Chapter 393 - My Dear Prince

n

n

nInside a tent just like the numerous ones present here, two people sat on opposite sides of the table.

nUnlike the other tents, this one looked similar only on the outside but the inside was a whole other matter.

nLuxury at every single glance that one could take was seen in this place.

nAt the very center of the tent was a tea table with two couches being occupied by two people.

n

"So my dear Prince, what can I do for you today?

" A man sipped from the goblet in his hand as he glanced at the person sitting before him.

nA young boy with bright blonde hair falling over his forehead took a sip from his teacup before placing it on the table.

nLooking up, his emerald eyes met those of the man who took another sip from his metallic goblet.

n

"It's a shame that you are still a child. You need to grow up faster to enjoy the finer things in life.

" The man chuckled before finishing the crimson liquid then set the empty goblet on the table.

n

"You talk like an old man, Sevenz.

" The younger boy spoke while rolling his eyes.

nThe man named Sevenz chuckled heartily while counting something on his fingers.

n

"Eight years, young Prince. I am eight years older.

" He reminded the younger boy, bringing a scowl to his face.

nThe young Prince sitting before Sevenz was none other than the future Grand Duke of the land, Prince Draco Roschester.

n'I get a headache each time I meet him.' Draco rubbed his forehead to ease the throbbing which would escalate if he stayed here for longer.

n

"Do you have anything new for me?

" He inquired as this was his purpose for their meeting.

nSevenz gasped while clutching his chest and shook his head in disappointment.

n

"It's your elder brother's birthday tomorrow and you haven't prepared a gift for him?

" He questioned and wiped an imaginary tear from his cheek.

nDraco blinked his emerald eyes at the man who should have gone to the theatre troupes instead of running this massive business.

n

"Not that it is any of your business but I already have the gift prepared. This is supposed to be an additional surprise for him.

" He scoffed while correcting the misconception of this dramatical fool.

nSevenz nodded seriously while rubbing his chin as he thought of something that could attract the eye of the King, Draco's elder brother.

nNoticing his contemplation, Draco did not disturb him as this was what he was best at.

n'No matter how much he acts like a fool, he is the best at his field.' He praised the man in his mind but would never say it out loud.

nAfter all, this man was Sevenz Oca, the young owner of the business named Ocular, a traveling caravan that dealt with high-end and rare items from all over the world.

nDraco silently watched the man whose origins were a mystery as no one knew which kingdom he belonged to.

nAll they knew was that this caravan was something that he had inherited from his forefathers and within a few years, he had elevated its status to where it was right now.

nThe young Prince had met this young man during one of his exploration missions.

nThough they had a rough beginning, the two had become good friends from then on.

nMost of the gifts that Draco gave to his family were acquired by entrusting Sevenz the duty to fetch them.

nThe Blue pearl that Princess Felicia had received for her recent birthday was also something that he had asked Sevenz to find for him.

nEven the cat that she received from Prince Fritzen was from a side branch of Ocular that dealt with exotic animals.

nWhile Draco was thinking about the various items he had purchased from Ocular over the years, Sevenz had finally found something in his memories that was fit for a King.

n

"Prince, how about-

" He began but found that the boy's attention was somewhere else.

nTurning in the direction that Draco had been looking in, he could not see anything as the tent was thick but he was able to hear soft muffled voices coming from the people who were passing by.

n{Miss St. Claire}

n{I would be grateful.}

n'Such a cute voice!' Sevenz clutched his chest and squealed at the second voice he heard before there was silence.

nDraco frowned at the abrupt squeal which brought his attention back to the present.

n'What is she doing here?' He wondered and his frown deepened when thinking about the attention she was gaining everywhere.

nBeing a man with keen eyes, something that his family was known for over the decades, Sevenz Oca smiled meaningfully when he found the Prince deep in thought.

n

"I shall be right back!

" He announced as he rose from his seat.

nPicking up a robe from the rack by the entrance, he put it on, covering the loose white luxurious robes he was wearing.

nDraco watched as the only thing now visible was the face of this lunatic who was grinning widely.

nSevenz then pulled down the hood which concealed his face and walked out of the tent, leaving this young Prince alone in the tent.

n'Isn't he treating me a little too casually?

" Draco scowled at this man who was taking him for granted.

n___

nHaving covered his appearance with the robe and hood, Sevenz walked past the side of the tent where he had heard the voice then looked around to find the two little girls that he had just heard.

nThankfully, his search came to an end when he found a small group at the stall that sold jewels and gems.

n'Now which one had attracted that great Prince's attention?' He grinned while walking in their direction.

nConcealing his presence, he watched as one of them spoke at great lengths about the jewels that he acquired, making his chest puff up with pride for his accomplishments.

nHe had recognized the boy with them due to the iconic red hair but he had no clue about the identity of the girls.

n'That silver hair girl is smart.' He praised while glancing at Elna and his eyes never even turned towards Yvonne who had been silent until now.

nWhen he heard the commotion that the 'smart' girl had made, he frowned that his work was called subpar.

nThis insult, he had never faced before as people pleaded to do business with him but now this girl had questioned his sincerity.

nHowever, his frown turned to surprise when he saw the silent girl speaking up in his favor.

n

"Miss, how did you know that it was a Tanzanite?

" He questioned before he knew it.

nSevenz never showed his face to those he did not know and trust.

nSo except for his men and a select few, no one knew who he was and what he looked like.

nAs he had spoken on impulse earlier, his head had raised for a moment which allowed his eyes to meet those amethyst eyes of the little girl who was looking straight at him.

nYvonne was stunned to see his eye color as this was something that she had seen once before.

n'White pupils and irises.' She thought of a fictional character that her younger brother Vince used to watch with great enthusiasm.

nShe remembered that people with this kind of eyes were gifted with the ability to see what others couldn't and also that every time they used their skill, their nerves would pop.

nThe little girl chuckled and shook her head at this absurd thought that had appeared in her head which made Sevenz tilt his head in confusion.

nHe did not know that his eye color had reminded her of a familiar anime character her brother used to watch.

n

"Miss?

" He called out and saw her nod.

nTurning around, Yvonne glanced at the Tanzanite and explained that she had differentiated them based on their color, clarity, and the way they were shaped.

nThe Manager knew that this was their Master based on his voice so he too nodded his head.

n

"This little Miss is right. This stone is indeed a Tanzanite, something our Master found on his latest trip to the neighboring Kingdom.

" He revealed with a proud smile.

nElna was under the impression that she was right but now the manager and this little girl had proved her wrong.

n

"I see…

" She nodded but did not express her apology for the harsh words she had just said.

nYvonne did not bother with her as her attention was on this mysterious man whose aura was not that of a mere commoner.

n'Who are you?' She tried to decipher his identity which did not seem simple at all.

n
