Chapter 172 Debauchery Hall
After a little bit of rest, I gathered the girls around.
My tamed beasts, Ember and Fang, and the newly added Yorm and Judy.
My tamed monsters, Igni and Fina.
My servant contractees, Wan Li and Wan Er, and the tamed monsters belonging to them and Ying Yue. From Wan Li, there’s Xiao Bing and Huan. From Wan Er, there’s Xiao Huo and Da Longwei. From Ying Yue, there’s Guihuo, Guang Long, and Qiji.
Looking at the large group before me made me realize just how far I had already come. It felt like yesterday when I was training Ember, who was just a jumpy blob bouncing around.
As I was enjoying a little flashback, Ember finished creating the portal leading back to the Seimei residence. One after the other, the girls entered the portal and vanished. After seeing that all the others were already done, I entered, with Ember closely following behind.
“Finally, you’re here!”
As soon as I reappeared on the other side, Guren’s slightly irritated voice echoed. When I looked at him, his face was haggard, probably from working overnight. In his arms, he was clutching a large pile of documents.
“Come and follow me. I’ll brief you along the way.”
He shouted as he turned around and walked away.
Having no other choice, I followed him as he instructed. We went past the training grounds and to the back of the main building, where it should only be a wide and untouched forest. However, there now stood a gigantic building about ten floors high, with each floor as wide as the Seimei’s main building. Each floor could probably fit hundreds, if not thousands, inside it.
“This is the place I promptly asked our craftsmen to make. I named it the Debauchery Hall.”
“Pffft!”
Hearing a laugh from behind, I turned to look, but none of the girls wanted to admit it. They all kept a poker face as if saying, “It wasn’t me.”
“What’s with that name? Are you high or something?”
I can’t help but doubt his sanity. However, Guren just laughed hysterically after hearing my words.
“Right after appointing me as the Seimei’s prime minister, you vanished! Then, there are suddenly bats flying all over the kingdom! Then, there’s the endless query from the Luo! Now, with you not present, who do you think handled all of that?!”
He shouted everything in one breath. I could definitely feel his anger radiating from his words. Well, he was planning to spend his time idly and train his monsters, but was forcefully held back after all. With my untimely kidnapping, I somehow dumped all my obligations to him.
“Well… what can I say? Sorry?”
Guren snorted angrily as he pushed the pile of papers in his hands toward me.
“So, I named it the Debauchery Hall to pick on you. I have no regrets!” 𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗹.𝐨𝗿𝗴
Well, a name is a name. It’s not like its function needs to completely follow how it was named, right? I just let it go as I went to the building’s door while carrying the stack of papers that Guren passed.
“Master, let me take half.”
After seeing me struggle to open the large door, Ember promptly took half of the stack, freeing one of my arms.
“Leader, let me help too.”
“Me too, my Lord.”
“Then I’ll help too.”
Seeing Ember’s action, the other three moved and snatched the stack from my hands. They then redistributed the papers evenly amongst themselves before following behind me.
As my hands were already free now, I easily parted the double doors and entered. The first thing I noticed after entering was the noisy chatter of the succubus girls. Every one of them near the door turned to look at us as we entered.
“Ein!”
Ying Yue, together with Julia, waved at us, ushering us to the stairs. The two led us to the center of the building on the 5th floor, where a special room was made. The inside of it was turned into a splendid office with an elongated table.
The worktable looked like it was made of hazy or smoked crystal as it sparkled in dozens of hues under the light of the chandelier. The chairs, scattered around it sporadically, were fitted with soft-looking cushions in a mix of blue and brown colors. Zehion and Zeta sat down on such chairs while sipping steamy coffee.
“Your seat is over here.”
Ying Yue pointed to the head of the table, where a more splendid seat in red and brown hues was placed. However, I can’t clearly see the magnanimity of the design as the part of the table in front of the head seat was filled with papers stacking up like a mountain.
“…”
Seeing all the paperwork before me, I felt like just walking away and escaping. However, the lives of 10,000 tamers will be affected if I delay it any further, so with reluctance, I sat down.
Ember and the others placed the documents they were carrying on top of the pile, making it so that I can’t even see God Zeshion’s face anymore without standing up.
For now, I ignored the documents, pushed some of them to one side, and asked.
“So… what’s the plan?”
Hearing it should be faster than reading these piles. God Zeshion nodded his head with a smile as he presented an accessory that he pulled out of nowhere.
“Long story short, we would need all of them to wear this special ring, and this special model is for you to wear 24
/7.”
The thing that he showed was a ring with a simplistic design. A silver-colored loop with a small black crystal embedded deep in the middle. I picked up the one that God Zeshion slid across the table and wore on my finger.
As soon as it got into contact with my skin, the ring started releasing space energy in minute quantities. Almost invisible even to my eyes.
“This is?”
Although I could tell that it was some sort of spatial artifact, it was different from a storage ring. To my question, goddess Zeta quickly answered.
“This ring is a mini-wormhole that leads from that ring, which I call the server ring, to these types of rings, which I call the client ring.”
Hearing her words, I quickly beamed with joy. However, the next line quickly made my smile freeze.
“Right now, there are only ten of these client rings. I can make more of them, but it’ll take ten days of nonstop work for me to make enough for all the girls.”
