nIn response to Min Sung Kang’s command, Ho Sung Lee arrived at the room where Leight was confined.
nThe hunters on guard opened the door for him, and Ho Sung Lee went inside.
nLeight was staring into space in the room.
nHo Sung Lee put a cigarette in his mouth and sat at the end of the bed with his legs crossed.
n“If you cooperate, you’ll be set free,” said Ho Sung Lee.
nX-HIT’s head, Leight, continued to stare into space.
nHo Sung Lee smoked his cigarette and waited for Leight to say something.
nA moment later, Leight opened his mouth.
n“What happens next?” Leight asked Ho Sung Lee.
nHo Sung Lee exhaled the smoke and offered Leight a cigarette.
nLeight accepted it and put it into his mouth. Ho Sung Lee lit it for him with a smile.
n“Since the declaration has been made, they’ll probably catch them all or more like… kill them.”
nIn response, Leight gulped.
n“Then how will the hunters make a living?”
n“The governments will probably give them money.”
nIn response, Leight smiled. And Ho Sung Lee knitted his brows at him.
n“What?”
nLeight looked at Ho Sung Lee with a smile.
n“Do you really think the governments will give them money as they promised?”
n“They will,” Ho Sung Lee answered with unshaken eyes.
nLeight shook his head.
n“You’re so innocent.”
n“You’re the one who’s innocent.”
nLeight looked at Ho Sung Lee.
nHo Sung Lee continued, “Can you say that after meeting Min Sung?”
nLeight shivered.
nIt was clear from his neck that he had goosebumps.
nHo Sung Lee smiled.
n“If the governments don’t keep their promises, there won’t be any exceptions. Just like the drug organizations… the governments will go down, too.”
n“It won’t be easy because of human rights.”
nHo Sung Lee smirked.
n“Human rights? Do you really think Min Sung cares about his image with the public at this point?”
nLeight looked at Ho Sung Lee with surprised eyes.
n“Look, it wasn’t planned to make Min Sung Kang be worshipped by the public. It just happened that way. Human rights? We don’t need any of that.”
nLeight’s eyes slowly turned into fear.
nHo Sung Lee continued, “Min Sung is the only godly being who can stop the world from extinction. As long as he’s in the center, the balance will be established.”
nLeight smiled bitterly.
n“This is going to turn into Hell.”
n“Why? Since Min Sung said he would step up, as long as he doesn’t get gutsy…”
n“You really have no idea.”
n“…?”
n“Cockroaches can’t be exterminated.”
nHo Sung Lee smirked.
n“I don’t know. I think you’re the one who has no idea.”
nLeight looked at Ho Sung Lee with confused eyes.
n“Look. Look at yourself, who tried to commit suicide.”
nLeight’s eyes shook.
nHe had a lot to think about.
n“Of course, just because the declaration was made, it doesn’t mean they’ll hide his tracks. But once time passes…”
nHo Sung Lee tilted his head and smirked once he thought of something.
n“They’ll crawl out willingly and ask Min Sung for their punishment.”
nHo Sung Lee nodded while looking at Leight with a certain face.
n“That’s what will happen.”
n“Then I guess you came here for information.”
n“Yeah.”
nHo Sung Lee took out a recorder from his item window and held it in his hands.
n“Then shall we begin?”
nHo Sung Lee beamed at Leight.

nJi Yoo Kim asked about what would happen next, and Min Sung gave honest answers.
n“First, the hunter leaders will act. And if they don’t do a good job, I’ll act next.”
nJi Yoo Kim looked worried.
nShe couldn’t help it.
nShe didn’t know about the hunter leaders, but once Min Sung began to act, it was going to be a graveyard of bodies.
nIt was going to be hell where human rights didn’t exist.
nJi Yoo Kim was aware of this, but it was difficult to get involved.
nThat was because it was a very complicated problem.
n“No one will outwardly step up, but there will be great resistance.”
nWhat Ji Yoo Kim was talking about was in the image sense, and Min Sung was not unaware of this.
n“I don’t care about that,” Min Sung stressed.
n“Once we get information from the X-HIT’s head, Leight, we’ll spread the information to the hunter leaders. And then I’m going to send Ho Sung Lee to the site.”
n“Ho Sung?”
n“Ho Sung Lee will either deal with the problems that he faces during the search or report to me.”
n“How skilled is Ho Sung Lee right now?”
n“The most powerful after me.”
nIn response, Ji Yoo Kim looked surprised before she came to an understanding.
nThat was because she understood that he grew substantially while following Min Sung Kang around.
n“… I see.”
nJi Yoo Kim seemed a little relieved.
nIf Min Sung acted before even checking for the evidence, a misunderstanding or accident could occur.
