Chapter 236 - : Count Dracula Is finally Here

nThe time for the WuTang Clan’s demise was approaching.
nWhen the clan repelled the Count’s attack back then, everyone was able to tell that it would only be a matter of time before the Count struck again.
nThere were a lot of military personnel garrisoning the perimeter around the clan’s estate. Still, everyone knew very well that the military was probably useless when it came to taking on Count Dracula anyway.
nThe Count had proven his fearsome capabilities through those fights. He was someone who could take a direct hit from a shell and emerge unscathed, after all.
nFighters at such a level were utterly hopeless for regular armies to fight—even elite special forces—to take on.
nEven an agency like the Special Task Force, which specialized in taking on cultivators, was able to do little against Count Dracula.
nThe best they were able to do was simply repel him.
nThere was a consensus shared by everyone: beings at the Celestial Realm could only be fought by those also at the Celestial Realm.
nUnder such circumstances, the WuTang Clan’s demise was simply inevitable.
nThe limit placed on everyone by the world meant that none of those Invincible Vajras were capable of breaking into the Celestial Realm.
nNo one was able to save the WuTang Clan.
nMany came to knew that the Count was there at Huaxia specifically to take out Lu Xuan initially, but there was hardly anyone who cared about that at the moment.
nThat was because the Count was unable to find Lu Xuan and had suffered quite a loss back at the Yunxuan Villa, even losing an arm. It was said that the arm was in the custody of the Special Task Force at the capital.
nGiven the situation, it would only be natural for the Count to hit the WuTang Clan, which was seen as an easy target at the moment, yet again.
nCultivators throughout Huaxia were mourning the upcoming, inevitable loss of the WuTang Clan, while simultaneously sending their best to witness the inevitable end.
nIt went without saying that no one dared to get too near the clan, as they would have risked being taken out by the Count along the way if he were to feel like doing so.
nBut then again, no one had any intention of giving up on a chance to witness an epic battle like that.
nIt was known that fighters at Celestial Realm were incredibly tough, but no one had any idea just how tough such fighters actually were.
nThe impending doom of the WuTang Clan was an opportunity like none other for learning such matters.
nEven if this opportunity were to be brought about by the clan’s demise, there was no way around it. The world of cultivators was not a merciful one, after all.
n“Let’s go out and see Count Dracula in action.”
n“Being able to see someone at the Celestial Realm in action is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, after all.”
n“We might learn a thing or two to prepare us for the future by watching the Count fight.”
n“The WuTang Clan is done for, and I’m afraid they’re probably only able to send some of their own away to preserve their heritage somewhat.”
n“With the world changing increasingly drastically and spirit qi being restored at an increasingly frightening rate, being hit by an event like that will only knock the WuTang Clan back in progress when compared to the other clans and sects. But then again, this is just an ordeal they have to deal with.”
nThe entire world of cultivators throughout Huaxia was shaken before long.
nMany senior cultivators who were training in isolation prior headed out.
nIt was especially so with the Invincible Vajras. At their level, they had already become very aware of the limitations placed on them by the world; it felt like a thick ceiling above their heads, preventing them from going further.
nNobody was able to make a breakthrough under such circumstances. As such, being able to witness a fighter at the Celestial Realm fight was the best way and only to learn anything.
nThe news even spread to some nearby countries, and many high-level cultivators were on their way to witness such a fight as well.
nA staggering number of fighters gathered at the foot of the mountain the clan was established on.
nMany common cultivators simply had no idea what to expect, and the sight of so many powerful people in one place dazed them.
nNone of them dared to imagine just what kind of sight was being laid before their eyes.
nAnyone they saw could probably be someone who was renowned throughout the entire nation.
n“Gosh, they’re so many throughout the world gathering over here already?”
n“I guess it’d really take a Celestial Realm being like Count Dracula to gather such a crowd.”
n“But then again, this is really an insult like no other to us cultivators of Huaxia.”
n“The south revered the WuTang Clan and the north revered the Shaolin Temple. God knows just how many years that phrase had been said. Yet, the WuTang Clan is about to be doomed, and we can’t do sh*t about it. Boy, it’s really an insult to us all in Huaxia.”
n“This reminds me of the darkest century back then, where we cultivators of Huaxia were seen as easy targets, and any country was able to just pick on us.”
nMany in the crowd spoke of this issue. Some felt exasperated, while others felt frustrated. The way the Count threw his weight about was indeed an insult like no other to all of them.
nIt had been ages since the last time where no one was able to do anything against a foreigner doing whatever they pleased on Huaxian soil.
nYet, no one was indeed able to do anything.
nThey hated the limit placed on them by the world at the moment more than anything, as Huaxia indeed had the heritage to fight such a threat after all.
nHowever, none of those heritages were of any use at the moment, for they were utterly useless against beings at the Celestial Realm.
nAll in Huaxia needed to wait for the next transformation worldwide and for spirit qi to be further restored before some among them would be able to break into the Celestial Realm. It would simply be too late by then.
nMany swore deep down that when they made a breakthrough into the Celestial Realm, they would definitely take revenge by tearing the Vampiric Empire apart.
nFighters from all corners gathered below the mountain, but no one dared to get close. None was seen within a certain perimeter from the mountain itself, and all brought equipment like telescopes to watch the upcoming event.
nThe clan looked unusually calm at that moment, with only two of their priests standing guard on the mountain path.
n“Count Dracula probably isn’t gonna show up right now. He’ll probably come in the night since he’s a vampire. While the level of cultivation he’s at means that he’s hardly afraid of sunlight, he still works best during the night, no?”
nSome speculated that the Count would only come during the night.
nIt was just as they speculated. No one saw the Count coming even after waiting for one whole day. While there was no doubt that the Count was unreserved with his actions, he was nonetheless cautious.
nNo one would have gotten no news of his whereabouts throughout the whole time, after all.
nThe Count’s powers as a vampire would be boosted by more than 50 percent at night. It was worth noting that said 50 percent was not to be trifled with, as even 10 percent would make a world of difference among fellow cultivators of the same level.
nNight came, and the priests left. Everyone sensed danger by then.
nThe crowd realized that there was not even any sound from birds or bugs at the mountain. The entire place felt stifling. It was like a ferocious beast was lurking somewhere.
nA dark shadow streaked past the sky out of nowhere at the moment.
nThe dark shadow landed on the steps leading to the clan’s estate in no time.
nEveryone took a good look and found a handsome young man standing there. He was dressed in black, and his webbed wings were pulled back as he walked unperturbed towards the main hall.
n“Count Dracula is here.”
nEveryone looked sharp at that very instant, and all of them held their breath as they locked their gaze on that handsome young man.
nA vampire at the Celestial Realm.
nCount Dracula, whose name was known throughout the entire world.
