nOf the Gang Leaders among the criminals that were offloaded in the Nightmare Beast Island, the Frost Crane and Afro Pugilist were the defacto leaders.

nThe Frost Crane was the one recognized as the stronger of the 2, and this powerful criminal ruled a large part of the periphery of the island.

nHis turf was called the Rock territory.

nThis powerful criminal was a Grade E Summoner who already established his reputation and strength among the other criminals a long time ago.

nHis contracted beast, the Frost Crane was the reason for his nickname and his tyranny. Not only was the massive Crane able to breath ice and manipulate it, the Crane also had all the deadly qualities of any beast Crane.

nThe Rock territory experienced activity like usual as the gang members of the Frost Crane went about their daily activities, hunting and killing beasts.

nUnknown to them though, a stranger infiltrated their midst today.

nLegolas finally acquired the required strength to level up a grade to the Grade E realm. Having passed through this process already during his previous life, Legolas planned ahead to complete the grade level up mission.

nHaving secretly studied the Frost Crane already during his 3 weeks here, Legolas had in-depth understanding of his strength already.

nHe probably even understood this criminal’s strength than the criminal himself. The Frost Crane was a Grade E Summoner already, but due to a lack of resources, he could not make full use of his powers yet.

nLegolas hid in the forest that was close to the steep formation of rocks, and beside him stood Predator as they overlooked the enemy territory. Lucky was still unconscious and he had no choice but to leave her behind in the cave.

nHe already arrived at his plan but before he started, Legolas turned to face Predator with a serious look as he accessed the Nightmare Beasts’ status again.

nAfter becoming a Grade E Nightmare Beast, apart from his improved stats, Predator finally had access to make use of his darkness affinity powers.

nSeeing the 2 special abilities brought a smile to Legolas’s face as he finally gave his contracted beast the order to move in.

nOnce the loud roar reverberated across the Rock territory, all the criminals in this turf were alarmed as they recognized the roar as that of a Nightmare Beast.

nBefore they could react, Predator who after his grade level up was now as huge as a mature male Lion pounced out of his hiding spot into their midst.

nThe menacing Nightmare Beast was not recognized, not many people knew about Predator’s grade level up. Predator was ruthless as he started a rampage immediately across the large Rock territory.

nScreams filled the background as the criminals tried to rally together to fight the Nightmare Beast to the extent that even the Frost Crane himself was drawn out. Once the Frost Crane was drawn out, Legolas moved.

nInstantly after he moved, his Call of the Wild and Jungle Cruise passive abilities were triggered as his speed increased while he blend more into his surroundings which further prevented the criminals from noticing him.

nLegolas avoided contact with all the criminals as he successfully infiltrated the personal space of the Frost Crane.

nOnce he entered the cave that was hidden in-between the rocks, he found the Frost Crane’s personal belongings. The set-up was complicated though which meant that he had to search to get what he wanted.

nLegolas started searching instantly but just 2 minutes later, the loud cry of a Crane reverberated as the temperature in the cave dropped a few degrees.

n“So, you’re the culprit, naughty kid”.

n“How dare you enter my cave you arrogant bastard?!”

nThe Frost Crane was incensed. This notorious criminal was angered but he could not eliminate the intruder immediately since his Frost Crane was too big to fit into the narrow hole that led into the cave.

nLegolas ignored the loud voice as pushed by the pressure, he searched faster and finally found the leather box that hid a bunch of books and pamphlets.

nAs the Frost Crane rushed into the cave, Legolas randomly picked one of the books and opened it as his virtual interface lit up a notification instantly.

nThe Frost Crane was a Summoner too but his stats were more powerful than Legolas as he grabbed and pinned the kid to the cave wall with a menacing look on his face, the book fell in the process but Legolas already achieved his goal.

n“What do you think you are doing?” He asked with a growl.

nLegolas ignored him and laughed while thinking. “It’s just like the game. Like I expected, I was able to learn the class knowledge by just making contact with the book. Damn, I’m really a cheat in this world”.

n“Answer!” The Frost Crane growled again.

nLegolas finally answered but not with his mouth, he answered with his hands. With his grade level up, all his attributes also experienced an increase.

nAs the boundless energy of a grade level up flowed through his body, his eyes briefly glowed green as he grabbed the Frost Crane’s hand.

nThe Frost Crane’s eyes widened as he felt the little kid apply pressure to his hands. Not just the pressure, he recognized the familiar energy presence, without a doubt, this naughty kid just experienced a grade level up.

nInstantly, without a word, he released his hand from the kid’s neck.

nLegolas calmly looked at him. “Can we talk?”

n“Ok”. The Frost Crane nodded his head naturally like nothing happened.

nThis was the authority of power. With just this power increase, things that were originally inconvenient to Legolas became as convenient as flowing water.

nAs the Frost Crane led the kid to sit down in his cave, only one word rang in his mind. “Give me 2 weeks, I will be a Grade E Summoner then”.

nHis eyes widened. “It’s not even 2 weeks yet!”