nIn order to prevent that, it was better to let Ho Sung Lee go in instead.
nHo Sung Lee currently had the best combat ability in the world followed by Min Sung.
n“Commander of Central Institute.”
nIn response, Ji Yoo Kim turned and looked at Min Sung.
n“No exceptions. Same goes for within Korea.”
nJi Yoo Kim smiled.
n“Of course. No exception for me either.”
nInstead of answering, Min Sung looked over at the dessert and drinks.
nFirst, he brought the cup containing the Americano to his lips.
nSlurp!
nThe hot Americano entered his mouth, and just as he experienced the heat and bitterness of the Americano, he picked up his fork.
nThe dessert was a cheese mousse cake.
nOnce the sweet cake entered his mouth after the bitter Americano, Min Sung jolted his eyes wide open due to the surprise.
nThe dessert was absolutely delicious.
nJi Yoo Kim smiled at Min Sung’s reaction, but Min Sung didn’t even notice and focused all of his energy on the cake.
nWhen he saw the color, he assumed it was chocolate cake, but that wasn’t true.
nIt was a cheesecake.
nThe flavor was surprising.
nOn top were crumbles of cocoa that tasted like chocolate, and along with the crispy texture, he could taste the chocolate.
nBut then, the texture of the bread disappeared, giving way to the soft cheese flavor below.
nThe sweet and soft flavors went perfectly with the Americano.
nAs time went on, Min Sung found it more difficult to crawl out of the shocking flavors.
n“Isn’t it delicious?” Ji Yoo Kim asked while leaning in.
n“I can’t believe it. I never knew such flavors existed.”
nMin Sung moved his fork as if he had discovered a whole new dish. He then hurriedly picked up his Americano.
nOnly after drinking the bitter coffee did the impact of the dessert intensify.
nMin Sung took two sips of his Americano and moved his fork toward the cheese mousse cake again.

nThe recording of Leight’s confession finished, and once Ho Sung Lee wrapped everything off, he put the material in his item window and tapped him on the shoulder.
n“Good work. You’ll be able to get out soon.”
nBy the time Ho Sung Lee greeted him and stood in front of the metal door…
n“I have a favor to ask you.”
nIn response, Ho Sung Lee looked back at him.
n“What is it?” Ho Sung Lee asked.
n“Can you check if my family is still alive?”
nHis eyes contained desperation.
n“Didn’t you try to die?”
nHe was asking if that meant anything anymore.
nLeight looked down and laughed.
n“That’s true.”
nHo Sung Lee stared at Leight before sighing.
nAnd then…
n“I have to go back to Brazil anyway. I’ll check if I find the time, but don’t expect anything.”
n“Thanks.”
nLeight gave him a sincere gaze.
nHo Sung Lee found it burdensome, so he looked away and left the room.
nCreak! Slam!
nThe heavy door closed, and Ho Sung Lee sighed.
nOnce he organized the material, he just had to hand it over to the hunter leaders, head over to where the mission would take place, and stand by.
nThat was because Min Sung Kang commanded that it had been confirmed whether corrupt hunters would appear.
nHo Sung Lee walked up and down a cold and quiet corridor and thought to himself.
nHe thought about why Min Sung Kang was trying to wipe out the criminal organizations.
nAs the forces became bigger, Min Sung Kang hated the idea of a war taking place against the governments.
nThat was because war meant that public order would be destroyed, and that would get in the way of peace.
nBut more importantly, war would pose a negative influence on traveling the world and eating food, which Min Sung enjoyed the most.
nBesides that, it would also be bothersome and uncomfortable to deal with.
nHe had the power to resolve the issue himself, and he would benefit greatly from using that power to control the hunters.
nThat was probably the reason why Min Sung Kang decided to take over the forces.
nAnd the one who was directly involved was Ho Sung Lee.
nUntil now, there were all sorts of incidents that were impossible to resolve while accompanying Min Sung Kang, but it was different now.
nHis role was more important than ever.
nHo Sung Lee reminded himself that he couldn’t make any mistakes or fall short of his expectations and went up to the 3rd floor of the Central Institute building and entered the VIP guest room.
nInside the empty guest room, Ho Sung Lee put a laptop on top of the table and began to organize the information.
nOnce he was finished with the information, he had to head straight to Rio, Brazil.
nHo Sung Lee took out the recorder containing Leight’s voice. He pressed play and typed in what he heard.
nHe organized the information in Microsoft Word, and he uploaded the recording file to an email.
nOnce he was finished, Ho Sung Lee left through the back doors to the parking lot and got into his car.
nHo Sung Lee started the car. He pressed on the gas pedal and drove over to the Warp Gate.
n
