nDuring the past 2 weeks spent in the Nightmare Beast Island, even as a lot of criminals died, others made names for themselves like Legolas.

nThe Nightmare Beast Island was a dangerous place that housed powerful monsters up to Grade D, most especially the alpha Nightmare Beasts.

nThe reason why some of the criminals survived was that they lingered only in the periphery while the Grade D monsters lived at the heart of the island.

nApart from its danger, the Nightmare Beast Island was home to a lot of treasures like the Nightmare fruit that Predator ate but the criminals were too busy worrying about their survival to care about treasures.

nAfter getting Lucky and Predator, with his boundless knowledge as a veteran Summoner, Legolas started his journey of training his beasts.

nIn just 2 weeks, he was able to level up Predator so much that despite being just 2 years old, he was now able to stand his ground against some of the strongest Grade F beasts on the island.

nApart from clashing with beasts, Legolas also clashed with the other criminals and this was where he got his new nickname of Young Nightmare.

nHe had a Nightmare Beast, he was young, and sincerely, his feats already struck terror in the hearts of other criminals which motivated his nickname.

nHaving captured 8 criminals already, he was already recognized as one of the most dangerous criminals on the Island. Now that he had a bit of a reputation, he finally decided to start implementing his plan of escaping the island.

nAfter he spoke with the criminal, a meeting was arranged and 30 minutes later, he was seated before one of the Gang Leaders of the criminals on the island.

nThe powerful bald Grade F Pugilist was called Slabhead. He didn’t see it as an insult, he rather saw it as a complement for his large and extremely hard head.

n“Lord Slabhead”.

nThe Pugilist didn’t care that his guest was a kid. In the supers’ world, strength was all that mattered, it was the most respected thing.

n“My man told me that you had a plan to escape the island”.

n“Yes”. Legolas smiled.

n“Tell me”.

nLegolas did not leave him hanging. He explained his train of thought to the criminal, and also explained the reason why he came to meet him.

n“Unlike you, I don’t know the other criminals well. I want you to serve as my middleman who will explain my plans to them and compel them to join”.

n“What makes you think I’ll agree to your plan?” Slabhead narrowed his eyes.

n“Because it is your better chance at survival”. Legolas smiled. “This is your 3rd time here, you survived your 1st and 2nd, but you and I know that nothing is set in stone. Just one encounter with a Grade D beast is all it takes for you to lose it all”.

nThe bald Pugilist took a deep breath. “I have to admit that your plan is sound but it will not work”.

n“There are 2 Grade E superhumans on the island, they are the defacto leaders. Without their approval, nothing you say stands”.

nLegolas kept his smile. “I know, that is why I have another plan”.

n“Tell them that in 2 weeks, I will become a Grade E Summoner”.

n“…” The Pugilist scratched his head. “What?”

n“Give me 2 weeks, I will be a Grade E Summoner then”.

nLegolas stood up the next moment without allowing Slabhead time to react. “I will fulfill my part of the plan, make sure to fulfill yours”.

n“W-wait…”

nLegolas was gone before he could fully vocalize a word.

nSlabhead scratched his bald head again. “Becoming a Grade E Summoner in 2 weeks?” He turned to face his man. “Is that kid drunk?”

nAfter returning to his cave, Legolas evaluated his options.

nHis bold talk of becoming a Grade E Summoner in 2 weeks was not said on a whim. Fulfilling it under such a time limit was hard but nowhere impossible. If he played his cards right, he could achieve it.

nAnother reason for his confidence was Lucky and Predator’s outrageous growth speed. Combining luck and infinite potential was really a messed-up cheat.

nHe believed that both of them would get to the Grade E realm even faster than him, and this was a good thing since it would aid his escape.

nAfter making plans in his mind, he slept to rest for a few hours before waking up. Once he was up, the grind continued as they fought and killed beasts.𝑶𝗏𝓛xt.𝑐𝑜𝓶

nAlso, that day, he released the 8 criminals that he captured as a show of goodwill and his sincerity to Slabhead the Gang leader.

nAs the days counted, Predator showed even more promise as he continued getting stronger and stronger. Being a Star Fox, though Lucky also grew, she didn’t get offensive abilities yet due to her bloodline limitation.

nLegolas guessed that she would only become a fighter after maybe her first evolution that would awaken the primordial powers in her.

nAs Legolas trained with his pet and his contracted beast, in the blink of an eye, a week already passed and both Lucky and Predator did not disappoint his expectations. Both finally became Grade E beasts.
