n“Give up!” Buffalo rose up again.

nHis 2 contracted beasts, the Buffalos suffered considerable injuries due to Legolas’s moment of inspirational fighting but they were very much still alive.

nAt this moment, this assassin already fused with his 3rd contracted beast.

nAfter fusing with the gigantic Python, Buffalo transformed into a larger version of the Python but with an additional part to its body. From the front of its slippery body, this Python grew 2 body parts that seemed like hands.

nWith these 2 hands, in his Python form, Buffalo was able to hold his Rifle.

nApart from the poisonous abilities of the Python, it’s incredible endurance and attack power, Buffalo also retained his firepower with his Rifle. This was a perfect Summoner combination, Legolas was inspired by the sight.

nBuffalo was not taking it though, he glared at their target.

n“Your student is gone, you are vastly outnumbered and outmatched”.

n“Surrender!”

nLegolas looked at this assassin with a taunting look on his face. “You said that the last time, have you forgotten how it ended?” He chuckled.

n“Cough…!” Chuckling made him cough violently as he grasped his chest in pain.

nLegolas took a deep breath then he looked around him, apart from Buffalo, the other assassins were also alert and in place to neutralize him.

nAfter the incredible power and ingenuity that he showed to damage them when his greatest advantage which was his beasts was cut off, they were wary of this human and was why they urged him to surrender.

nAt this moment, Legolas through his telepathic connection with them could sense Akela and Bran’s distress, they wanted to help him but they could not.

nHe sighed and looked.

nAt the furthermost end of this assassin group stayed the gigantic Mammoth, despite not being able to stay on top his beast, the assassin riding the Mammoth stayed at the back as he needed the beast’s defense.

nStanding beside the Mammoth’s leg, he already aimed with his Sniper Rifle again. Any wrong move from Legolas and he would ruthlessly unleash his load.

nLegolas also knew that he was an Earth Elementalist.

nAs for the assassin codenamed Rhino, he was now the assassin closest to Legolas. On top the gigantic Rhino, this Pugilist held his mechanical twin sabers.

nIf another decisive battle broke out, Legolas had no doubts that this fearless Pugilist would lead the charge directly to him for close-combat.

nAs for the assassin codenamed Crow, she suffered the most from his brief counterattack. After getting her beak blasted by her own weapon add-on, her beast, the gigantic Crow was now heavily injured as it cried pitifully.

nDespite the state of her beast, this female assassin ignored it as her eyes never left the target. As a Pugilist also, she held a light sword on her left hand.

nLegolas briefly had a look of nostalgia on his face, he remembered the good old days in his previous life when he formed raid parties to fight the 6 Ninja Assassins.

nCrow with her light sword was by far the most elusive of them all.

nThen he finally looked at the skies, first at the assassin codenamed Vulture. The mechanical eyes of the Vulture kept on scanning him as his Weapons Specialist master would not hesitate to unleash hell on him if he didn’t surrender.

nLegolas looked at his last opponent in the skies.

n‘The Inevitable Owl’.

nHe chuckled to himself at this infamous name flashed through his head.

nAs the 2nd in Command of this assassin unit, she was a beast in battle, Legolas still had a vivid recollection of her.

nHe took a deep breath. “I’m not ashamed”.

nHe chuckled. “I feel flattered to die or be captured by your hands”.

nThey thought he was joking but this time, Legolas was genuinely sincere. The reputation of these 6 assassins among players was crazy in his previous life, he wished he could travel back in time and boast of this battle with his buddies.

nDespite his thoughts, he was still not going down without a fight.

nShing!

nLegolas’s eyes concentrated as he pulled his remaining strength together.

n“Predator, let’s give them one last piece of our mind”.

n“Roar!” The Nightmare Beast roared again after being urged by his master.

nLike Legolas, when he was attacked from all sides, the Nightmare Beast was also attacked as bullet holes and arrows now stuck out of Predator’s body.

nPredator ignored all the pain and allowed Legolas to mount his back.

n“Do not kill him”. Buffalo gave his only orders.

nBOOM!

nMammoth unleashed another shot with his lethal Sniper Rifle.

nWarning! You have been heavily injured!

nWarning! You have lost 28% of your health points from one attack!

nThe burning sensation and the turning and cutting sensation like a thousand knives were stabbing through his chest caused Legolas a great amount of agony.

n“Arghhh….!!!” He growled and gritted his teeth through the pain.

nFeeling his master’s agony, Predator roared angrily before taking the charge forward. Despite Legolas and his beast’s zeal to cause more damage, they could not, they were not against amateurs but veteran assassins.

nUnder Buffalo’s impeccable leadership, they boxed him in and ground him down like they were hunting a gigantic and powerful monster.

nPredator could only roar and thrash about, Legolas could do very little.

nBam!

nOne last tail whip to the head from Buffalo in his transformed Python form was what was needed to knock Legolas into unconsciousness.

nHis eyes soon faded into darkness.

nInstantly after master and beast became unconscious, Buffalo gave orders as the assassins fulfilled different roles. The assassin codenamed Mammoth drove his gigantic beast forward as Rhino helped to haul the Nightmare Beast on top it.

nAs for Legolas, he was bagged in a black bag by Vulture.

nOwl went at deactivating the Space-time stabilizers.

nIn less than 3 seconds, they were done and they left, leaving no traces of their identity behind after fulfilling their mission.

n…

nThud! Thud! Thud!

nThe sounds of footsteps of a frustrated man reverberated through the forest, guttural grunts of frustration occasionally followed as he vent his anger.

n“Ahhhh…!!!” Blade screamed as he grabbed his head and collapsed on the ground, he felt like he was going crazy.

nHe did not leave the forest after escaping the pursuit of the assassins of the Clown Society, he felt too guilty and useless to go find his senior apprentice brother.

nThe guilt that faced Blade at this moment was unlike anything that he had experienced before, thoughts of suicide flooded his head.

n“Ahhh!!!” He screamed again as his nails tore his skin open.

nLeaving his master to the enemies even though it was his master’s intention left Blade confused, frustrated, and angry. It reminded him too much of months ago when his tribe was annihilated by Max and Maggie.

nAgain, he could do nothing but only survive, he was fed up of surviving alone.

nBlade grabbed his head tighter. “I hate this world!”

nHis deep frustration brought questions that he had never asked before to him. “Why do bad people always seem to have the most power?”

n“Why are good people always the weak ones?”

n“Jon Stones died”.

n“Master was captured”.

nHe punched the ground. “Being good…, is that the source of weakness?”

nAt this moment, his brain was already too fractured from the sense of defeat that different theories, questions, and crazy ideas came to his head.

nBlade asked different questions that reflected his desire to know why good people always died and were the weaker ones, he could not arrive at a good answer. His frustration only increased since he couldn’t get a good answer.

nHis roars attracted a few beasts but he vented his anger on them.

nAfter slaughtering more than enough beasts, drenched in blood, Blade finally gave in to his exhaustion as he collapsed on the forest ground.
