nAnother splashing sound reverberated as the massive Frog jumped happily like any other frog when it was raining, splashing mud everywhere.

nIt’s narrow eyes like those of a snake squinted even further as it splashed mud happily, clearly, it was having a good time.

nFor minutes, this Frog kept playing in the rain, completely unaware of the danger that crept closer by the minute from the thick veil of darkness of the night.

nBy the time the Frog detected it, it was already too late.

n“Combination Sword Technique: Triple Threat Net!”

nThe 3 Pugilist brothers erupted out of their hiding while yelling their moves at exactly the same time. As soon as they drew their swords, their Pugilist Energy materialized as powerful green sword energy that illuminated the area.

nThese green sword energies materialized so fast that the Frog could barely react. In the air, they intertwined like when a bag was being weaved together.

nAs soon as they finished intertwining, they formed a huge net.

nA net formed out of sword energy!

nThe Frog was alarmed, he detected the danger.

n“Croak!”

nReacting fast, the Frog attempted to dodge by jumping to the side as a last ditch effort but unfortunately for it, the 3 Pugilist brothers were not alone.

nThis was when Esther took action.

nWith her ice and wood affinity, this was the perfect environment for this powerful Mage to show her craft. With one hand, Esther held her magic staff while with her left free hand, this Mage effortlessly weaved magic signs.

nShe chanted instantaneous incantations to finish her preparations.

n“Ice Magic Ability: Frozen Rain!”

n“Sage Magic Ability: Magic Petroleum!”

nInstantly, the rain and the mud on the ground came under her control.

nThe rain started gaining a white misty edge to them as they fell, then the next moment, as soon as they touched the Frog’s skin, they turned to solid ice.

nThe rapid freezing significantly slowed down the Frog’s jump.

nThat was not all, with the Frog slowed down, Esther did her mischief with the mud. Unlike Elementalists who simply developed an affinity and familiarize themselves with an element to develop as a super, Mages went much further.

nAfter choosing an affinity, instead of simply bonding with that specific element, they rather study the mysteries of the element to fully comprehend it.

nBreaking down the codes and mysteries of an element was their path to growth.

nThrough this grueling task of learning, they increase their familiarity to the extent where they can understand an element far better than any Elementalist. This also allows them to do much more with every single element.

nEsther’s magic signs and incantations seemed to have stimulated the mud, the mud suddenly seemed to have come alive!

nIn that instant, the mud experienced a fundamental and chemical change that turned it into lethal petroleum that could explode at any moment.

nThis was also when one of the Elementalists made his move.

nInstantly, this Elementalist’s fire affinity affected the lethal petroleum, turning it volatile and more energetic as the next moment an explosion of massive proportions occurred.

nJust before the petroleum detonated, Esther drank an elixir that made her merge into the earth, barely dodging the immediate range of the explosion.

nThe Frog was caught in the middle of this deadly explosion.

n“Croak…!” It croaked loudly in pain as its skin was scorched and torn open even as blood flowed like a river, but this was still not all.

n“Psychic Ability: Mental Destabilization!”

n“Psychic Ability: Depression!”

n“Psychic Ability: Psychic Blast!”

nThis time, the collision was completely mental as the Frog jerked while still being burned before blood started flowing out of its orifices.

nThis was still not all.

n“Edge Specialty: Decapitating Sword of Light!”

n“Arghhh…!” This Mage roared as he levitated into the skies.

nIn the skies, he rapidly weaved a magic hand sign as a gigantic sword made purely out of light energy appeared beside him. Once this sword of light appeared, the night seemed to escape, Edge finally released it.

nThe Sword of light moved through the air with thunderous speed!

nEverything that happened till now was in an interval of just a few seconds.

nAll the previous attacks dealt this Frog a great deal of damage. Faced against some of the most elite Grade D hunters, the Frog was forced to play along with their game, and it was dominated, frustrated, and left with little chance to retaliate.

nDespite suffering though, the Frog was still alive.

nNot this time though, when the Frog felt the Sword of Light charging towards its body, its eyes widened as for the first time, it felt a threat to its life.

nIts brain geared into overdrive, thoughts flowed fast in its head but the speed of thought could never compete with an already defined strategy and plan.

nBefore it could prepare a way out, another hunter already made his move.

nLegolas was already fused with Akela.

nThe Frog stood no chance, the mighty hurricane picked it up like a doll!

nPicked up, it could no longer dodge, even as the hurricane itself dealt damage to it, the Pugilist brothers’ sword energy net also got to it.

nWhile trying to hold the Frog in place, this extremely sharp net made out of sword energy cut injuries all over the Frog’s body.

nThis was just a prelude for the ultimate coming attack.

nEdge’s Sword of Light finally hit.

nThe explosion of light was blinding.

nA cracking sound reverberated as the Frog coughed blood, the next moment it was slammed to the ground as this Frog’s gigantic body bled a river.

nThe bright sound briefly blocked all sight, they could not see the current state of the Frog but without a doubt, that combo did the Frog bad.

n“Is it incapacitated?”

nWell, Esther seemed to have asked for trouble because it came.

n“Swamp Ability: Swamp Control!”

nThe next moment, the swamp everywhere seemed to come to life.

nThe swamp rose up like a monster, forming a gigantic barrier that temporarily pushed the hunters away, giving the Frog a moment to breath. At this moment, its eyes were already red and desperate.

nAs soon as it had a moment to breath, it went berserk.

n“Swamp Ability: Earthquake Stomp!”

nThe Frog leaped up high into the skies and on its landing, it was like an earthquake just happened as ripples and vibrations spread through the forest ground. Dozens of trees fell as all the hunters on the ground received damage.

nThis briefly destabilized the hunters, the angry Frog counterattacked.

n“SPEAR TOSS!” It roared with it’s guttural croaking loud voice.

nThis Spear was literally thrown at point-blank range towards one of the 3 Pugilist brothers. Instantly, the Pugilist felt a great threat to his life.

nHis brothers helped him but the Spear still slammed against his chest as he coughed a mountain of blood, this Pugilist flew back like a meteorite.

n“Martial Ability: Double-Speared Frog!”

nAs soon as this ability was activated, this Frog showed its ability as a Warpsnare as it literally materialized 2 new Enchanted Spears out of nowhere.

nThe Frog’s eyes gleamed; its counterattack was just starting!

nBefore the Frog could gain momentum though, it was sniped!

nPerched on top a nearby tree, Rion resonated with his hand-crafted Sniper Rifle again as the muzzle of the Rifle glowed with energy.

nAlarmed and angered, the Frog tried to react.

n“Edgar Specialty: Calm as a Still Lake”. Edgar whispered.

nThe next moment, all the Frog’s alarm and anger disappeared. The sudden loss of these 2 vital emotions made it vulnerable, its actions slowed and this time not only Rion, but Edge also took advantage of this opening.

n“Mechanic Ability: Overpowered Shot!”

n“Edge Specialty: Decapitating Sword of Light!”

nThe combination of all these elite hunters overwhelmed the Frog.

nThis time, the Frog was hit again fair and square.
