had entered a different world, a place where the rules of reality didn’t apply. The walls were covered in a slimy substance, and the air was thick with the smell of decay and death.

nLarissa shivered involuntarily, but she pushed her fear aside. She had to remain focused if they were going to survive this game.

nAllen, too, was on edge. His eyes scanned the darkness, searching for any signs of movement. But all he could see was the swirling mist that filled the air.

n“This place gives me the creeps,” she muttered.

nHe nodded in agreement. “We need to stay focused,” he said. “The monsters here will be stronger than the ones we faced before.”

n“Let’s be careful,” she said.

nAs Allen and Larissa continued walking deeper, they noticed mushrooms growing on the walls and floors. The mushrooms were of various sizes and shapes, some glowing faintly in the dark. Suddenly, without warning, the mushrooms around them started to pop their eyes open, causing them to enlarge significantly.

n“What’s going on?” Larissa exclaimed in shock, readying her vampiric abilities.

n“It’s an ambush!” Allen said, calling upon his Demonic Lance.

nThe mushrooms grew larger. In a second, they transformed into grotesque mushroom monsters. These monsters had a big mouths full of sharp teeth, and their eyes glinted menacingly in the dim light.

nMutant Poison Mushroom

nThey approached Allen and Larissa, and before they could attack, the monsters released a poisonous spore that filled the area around them.

nCoughing and gasping for air, Allen and Larissa tried to fight back. However, the spore made it difficult to breathe, and their movements became sluggish.

nPoison has been spread!

nYour HP will decrease by 1 point every 5 seconds!

n“We must get out of here!” Allen yelled, his voice barely audible over the sound of their enemies. “Forward!” he told Larissa, pointing in the direction they needed to go.

nLarissa nodded, trusting Allen’s instincts. She could feel the poison seeping into her character’s veins and knew that they needed to act fast if they were going to survive this encounter. They ran as fast as they could, dodging the mushroom monsters and weaving their way through the tower.

nThe monsters closed in on them, their teeth bared and their spores thick in the air. Allen slashed and killed them with his demonic lance, taking down several monsters in quick succession. Meanwhile, Larissa used her blood manipulation to create razor-sharp blades of blood that sliced through the monsters with ease.

nTheir battle was intense, the sound of their weapons clashing against the monsters echoing through the tower. The air was thick with the scent of blood and decay, and the sound of their labored breathing filled their ears. But slowly, one by one, the mushroom monsters fell, defeated by the sheer determination and skill of the two adventurers.

nFinally, fifteen minutes later, the last of the mushroom monsters fell to the ground, defeated.

nYou received Mushroom Spore 15 ea, Poison Spore 5 ea, and 105 Coins.

n“Are you okay?” Allen asked, his voice hoarse with exhaustion.

nLarissa nodded, a small smile on her face. “I’m fine,” she said. “Thanks to you.”

nAllen grinned, feeling a sense of pride in their accomplishment. “We make a pretty good team,” he said, offering her a hand up.
