n“My name is James Walker. I am your new English teacher. Nice to meet you.”
nHis melodious voice, like a spring breeze, knocked on every girl’s eardrum and made their hearts feel itchy.
nThe girls clutched their hearts, their eyes full of infatuation.
nIt seemed that they would faint at any time.
n“He’ s so handsome!”
n“I’m dying…”
n“I want to give him a baby!”
nSuddenly, someone boldly asked him. “Mr. Walker, do you have a girlfriend?”
nJames smiled and replied. “No.”
n“Then are you seeing anyone?”
n“What are your criteria for choosing your girlfriend?”
n“Will you date a girl who is much younger than you?”
nThe students began to bombard him with questions and there was a hubbub of voices in the classroom.
nJames put his index finger on his lips, hushed them quiet, and smiled. “Shall we have our lesson first”
n“Okay!”
nThen there were only book-flipping sounds in the classroom.
nThe previous English classes were boring.
nNow, however, everyone was energetic. Their eyes closely followed the man on the podium, reluctant to move away for a moment.
nJames glanced at the class and saw that everyone was listening attentively, except for the two students bending over the desk and sleeping soundly in the last row.
nHe checked the roster and found their names.
nClaire and Derek.
nAfter class, James closed the book.
nA girl raised her hand. “Mr. Walker, I have a question for you, may I?”
nJames smiled and nodded. “Sure.”
n“I’ve got one too!”
n“Me too!”
nThe girls swarmed up to the podium and surrounded James, following him out of the classroom.
nThe boys sneered. “These nymphos, now they suddenly become interested in English!”
nAs the monthly exam was approaching, in Lance Middle School where the competition was fierce, the students no longer frolicked and began to actively prepare for the exam.
nThe atmosphere in the classroom was tense.
nOnly Claire was bending over the desk and asleep as always.
nDerek elbowed her awake. “Hey, the monthly exam is coming. Don’t you want to prepare for the exam?”
nClaire replied impatiently. “I’m too lazy to do that.”
nHow lazy was she?
nWhen she got the test paper, she just filled out the multiple-choice questions in a few seconds and then handed in the test paper.
nDerek was stunned.
nTeachers’ office.
nJames was marking the test paper when he suddenly found a blank paper. Not only was there no name written on it, but a big turtle was drawn in the top left corner.
nHe frowned.
nEven when he frowned, he looked gorgeous.
nThe history teacher was stunned for a while by his handsome face. Then she leaned in and asked enthusiastically, “What’s the matter, Mr. Walker, you don’t look very good.”
n“There is a blank test paper.”
nThe history teacher took a closer look and was not surprised. “That’s Little Overlord.”
nJames asked, “Who?”
nSuch a hilarious nickname.
n“Derek Brown, everyone calls him that.”
nJames remembered this name.
nHe was one of the two who were sleeping in his class.
nThe history teacher comforted him. “Little Overlord hands in blank papers every time he takes an English exam. Just get used to it.”
nJames opened the grade record at hand. “But his previous English scores have always been high.”
nThe history teacher asked, “Do you know Simon Johnson? And Hunter Johnson?”
nJames nodded.
n“Little Overlord is Simon Johnson’s nephew, Hunter Johnson’s cousin. Who dares to offend him? No one can refuse him when he threatens the teachers to give him a high score.” The history teacher drew closer and lowered her voice, whispering. “Once he even put money inside his English test paper. In fact, all the previous English teachers quit because of him.”
nJames frowned slightly. “Really?”
n
