n“Details about what I want?” Sophia confirmed. “Sure, where do we start? From the game or Allen?” Sophia’s response was laced with a subtle sense of manipulation, a clever play on her part to exploit their predicament. She acknowledged their question with a casual nod, concealing her true intentions beneath a veneer of nonchalance. Her intent was to utilize them for her purposes, ensuring they would be wholeheartedly committed to her cause. In return, she offered tantalizing rewards.

n“Allen.” Liam’s voice held a trace of irritation.

nSophia accepted Liam’s choice with a sweet smile. “As I mentioned earlier,” she began, her tone firm and unyielding. “I need comprehensive information about the women in Allen’s life. Their addresses, their relationships with Allen, and their intentions,” she explained with clarity.

nLiam and Darren exchanged puzzled glances, struggling to comprehend her request.

n“Didn’t Elio say you already knew about their relationship with Allen?” Darren inquired, his skepticism clear in his tone.

nSophia responded with a smirk. “I want to ask,” she began, her voice laden with implications, “Do you seriously believe that?” Her eyes darted between Darren and Liam, leaving them momentarily speechless.

nSophia’s pointed question hung in the air, challenging them to reconsider their assumptions.

n“Allen is usually distant with women,” she continued, her tone more earnest now. “He’s not the type to chase after every girl he sees. But suddenly, he’s surrounded by so many women. Isn’t that strange?” she probed, hoping to jolt them into thinking critically.

n“You’re right,” Liam conceded, his initial skepticism giving way to a sense of curiosity. “We should investigate how they’re connected to him. It’s not normal for Allen to attract so much attention from women all at once.”

n“Ah, you got my point. Either one of their sides will definitely want the other. Allen or those girls. In this case, I’m sure Allen has something big that attracts them to him.” Sophia’s words seemed to make some sense to Darren and Liam. They contemplated the situation, wondering what could have caused all these women to flock around Allen suddenly.

n“But what?” Darren voiced the question in their minds.

nSophia simply shrugged, a mischievous glint in her eye. “We don’t know what it is yet, but it’s your job to find out,” she instructed, keeping the details intentionally vague.

nLiam sought further clarification. “So, just gathering information about these women and Allen’s connection to them? That’s it?”

nSophia leaned in closer, her voice dropping to a sultry whisper. “Well, if you can provide me with something even more interesting than that, I wouldn’t object. Besides, I’m sure you’re also curious about it, aren’t you?” She cast a seductive smile their way, adding another layer of intrigue to the already complex situation. .

nLiam and Darren exchanged a glance, silently acknowledging their curiosity and agreeing to help Sophia with her request.

nSophia seemed pleased with their agreement. “Great, it’s settled then. I hope you guys can help me,” she said, her satisfaction evident as she rose from her seat, signaling her intention to leave.

nHowever, Darren couldn’t help but feel a lingering worry about the video. “Wait, what about the video?” he asked, his concern evident.

nSophia’s smile remained sweet, but her words carried a hint of warning. “Oh, about that video?” She tilted her head slightly. “I’ll keep it just in case you break your promise,” she said in a deceptively sweet tone, leaving them with no doubt about the potential consequences if they failed to deliver on their agreement.

nAgain, Liam and Darren exchanged glances, feeling the weight of the situation. Sophia had them in a bind, and they realized there was little choice but to comply with her demands.

nLiam was still puzzled and slightly worried. “You don’t believe us?” he questioned, his frown deepening.

nSophia leaned in closer, her voice a mere whisper. “This is a mutual relationship, right? You’ve gotten what you want. But I haven’t yet. I’ve paid in advance, but you guys haven’t done anything for me,” she explained with an air of nonchalance. “At least I need some assurance that shows you will do it for me,” she added, her words veiling the clear threat she presented.

nThe two men were taken aback by how an angelic-looking girl like her could deliver a veiled threat with a smile on her face, making them feel even more trapped.

nSophia’s phone chimed, drawing her attention away from the conversation. She quickly checked the message, her fingers dancing across the screen as she typed out a reply. “Oh, I need to go now,” she announced, slipping her phone back into her bag.

nLiam offered, “Do you need a ride?” as he rose from his seat.

nSophia declined the offer with a warm smile. “No, thanks. Elio is waiting for me. We’re meeting up with Gilbert and Jacob. They really worry about me, especially after what you guys said,” she explained, her smile still intact. It was partially a precaution in case Liam and Darren had any intentions of following her to her apartment, and also a subtle way of letting them know that the rest of the group was on her side.

nLiam and Darren exchanged anxious glances as Sophia’s words sank in. They couldn’t help but feel a sense of unease about the situation.

nSophia seemed to sense their discomfort and reassured them, her tone softening, “Don’t worry. I won’t say anything strange or mention our deal either. You guys better do the same.” She punctuated her words with a warm smile, softening the tension that had hung in the air moments ago. “Bye, guys~” she added cheerfully, waving her hand as she turned to leave the café.

nThe two men watched her departure, still baffled by the unexpected turn of events. Sophia’s power over them, whether through her charm or the video she possessed, left them in a precarious position. They knew they had to tread carefully from now on, their actions dictated by Sophia’s hidden agenda.

n“So, what should we do?” Darren asked Liam, his voice fraught with uncertainty.

nLiam sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I guess we don’t have much of a choice here,” he replied, the frustration evident in his tone. They both knew that crossing Sophia at this point would be unwise, given the compromising video she held over them.

nDarren nodded reluctantly, realizing the gravity of the situation they found themselves in. “Yeah, you’re right. Let’s just hope we can find out what she wants without getting into more trouble,” he conceded.

n
