190 Tundra

Although the lightning strike just now was powerful, it didn’t kill the hundred of drakes. Some in the back row were killed. Whereas those, who touched Metal Wall and the drakes that were touching right behind them were temporarily paralyzed. Viktor, who realized this, immediately took action.

Viktor jumped over Metal Wall and landed in the middle of the crowd, then his body spun like a tornado.

Splat! Splat!

The herd of drakes roared, trying to dodge Viktor’s deadly attack, but their bodies were still in shock from the high voltage and could only freeze. Meanwhile, Viktor freely swung his axe like nothing.

Every time Viktor killed a certain number of drakes, a notification popped up in Viktor’s head. He was getting excited. Nearly half of them had died from being hit by Viktor’s axe.

Of course, the drakes would not always be paralyzed. Some of them were able to move and tried to escape. But Viktor wasn’t going to let the pile of spiritual stones escape.

“Jessie! Liza! Time to fight!”

After hearing Viktor’s instructions, the two girls who had been watching from a safe place jumped into battle. Liza took out an ice claw, then she shot like a bullet and finished off the drakes. Meanwhile, Jessie jumped onto the Metal Wall as high as 5 meters, then cast a spell.-.

Blast!

Two drakes that were about to run were struck by lightning. They died right away. With Jessie and Liza joining forces, these four-legged lizard-like monsters could be crushed much faster than ever.

Viktor and Liza chopped up the paralyzed drakes, and then Jessie with her lightning spell finished off the drakes who were about to run away.

Within ten minutes, a hundred icy drakes had been swept away.

“How is it Viktor? With our combination, aren’t our hunt become more effective?” Jessie asked with a smiling face.

“It’s still far from being effective. But it is tolerable, saves time.”

Jessie looked stunned after hearing Viktor’s response. According to Viktor, the combination of the two of them made Jessie’s attack ability more effective. Although it reduced the damage power, Jessie’s lightning shock effect, which could paralyze a large number of opponents, made the fight easier.

“Let’s continue hunting monsters again.”

After that, they returned to the Siberian Wilderness.

Three days later they arrived in the northern part of the Siberian Plateau, where the vast expanse of snow stretched as far as the eye could see. There was no greenery to be seen at all, only a few trees without leaves. Viktor encountered a pack of musk deer mutants. According to Djinn, there were more than 100 of them.

Mutated Musk deer – Level 70

Battle power – 75

Musk deer was different from deer in general. This animal did not have horns, but a pair of tusks that resembled fangs. When Musk deer mutated, this animal changed into a carnivore. It could be seen when a musk deer saw Viktor, its red eyes glowed as if it had just seen its prey.

Their shape was still the same, only bigger and the muscles in their bodies were visible. Its brown fur had a dense tread and there was a white line from head to tail.

They immediately attacked Viktor after a second of staring at each other. Their movements were very fast and agile. The pair of tusks growing between their mouths was able to make a mark on Viktor’s metal spells. Although not to the point of damage, the sight still surprised Viktor.

Viktor and Jessie used a similar technique when defeating the icy drake. Only this time Viktor used Chain Strike. The high-voltage metal chains electrocuted dozens of mutated musk deers simultaneously, instantly paralyzing them and some of them dying of heart attacks. Then Liza moved quickly to finish them off.

As long as they faced the mutated musk deer, the three of them didn’t have any problems at all.

After that Djinn told Viktor to head east. Along the way, they encountered some of the same monsters. But after four days, Viktor encountered a pack of mutated wolverines.

This time Viktor was in a pine forest area where there was a partially melted river. In that place, a group of mutated wolverines were seen hunting for mutated snakes.

There were 50 mutated wolverines in total. Without a doubt, they immediately finished off the herd of mutated wolverines.

The battle this time was easier thanks to the melting river flow. Viktor managed to lure the wolverines into the water, and then Jessie grabbed them with a lightning spell. Immediately the wolverines did not move because they were electrocuted by the high voltage. In closing, Viktor bombarded them with the Metal Bullet spell.

Finish dealing with Wolverine, they continued the journey to the east. On the eighth day, the journey did not go smoothly. This time it was not an abyss monster or mutant beasts being a challenge, but the extreme weather in Siberia. Suddenly a blizzard appeared, forced Viktor to stop their hunt for a moment.

To overcome the heavy snowstorm, Viktor used Metal Wall to survive the fierce blizzard. Viktor built a cube-shaped building, with a square hole on one side. Then inside it, they built a tent. After 24 hours, the blizzard stopped and the hunt resumed.

When they were on the high cliffs of Siberia, there was a big cave. According to Djinn, inside there were about 30 high-level mutated creatures. Viktor wasn’t sure to go in there because of the lack of light. Because he couldn’t get in, Viktor planned to make the creatures inside come out.

The three of them gathered leaves and tree trunks then gathered them together at the mouth of the cave, positioned according to the direction of the wind. He didn’t forget to put Chain Strike at the mouth of the cave. After that he just burned it. Then a puff of white smoke entered the cave.

Suddenly they felt a vibration from above the snow surface. From inside the cave came a roar. Viktor got ready quickly, as did Jessie and Liza. Not long after, dozens of white tiger figures appeared. His form was twice that of a normal tiger. Their eyes were burning yellow and long fangs were sticking out of their mouths.

“Sabretooth!” Jessie shouted. The monster reminded Jessie of an ancient creature that had died millions of years ago.

Tens of them looked angry, they were about to prey on creatures who dared to disturb their peace. But they couldn’t because the chain at the mouth of the cave held them back. They tried to damage Chain Strike by biting

It didn’t feel like two weeks have passed. Viktor felt that they had had enough spirit stones, so they decided to return to camp. Of course, on the way back, they were confronted by a swarm of monsters as well.

After playing in the Siberian Wilderness for more than two weeks; Viktor, Jessie, and Liza arrived at the campsite. They arrived in the early hours of the morning.

“Aaaa~ finally we arrived at the camp. I can continue sleeping.” Jessie’s eyes were watering. She was still very sleepy because Viktor woke her up at three in the morning.

“Me too.” Liza had the same reaction.

Viktor had purposely returned to camp in the morning so as not to cause much attention. He didn’t want anyone else to see Metal Guardian walk into a Viktor Romanov’s tent and not come out. Protecting his identity was a top priority despite complaints from Jessie along the way.

“Yeah, go on with your sleep. Hopefully beautiful dream. And don’t forget, we will enter the abyss pit shortly,” said Viktor teasing Jessie.

But Jessie and Liza didn’t respond. They were too sleepy and quickly went to their respective tents. Viktor who went unnoticed could only sigh. Then Viktor entered his tent without anyone knowing.

Arriving at the tent, he took off the armour attached to his body and then checked the total stats he had earned over the past two weeks.

Viktor Romanov

Male – 23 years

Strength – 75 (79)

Agility – 115 (120)

Endurance – 74 (78)

Battle Power – 86

Spirit Force – 101(110)

Sky Realm – Early Stage

Seeing the results he got after hunting for more than two weeks Viktor’s expression looked a little disappointed. Reaching the Peak Sky Realm turned out to be more difficult than he thought. Not to mention the Core of Anvil must reach stage 8.

“After 500 monsters I hunted, I only went up this much? No wonder the quest gave me up to a year.” Viktor clicked his tongue. A dissatisfied expression was evident on his face.

Within a few months, a first-stage Mortal Realm could break through to the Sky Realm. But now, it was very difficult to break through the Sky Realm to the top. It took more than hard work to get it. Not only did he have to kill a lot of monsters, but Viktor also had to fight more powerful monsters.
