nThe beast finally broke out of its cocoon!

nWith one flap of its wings, it’s skinny but muscular body levitated into the skies. This beast that appeared looked like a bat but it also looked like a human, literally all the hunters including Legolas recognized it immediately.

nTheir eyes widened. “A Blood Vampire!”

nTime seemed to slow down as this dangerous Vampire levitated.

n‘Enhanced Sense- Fear and Weakness Detected!’

n‘Special Blood Vampire Ability: Commandment!’

nThe Blood Vampire activated both abilities in less than a second while still levitating in the air, spacetime seemed to slow down significantly, giving him a crazy edge over the humans as everything flowed faster before him.

nThe Enhanced Sense was a passive ability of the Blood Vampire, but the Commandment was a lethal ability that enabled them to manipulate emotions.

nAs soon as he detected fear and weakness, he commanded!

n“I command that you become paralyzed with fear!”

nThe couple instantly became paralyzed!

n“…!” The eyes of the 2 Elementalists remained pinned on the Blood Vampire.𝑜𝑽𝑙𝐞xt.𝕔𝑜𝗆

nA mixture of fear and anger alternated between their eyes. Memories flashed within their eyes, memories that they were reluctant to visit.

nWeak and vulnerable, they could only watch on that fateful day 20 years ago as their son was torn apart by the ruthless Vampire. Despite being willing to sacrifice their lives for their son’s, the Vampire only had appetite for teenagers.

nSince then, they had to live with the guilt of not being able to save their son and only child. Since then, they trained like maniacs with this trauma.

nFast-forward 20 years, they were now Grade D Elementalists, seasoned hunters of the Hunter Society yet they never got to outlive the trauma.

nThe sight of a Blood Vampire reminded them of this cruel truth.

nThey were still tormented daily by it.

nThey were still afraid of that fateful day.

n“I command that you become paralyzed with fear!”

nInstantly, both Elementalists paid the prize of letting down their guard due to their fear and traumas as instantly, they became paralyzed.

nThe Blood Vampire flapped it’s massive bat wings again.

nWhoosh!

nEverything was happening so fast, literally none of the hunters could keep track with the outrageous speed of the Blood Vampire. Only Legolas, a Grade C Superhuman was able to keep coherent track of the Vampire’s movements.

nHe was alarmed.

n“Defend!” He yelled even as he exploded into action.

nHave separated from Akela already, Legolas didn’t even have time to give his beast instructions as he simply accessed his storage ring while charging forward.

nBy the time that he arrived, the Vampire already arrived.

n“Blood Vampire Ability: Natural Weapons!”

nThe next moment, the Blood Vampire seemed to undergo a qualitative change. Its nails became as tough and sharp as knives, it’s teeth like daggers, even as it’s gigantic bat wings seemed to become the long edges of sword blades.

nThe Vampire did not hesitate, it slashed at the 2 paralyzed Elementalists.

nBy now, Legolas’ Flames of Elandel Enchanted Daggers already appeared on his hand but he already calculated that he could not make it on time.

nLegolas improvised and changed his strategy on the spot.

n“SNAP OUT OF IT!” He roared at the 2 Elementalists.

nAt this moment, there was no time to think, he simply acted on instinct.

nCrack!

nSomething seemed to crack in their minds, both Elementalists woke up.

nThey didn’t wake up entirely due to Legolas’ roar, it was also because of their unwillingness and anger. Love between parents and their offspring was one of the most undiluted love ever, separation could create crazy vengeful spirits.

nEven as both Elementalists were frozen in fear due to the trauma, in the end, their anger and will for revenge trumped their fear of Vampires.

nThe love that they had for their son already transcended life and death.

nThey vowed after that day that they would avenge their son.

nTheir eyes turned red like they became berserk.

n“Forbidden Elementalist Ability: Burning Blood; Accelerated Metabolism; Tooth for Tooth!”

nBoth Elementalists seemed to instantly turn into the Hulk.

nAn explosion of power of crazy magnitudes rushed out. Before the Blood Vampire could react, the Elementalist couple with different elements confronted it.

nThis Forbidden Elementalist Ability burned their blood in exchange for power. Apart from increased metabolism and the boosts that followed it, the greatest boon of all was that it enabled them to combine their Elementalist affinities.

