Chapter 376 Walk Of Shame
Villain 376. Walk of Shame
They all piled into the car, Allen riding shotgun as Alice took the wheel. She dropped Allen off at his apartment’s entrance, and he hopped out, turning to them with a grateful smile. “Thanks again, you two. I really needed this.”
Alice grinned. “No problem. We’re just glad we could help take your mind off things.”
“Yeah, don’t hesitate to hit us up if you need us,” Bella added with a playful wink.
With a wave and a final thank you, Allen entered his apartment. He spent the next hour jotting down his thoughts, wrapping up his writing for the day. After a while, he decided to call it quits, closing his laptop and letting out a content sigh. Even though his meeting with his mom didn’t go exactly as he’d hoped, spending time with Bella and Alice had lifted his spirits more than he’d expected. Their positivity and light-hearted banter were exactly what he needed.
The next morning, sunlight streaming through his window roused Allen from his sleep at a slightly later time than usual, around 8:12 AM. He stretched his limbs, feeling rejuvenated after a full night’s rest. He grabbed his phone from the side table to check the time and was greeted by an unexpected sight – his phone screen was flooded with over a hundred group chat notifications. His brows furrowed in confusion. It was early Monday morning, and this level of activity was unusual.
Curiosity piqued, he scrolled through the messages, his frown deepening. He gathered that something big must have happened. It seemed like the girls were in a frenzy of discussion about Sophia.
Zoe’s last comment caught his attention first.
Zoe: Oh God. No kidding. I don’t know if I should feel sorry for her or not.
The cryptic comment left him intrigued, urging him to backtrack and figure out what had triggered this sudden frenzy. Scrolling upwards, he finally stumbled upon the catalyst – a video posted by Larissa, dated just around fifteen minutes ago. Curiosity piqued, he tapped on the video and it started playing.
In the video, Sophia appeared, dressed in a cute dress that looked a bit disheveled. Her makeup was smudged, and she walked with a quick pace, head down in what seemed like embarrassment. Her feet were bare, and she clutched a purse in one hand while the other held her discarded heels. The evidence was clear – this was a classic walk of shame.
Larissa’s message accompanied the video.
Larissa: I was at my parent’s place and heading to work when I spotted this.
Vivian: Is that Sophia?
Shea: Looks like Sophia had quite a night. Any idea what happened?
Larissa: This will explain.
The cryptic message was accompanied by another video. Allen’s curiosity got the best of him, and he quickly tapped on the video to see what Larissa was referring to. The video began to play, and he realized it was taken from inside a car. 𝒷𝒹ℴ𝓿𝓁.𝓬𝓸𝓂
As the scene unfolded, he recognized Liam and Darren. They were moving with an urgency that suggested something was amiss. Their disheveled appearances – messed up clothes and unruly hair – indicated that they had just woken up from sleep, and it seemed like they were in a hurry to get somewhere.
In the video, Darren’s voice came through, speaking to someone on the other end of a phone call. “Sophia, where are you now?”
Vivian: No way… *Shock emoji*
Shea: Wait… Did she just have a threesome? With two boys?
Zoe: This is unexpected and crazy! *Shock emoji* *Shock emoji* *Shock emoji*
Jane: Okay. I just read this. And I need more explanation as to why she can end up like that.
Vivian: I thought she would hit Elio. I don’t understand why she can end up with those boys.
Zoe: Did they rape her? They could have gotten her drunk or sprinkled her drink.
Larissa: I don’t think so. She walked well and didn’t look confused or blank. Just shame.
Bella: Oh **… I think I know what happened guys.
Shea: Tell us!
Allen scrolled down since Bella and Alice simply told them what happened at the diner last night.
Alice: So, I think Sophia went there to meet Allen, but she ended up hanging out with them.
Bella: Well, maybe she’s brokenhearted and decided to have fun with those boys.
Vivian: Wouldn’t that just make things worse?
Shea: Yes. But for a person seeking validation from others, no. She seems to want to show that she is wanted by many men.
Jane: So, she is a pick me up girl?
Zoe: Kinda.
Vivian: I don’t get it, why would anyone want to do that?
Alice: Maybe, Allen spoiled her in the past. So, she feels special and feels she deserves all the attention.
Jane: Sounds annoying. I hate that type of female lead.
The chat was abuzz with reactions and speculations, but eventually, Allen found his voice and decided to chime in.
Allen: I don’t know what to say.
Alice: Seriously? That’s your only comment?
Allen: Yes. It is her own choice. I can’t say anything. I could only hope for the best for her.
Vivian: Oh my God… Allen, you really are the worst person to gossip with.
Allen: Thank you. You’re not the only one to say that. *Grinning emoji*
Allen’s response was measured and mature, reflecting his understanding of the complexity of the situation. He wasn’t one to jump to conclusions or engage in gossip.
Zoe: So, you’re not going to do anything?
Allen: Nope. It’s her problem.
‘And Elio’s problem,’ he thought. Since he knew Elio had feelings for Sophia. But with this, it proved what Henry said was right.
Allen: I just don’t understand why she would do that with them. I mean, she wasn’t this wild before.
Vivian: I bet you also weren’t this wild before.
Allen pressed his lips due to Vivian’s comment before he texted.
Allen: True.
Shea: Well, everything’s settled. At least we already know what happened. Especially you, Allen.
Allen: Yeah. Thanks for the info anyway.
