nFor a few seconds, Legolas felt regret.

nThroughout the battle against the Warpsnare, all that Legolas was engaged in was observation. He carefully observed the abilities of the Warpsnare to determine if it was worth it for him to take as his 4th contracted beast.

nThe first Frog form of the Warpsnare was powerful but if that was all that it could offer, to Legolas, taking it was not worth it.

nAfter the death of it’s first form though, the ability of the Warpsnare to revive in another form was the first ability that fascinated him.

nKnowing that the Warpsnare had a Blood Vampire form increased his overall grade for it. The power shown by the Blood Vampire impressed him, this was the reason why he decided to finally end the show once and for all.

nHe was already satisfied with the Warpsnare, he didn’t want it to kill one of the hunters before interfering because that was already the trajectory of the battle.

nWhen he decided to subdue it, he didn’t expect the Warpsnare to have other forms. When a Dark Warg appeared, Legolas was surprised and impressed but he was even more shocked and impressed when he received the first attack.

nNeither of the Vampire or Warg attacked him yet, it was another form beast.

nThe form that attacked him was a Deceit Monkey.

nIn an instant, more hunters seemed to have been convinced by the incredible abilities of the Warpsnare as they turned against Legolas, raising arms against him.

nInstantly after he fused with Akela again, he did not hesitate this time, manipulating Akela’s powers, he activated the Alpha Wolf Specialty as instantly, the power of tens of thousands of wolves rushed into his body.

n“Who is this guy? He is not one of the Grade C Lords of the Hunter Society, have you betrayed the trust of the Hunter Society?”

n“Edgar, what have you done?!”

n“Bastard! I trusted you!”

nAll the hunters were already triggered by his sudden decision to subdue the beast singlehandedly. Him revealing his true powers made them snap back to reality, they were all veteran hunters, they easily understood his motive.

nRemembering these words, all of them felt their passion become stoked. “Edgar, tell us! Is he a rebel or an alien?!”

nEdgar was already in trouble as he retreated from the battle after being attacked by multiple attacks from the hunters he previously saw as comrades.

nSeeing everything that happened, Legolas finally understood.

nThis was rich considering that in its eventful life, it had killed 2 Grade C Monsters that let down their guards already.

nLegolas’ convincing effectiveness told this intelligent beast that it stood no chance, the Warpsnare finally decided to cut its losses and escape.

n“Shriek!”

nIts screech was loud as its Deceit Monkey form became invisible again.

nThe last 2 forms also turned in a bid to escape.

nLegolas snorted. “Not under my watch!”