nCombining ice and fire, it created a crazy combination, blood steam!

nThey didn’t need finesse to control the hot steam, they simply let it out!

nBoom! Boom! Boom!

nThe Blood Vampire was shocked, it could not dodge on time as the tyrannical power of the steam tore into it’s sturdy skin, drawing first blood!

nThe couple dealt crazy damage in exchange for receiving crazy damage themselves. At least, this bought time for the other hunters to react.

nWhoosh!

nLegolas slashed with his Enchanted Dagger as fire covered the edge.

nBam!

nWith a focused look on his eyes, Rion pulled the trigger again.

nWhile the last Pugilist took care of himself after being injured by the Warpsnare’s Frog form, his 2 brothers left him and charged forward to engage the Vampire. The Mages and Edgar were not idle either as they attacked.

nAttacks rained on the Blood Vampire but unlike the ungraceful Frog who relied more on strength, the Blood Vampire was graceful and agile.

nHe was as quick as a cat and as elusive as a rat.

n“Blood Vampire Ability: Enhanced Healing!”

n“Blood Vampire Ability: Enhanced Strength!”

n“Blood Vampire Ability: Enhanced Durability!”

n“Blood Vampire Ability: Enhanced Agility!”

n“Curse Spell: Speed Reduction!”

n“Curse Spell: Damage Reduction!”

nEven as the battle continued, instead of decreasing, its battle strength increased, pushing the veteran hunters to draw more into their stash of battle experience to keep this powerful monster contained.

nIf it wanted to escape, it could have already escaped at this point but the Blood Vampire didn’t escape because it wanted revenge for losing one of its forms.

nApart from its crazy physical attacks, drawing into the power of its bloodline, the Blood Vampire started releasing different curse spells.

nHe didn’t even need to draw magic circles and signs, ingrained in its powerful bloodline, it simply accessed them and unleashed them instantaneously, catching the hunters off-guard and disrupting their tempo.

nAfter a crazy battle of an intense pace for 15 minutes, the 2 Elementalists finally lost steam as another Pugilist was terribly injured. Before running out totally though, the couple made their last ditch effort.

n“Forbidden Combination Ability: Volatile Reaction!”

nAfter one last combination of fire and ice, producing the dangerous steam, this time a much more volatile reaction occurred as the steam produced gathered such a crazy concentrated energy that made it seem like an atomic bomb.

nBOOM…!!!

nWith the explosion, the couple became totally spent.

nIn exchange, they injured the Blood Vampire but that was all. Activating it’s enhanced healing bloodline ability literally negated all the damage.

nThe hunters were shocked as the realization of what they were facing finally dawned on them, Edgar reacted the most. “Warpsnares are too dangerous”.

n“And I bet this is not even its final form!”

n“Your Almighty the…”

n“Do not mention his name here!” Legolas was quick to interject.

nHe smiled. “He already intervened”.

nHe grinned. “He already blessed me”.

nLegolas no longer held back, he rushed forward even as he let his Grade C aura blast out with the force of an avalanche.

nHe didn’t even call Akela along, for a Grade D beast, he was confident that he alone was enough to take care of it.

n“…!”

nAs soon as his new aura and energy spread out, all the hunters reacted with shock even as they came to their different conclusions.

n‘The Great One can do something like this?!’ Edgar was going crazy.

n‘He indeed is an Almighty!’

nFeeling the sudden change in aura of one of his enemies, like the other hunters, the Warpsnare was also shocked into action.

nThe Warpsnare could feel death directly breathing against its neck.

n‘Who is this hunter?!’ It dared not hesitate.

n“Final Forms: Dark Warg Form!”

nBzzz!

nBefore Legolas could close the distance to it, the Warpsnare suddenly divided into 2. One of its forms remained the Blood Vampire, but the 2nd form brought out a Warg reeking with the dark energy of the underworld.

n“Woof!” This Warg’s bark reverberated like thunder.

nThere were 2 tangible form opponents, but something else attacked Legolas first.

nHe was not afraid, he was simply amazed by the abilities shown by the Warpsnare, it made him all the more hyped for the takeover.
