Chapter 362 Handsome Demon

Villain Ch 362. Handsome Demon

“We should move quickly to the deeper level. This place sucks,” grumbled Vivian, her brows furrowed in annoyance. Her eyes scanned the eerie surroundings, her lips forming a slight pout.

“I agree,” chimed Zoe, her agile movements retracting the tentacles.

Shea’s features mirrored her frustration, her lips curling into a slight frown. “I hope the second level can give us more loot,” she grumbled, crossing her arms over her chest.

“The torturer kinda okay though,” Jane interjected with an odd mixture of nonchalance and enthusiasm.

Vivian’s brows shot up, a mix of surprise and disbelief crossing her features. “Seriously, Jane?” She raised an eyebrow at her friend, clearly not expecting such a response.

Jane shrugged, a mischievous grin playing on her lips. “Hey, I’m just saying.” Her eyes twinkled with a playful gleam. “Please, pardon my weird fetish,” Jane half sighed, clearly amused by her own confession.

Zoe quirked an eyebrow, her lips curving into a playful grin as she glanced at Jane. “Well, at least you’re open about your reading preferences,” she teased, her tone light and good-natured. 𝒆𝙣𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝙚𝙩

Amidst the camaraderie, Allen’s curiosity got the better of him. He leaned forward slightly, his attention shifting to his companions. “I thought there are only undead type monsters here?” he inquired, his voice carrying a hint of intrigue. He had done his research before they embarked on this dungeon via forum and website, and everything he had read pointed to a dungeon filled with the undead.

Shea waved her hand dismissively. “Well, it turns out we’re in for a pleasant surprise on the next level,” she replied, a playful glint in her eyes.

Allen’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. “Pleasant surprise, you say? That’s unexpected,” he mused aloud, his interest clearly piqued. “Let me guess, did you ask Kafra again?” he guessed with a knowing smile, his gaze locking onto Shea’s.

Shea’s grin widened, and she nodded enthusiastically. “You got it! Kafra got all the insider info we need,” she quipped.

“Right. Mind tell me what monsters you guys are after?” Allen inquired, his tone laced with curiosity as he glanced around the group.

Zoe, her expression focused as she pondered their next move, chimed in. “Demon monster type,” she muttered in excitement. A smirk on her lips.

Jane added her input. “That will suit our group for the next event,” she declared with another smirk.

“Hmm… Indeed,” Allen murmured in agreement, his gaze narrowing thoughtfully.

The next event would start soon. It was a big war event. This is a long term event as they could attack and take every city in the game every week. At the end of the event, a dark tower would appear once the city was theirs and they could place any monsters or boss monsters to guard the city. The only way to take back the city was to defeat the monsters in the tower. The points would be accumulated every week whenever the players or the villains win. This was exciting since the winner usually would get something.

“But I don’t understand, why does it have to be here? In this map? Demon type monsters are almost all over Black Castle. We can choose another dungeon,” Allen voiced his confusion, his brows furrowing as he gazed at his companions. There was a hint of skepticism in his voice, a sense that there might be more to their choice of location than met the eye, especially since Black Castle had a dozen dungeons.

Shea, always quick to address concerns, stepped in to provide an explanation. “This type of demon is special. And you see for yourself how strong they are,” she began, her eyes glancing around their surroundings as if to emphasize her point. “We didn’t even find any players here. They hate the monsters here because they are too strong,” she stated.

Vivian added her own take on the matter. “Or because the loot sucks,” she interjected with a wry grin, her eyes dancing mischievously.

“True,” Zoe chimed in, nodding in agreement with Vivian’s sentiment.

With a sly grin, Shea leaned in closer to Allen, her words laced with a tempting undertone. “And in the second level, there is also a strong boss monster. You can use that to guard the tower later,” she purred, her voice tinged with mischief. Her smile held a hint of seduction, her eyes twinkling mischievously as she gazed up at him.

Allen’s brow quirked in response to her suggestive offer, a mixture of curiosity and wariness stirring within him. He had known Shea for long enough to recognize her playful nature and her tendency to push the boundaries. Her words, however, hinted at something more than just a strategic suggestion. “Fine. Let’s go,” he finally said.

They walked for about half an hour. It was a tiring journey since even though they tried to do minimum damage, the zombies kept coming at them. The battle was inevitable and sometimes, they got trapped in a horde. It would take more time to defeat the monsters in that state.

Finally, they reached portal level two.

Once they came out of the portal, their surroundings were still terrifying like before. The prison scenery had not changed. Allen had expected worse monsters, yet he got another thing.

A male’s laughter, rich and deep, echoed through the dungeon. The voice carried an eerie charm, one that sent a ripple of unease through their collective consciousness.

“At last some beauties came~” the voice taunted, its playful tone contrasting sharply with the ominous atmosphere. The source of the voice emerged from the shadows, stepping into their field of view as if greeting them with a macabre sense of hospitality. The sight that met their eyes left them utterly dumbfounded, their initial shock giving way to a mixture of surprise and disbelief.

Before them stood a creature that defied all expectations, a creature that seemed to blur the lines between monstrous and handsome.

Incubus

‘Right, that’s why they chose this place…’ thought Allen with a cringe.
