Chapter 77 - Cat Fodder
Qin Hua's health and stamina were plummeting and she knew that she had to change something. Just running around was not going to cut it.
But she was also not able to stop and use any of her spells because she was only barely holding on. If she stopped, she would take an attack and that would be the end of everything.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
Qin Hua ran around and bracing herself for a hit, she quickly summoned her clone. Her speed slowed down a bit and one of the boas managed to sink its fang into her.
A wave of drowsiness swept across her body and Qin Hua felt her body considerably weaken.
However, the health that she lost was instantly replenished by one of the Leech Bite gains, though the overall health loss was still considerable.
Damn it. Damn it. Damn it. I knew this would happen. She sucked in another big breath.
On the brighter side, her clone shared half her burden and it was now a lot easier for her to move around.
Qin Hua was not done yet. As soon as she had some breathing room, she instantly cast Dark shackles on one of the boas praying that it worked.
Since the beast was several levels stronger than her, she was not sure the skill would be effective, but beads of darkness appeared around the boa, slowly extending over the full length of the snake.
Qin Hua sighed in relief as the darkness slowly enclosed the big monstrous snake and completely locked it in.
She was not sure how long it would last but now she had to deal with only three boas and evading their attacks was a lot easier, especially with her clone sharing her work.
Majestic Growl Qin Hua roared loudly activating the skill again.
She had 3 Skill points saved up from her last level upgrade for Health Potion emergency purchases and she tossed all the 5 Stat points in her agility bringing her net agility to 130 125 -> 130.
Qin Hua twisted her neck and cracked her bones, ready to once again plunge close to the boas. She now had the confidence to Rip and Maul a couple of times before ducking back away.
The clock was ticking and they had to take down at least one of the three active ones before the fourth one got freed from the dark shackles.
As she activated Dash and leaped towards one of the boas, suddenly another growl sounded. What the heck is this now?
Qin Hua turned around to see a pack of what looked like cats, ready to pounce and attack everyone. At this point, she could only grin at these three new unwelcomed guests.
She really did not have any more mental space left to feel scared. She was maxed out on all emotions at the moment.
Woof! Woof! Woof! Welcome to the party boys. Let's see who you are. Inspect. Inspect. Inspect.
This upgraded Inspect skill is awesome! I can see everything now. Wind magic? Do these guys have wind magic? But still…. Ba ha ha ha!
She burst out laughing, now changing the direction of her movement towards the cats.
Ba ha ha ha! So weak! You idiots! Why did you come here? Qin Hua laughed in their faces, after taking a single glance at their stats.
Two of the mutated cats had unique abilities but they were still no match to her or the boas. She had no idea why they had come here but she didn't care about that.
Rather it was a blessing that they were here!
Qin Hua grinned wickedly and dashed towards three cats who were now staring at the massacre in front of them dumbfoundedly.
Just like how the others were frozen solid when they had first seen the boas, three cats were also dumbfounded.
Qin Hua couldn't help but gulp at this realization. This was an important factor. It looked like powerful beasts had this advantage.
Their mere presence alone can hold down the enemies in place probably by emanating some sort of powerful aura.
Qin Hua dashed towards the cats but she didn't attack all three of them at the same time. She only attacked the one on the right.
Leech Bite
Rip
Maul
The mutated cat and its two friends snapped out of their trance and tried to claw back at Qin Hua but they were no match for her.
She was pretty sure that her strength and agility far outmatched them even though they were all at the same level. This was the effect of the bonus stats from the Cleansing Potion.
It only took her a couple of hits to bring down the first cat and without any hesitation she sunk her canines into its throat, tearing its head away from the body and absorbing its shiny white core swiftly.
Ding! Ding! Ding! Her heath, stamina, and mana reserves immediately recovered and a wave of energy swept across her body.
The boas noticed this and let out loud hisses in anger, with one of them reacting more sluggishly compared to the others and its roar was also not that loud.
Qin Hua ignored the two other cats after smirking at them as if she was daring them to go ahead and do whatever they wanted and ran back to the boas.
Majestic Roar
Dark shackles She first redid the spell again, keeping the fourth one completely bound, and then dashed towards the northern boa which didn't look that fierce anymore.
Its body was injured in multiple places, a dozen ice spears impaling it in multiple places and green blood oozing out. The beast heaved heavily as it swayed and tried to follow her movements.
